    Thank You Sir for explaining such Machine Design calculations there are no videos in here discussing in such a deep way as you are discussing thanks for sharing such expert knowledge. Also one request was that I wanted a video on Wire Diameter Bending calculation with roller bending. wire diameter will be 8-10mm. I want to design a Ring Making Machine where the 10mm Wire Diameter is going under roller pressure to create a complete ring of diameter.

      I'm so glad it helped 😊 wire bending calculation - Yes sure, but this will take time

    Thals for the video. But as the weight of the upper Lid and Pneumatic cylinder forces combines and becomes total 180Kg. But we can not apply more than 50Kg load or force on our tank part, so my question is, why are you choosing only 50 Kg reaction force from spring? It means 180-50=130Kg would still be applied on the tank? (But we can not apply more than 50Kg)?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  5 місяців тому

      Pneumatic cylinder stroke is going to be dead, by stoper. So its top lead + pneumatic cylinder force will become 0. And 0-50 kg = - 50 kg. Watch this video again i have explained this same thing.

    Your animation was lovely and clearly understandble❤❤... Voice also very clear and good
    I have an one doubt top fixture we are giving force 50kg bottom fixture already 132kg if i put load cell on bottom how much kg force really i will get either 50 only or 1 kg, thanks in advance kudus to your work sir.. ... 🎉🎉

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  7 місяців тому +1

      Thank you so much Srinivasan, yes, I have done some acoustic treatment over front wall to get audio right.
      Loadcell- Top fixture we are giving force 50 Kg (No top fixture weight is 80 Kg in this example, but we are just stopping this weight with stopper), Bottom fixture already 132 Kg. (Yes, it is. 135 Kg.), If I put load cell on bottom, (where at bottom? if you will put load cell between top fixture and bottom fixture, you will get 50 kg spring reaction force, if you will put load cell anywhere bellow top fixture you will get kg spring reaction force) or you can send me mark picture, where exactly you want to put load cell.

    Pls share catalogue where i can see spring constant.
    I have a conical helical spring, wire dia 0.8, small dia 6mm, large dia 16mm length of spring is 28mm, how to know spring constant.

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  5 місяців тому

      Catalogue: You can find springs catalogue on any spring manufacturer website (eg. MISUMI)
      Spring constant of spring depends on all these parameters, that you are mentioning, and you can calculate spring constant, formula is in this video, or just search on google. but better to find spring constant in their manufacturer catalogue, because spring constant also depends on manufacturing process and heat treatment, material composition

    Please upload a video for beam i.e. ismc, etc selection. What will be the allowable strees, allowybending moment & allowable deflection

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  5 місяців тому

      For beams and structure, calculation is very tough. Because in real-world loading directions and Structure joints will always be complex. Which makes calculation of failure so much complicated. So always prefer FEA analysis. No liner Statics analysis

    But sir how to know the selected spring is capable to carry the load...
    And load under UTS.

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  6 місяців тому

      In most of case you should rely on manufacture defined Maximum spring force for selected spring (Don't apply force more than spring max. force), for stress calculation, you can calculate, shear stress. you can find the formula in mechanical element design textbook. (I had also mentioned in video)

    Why not take applied force in k calculation

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  6 місяців тому +1

      An amount of force, which is a 50 kg mass object applies in gravity. Technical 50 Kgf. (Killo gram force) In Newtown 50g - 50x9.81 Newton.
      If you are wondering why I'm saying force in Kg why not directly in Newtown.
      So in practical work we don't have feelings for Newton unit. For example if someone says 500 Newton force. Technically perfect but we don't get feel on 500 N. And if someone says 50 kg of force. We get that easily. Because we know our body weight is 60-70 kg. We know how much is 1 kg. How much is 1 ton. So we feel it easily. So we generally represent force in Kgf. 50 kgf means 50x9.81, approx 500 Newtown
