- A final surprise for Nightwish's last show of the 2022 tour in Prague: Yannis Papadopoulos, lead singer of Beast in Black, joined them for the song Sahara. Yannis has an amazing voice and together with Floor this performance was absolutely mind-blowing 🤯
Yannis is living one of his biggest dream, singing with one his fav bands 😊 he is so talented.

The best part is how much fun they are having and you can tell Floor is genuinely impressed by Yannis and his vocal prowess. That coming from someone on a vocal level like Floor has, for me, cemented Yannis as one of the greatest vocalists of the 21st century.

I need more of these two together. The chemistry with Yannis and Nightwish was so wholesome-complete with Toumas running off to give him a hug after the set. ❤

I would pay so much just to see him perform ghost love score live. That's my all-time favorite piece he's ever done, covered or not.

I was also pleasantly surprised when they performed it (in Zurich). Although only Floor, but that was golden too. Such a groovy song.
I wish we could have had this, but I guess we had to 'settle' for Henk Poort. Can't have it all.

@@andrefricke9998 So did I. I would have loved to hear Sahara and Our Decades in the Sun, but you can't have them all. But, I was in Amsterdam, so heard the Phantom of the Opera and was there in sept 2021 when Floor did Our Decades in her solo tour.

Around a minute into this vid, you can see a large video camera in front of the stage. So there should be something in the works.
I didn´t know BIB until I saw them opening for Nightwish back in October. They were a very pleasant surprise, Yannis has a ton of energy on stage, it was very fun to watch them live.

I didn’t know them either before seeing them open for Nightwish in LA this year! They are a powerful band and I’ve added several of their songs to my playlists.
That guy is an amazing singer and had amazing energie in Beast in Black. He would fit in Nightwish to sing Marco his parts 😄 amazing
He can play the bass too! But would be a shame to lose him on BIB! Hope they collaborate more instead!

still, there s little contrast with Floor’s voice and therefore does not give a very different element to the band’s sound. Also when he and Floor sing together, their voices merge to the extent that they might sound like one νοιce quality intensified, instead of 2 different ones complimenting one another.
I was on this live. Yannis is amazing. Perhaps after a few years Nightwish may take him as a member, it would be great.

Yannis is great, Nightwish is great, but so is Beast in Black. Not sure if he'd be willing to be a secondary vocalist for Nightwish full time instead of being the frontman of his own band.

Some days before this show I asked Yannis in the autograph session how they didn't ever sing ghost love score together with Floor during the tour! And finally it happened with Sahara!

I saw Beast In Black open for Nightwish at the London gig, and remembered that Yannis had done a cover of Ghost Love Score. I though to myself at the time that it would be really neat if they did a duet together. I'm so glad they did, but sad they didn't do it at the London show. Great upload. I enjoyed Deast In Black so much, that I've booked tickets for them in the UK in February.

@@dieseldog00 I was also ( positively ) surprised about Tuomas because this is really rare. Yes, unfortunately this was the only song they performed together. I also liked it when Floor said to Yannis: "What a voice!".

It seems they all enjoy getting off stage at some point or another. It seems that the next number started with Troy on accoustic guitar in spotlight and Floor only. Either "How's the Heart" or more likely "Our Decades in the Sun" as Praha was the last concert of their European tour.
Floor being able to go for it because she knows Yannis is strong enough to hold his own.

I had known the Sahara Yannis' Cover before and I like so much your interpretation in this song, is so magical.
When I went the NW Rio concert and discovered the openning band was Beast in Black, I dreamt for this moment there but didn't happen.
Is so rare a NW band colaboration and this surprise is excited.
I hope that keep this collab in the next official record.
My theory is that they have Yannis around the tour to have backup singer for Floor in case she gets too sick.

Just awesome these 2 together! 🤗 Thanks for uploading 😃😃 You can see how much she enjoyed it to have another vocal beast next to her, with whom she can have a 'vocal battle' like in the 'good old times. The way she started to belt at 1:21 and how she turned her head around then to belt together with Yannis. Exactly like she did it always with Marko. I'm sure she misses Marko a lot!
Maybe they should invite him to join them, gives Floor a break and less weight upon her shoulders as only super vocal!

@@claud_ariz oh you can be a member of two bands at the same time. More musicians are. Marko had another band going for many years, Thuomas too has another project going on
@@irenehabes-quene2839 yes but BIB and Nightwish tour a lot and most of the time at the same time.And in the summer, both bands plays a lot of festival. Yannis couldn't really manage to be in the two bands at the same time.

When they performed it in Gliwice without Yannis just a couple of days earlier I thought "wow, that's a missed opportunity". I saw his cover before the concert and was really hoping for a collab. You guys in Prague were so damn lucky to experience this!
Yannis and his incredible voice. The first time i heard him was on UA-cam, i think it came up as a suggestion after i had listen to Nighwish, i click't on play and didn't look at the screen at first, and that light,high voice made me wonder "Wasn't there a guy on the screen?!?"

The smile he had on his face is ridiculous, that’s like some boyhood, dream, smile right there, and I really appreciate the “Tuomas hug” at the end.
The problem is now is that Yannis has open the floodgates, because when he spoke to A&P reacts he said something to be affect of he’d never do NW songs with Nightwish, any covers for my own personal why the fuck not?
