Thank you. Excellent and brief video. Another little trick, especially for seams, is a bright flashlight inside the waders turned inside-out. It's best done in a dimly lit room.
Ended up with a fly in my backside yesterday I know it punched through the waders but thankfully not it only went through my waders and not skin. This is a great help! Thanks trout whisperer!
Should you cover the entire surface area of the patch with the AquaSeal or just on the tear itself before placing the self-adhesive patch? Thanks for the great video!!
Good stuff man! I have 2 pair of good quality waders that have leaky seems in the crotch of all places. I don't have time to buy new ones before a trip so hoping this helps. Bought a couple of repair kits from your links! I put my waders through a lot so I definitely need this kinda of thing. Thanks!
To fix the hole on the outside of your waders, did you scuff up the area around the hole and then apply the aquaseal or did you just apply it on directly? Ik the instructions say to scuff up smooth surfaces before applying. Thanks
thats mold there lol , yea wash them often with cold water , thats what the manufacturer recommends, great tip and info , i personally use rubber cement
Well done Mainer. I used to live in S. Portland. Thanks for the video.
