by far the most detailed video on the cd009 swap. thank you so much for this! i hope to get this done on my sc400 someday. any chance you remember if you had to do anything extra for the slave cylinder to fit or work with the chassis, or was it fine as it was? thanks a lot man! this video gives me the courage to do it on my 95
I appreciate it bro! I wish I did a better job tbh. But the Slave ended up being good as is. And yes I definitely recommend this swap it’s game changing. I have more content with it coming soon!!
I just really wanted a 6spd and I know the CD holds more power than the W58. As for the trans…there’s tons on Fb marketplace. I recommend a newer one but I got the cd01 because someone was selling it with the serial9 shifter.
OD light blinks after the swap because all the clips from the auto trans don’t get connected. I’m sure you can get something to remove it but I don’t mind it. As for the ABS you should have no issue, previous owner messed mines up so I’ve never had it.
@ does it cause issues when driving? I’ve heard of people complaining of sputs of some sort due to not wiring the jump wire to low gear instead of natural which I don’t even think makes sense considering if it thinks it’s in drive wouldn’t it just not start lmao hence the whole point of jumping the p/n switch
@ I haven’t had a problem like that. I heard if you wire a on/off switch and start it in neutral then turn the switch off it gets a little more power but I can’t confirm that myself. I might try it in the future.

My dream right here I need this for my SC400. How did you decide on the CD009 and where did you buy the transmission?

What’s with the OD light blinking? Also the abs ? Was that all going on before you swapped?
