Sweden and Finland join Nato military exercise

- Nato has begun large-scale drills in its newly expanded territory in northern Europe that for the first time involve Finland as a member of the western military alliance.
More than 20,000 soldiers from 13 countries are taking part in the Nordic Response 2024 military exercises, which are being held in the northern regions of Finland, Norway and Sweden and will last for two weeks.
