Ryan Clark | Earning the Opportunity to Relax
Trey Wingo sits down for an exclusive interview with Ryan Clark. Ryan and Trey dive into his time on the field with Troy Polamalu, that wild hit that left both Clark and Willis McGahee on the ground, and the influence his family had on his work ethic. While Clark's NFL career is worthy of further attention, what he has done since his retirement is also. Currently, Ryan leverages his mass communications bachelor’s degree from LSU for ESPN covering NFL topics on NFL Live, Get Up, and SportsCenter. He also co-hosts DC & RC (an MMA-related program with octagon legend Daniel Cormier) and the Pivot Podcast alongside former NFL stars Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor. - Спорт

@Tony C that was the joke but I'm not stealing it cuz I'm not corny
Ryan Clark was underrated as a thumper in his day. People dont talk about him but he fucked a lot of people up.
Facts

You are cap 😂😂😂 everyone talked about him those Steelers defenses were great
I have no idea who he is
They don't know just how hard RC used to hit, Ryan was deadly with that innocent look for real. Steeler for life.
Imagine having Sean Taylor and Ryan Clarke as your safeties in their primes.A straight up bloodbath.

Ryan Clark was one of the most underrated hitters of all time
One of the most underrated *DB ever
Nah he just takes cheap shots
Donovan Darius was too
@@mattmonsees2393Helluva safety. Rarely gets mentioned these days
No. He wasn't underrated
That’s hype, I love when an individual can recognize their own greatness
But still understate it,remain humble unlike Lebrona. Lol
That was a SEAN TAYLOR story...✊🏿💯
No it isn’t 🤦♂️
@@PixelateThat yes.. it IS!
@@aburg6051 Extra. Shut up
@@aburg6051 no hes just part of it. Yall dont have to cape for everyone dead lol
It absolutely definitely most certainly was not.
I miss Clark and Polamalu on the field together.
Ryan Clark hit folks like he did not give AF about his own well being lol
He didn’t lol he was un drafted played with that chip on his shoulder
SHIDDD, just ask Willis McGahee. I know they were unconscious
Real💩
Man, Sean Taylor was a great player that we never got to see truly develop into the all pro he was. One of my favorite players of all time
Besides Kobe's passing Sean's death hit me hard. Both mem died in such tragic situations but the back stories of being with family or protecting them is how I will always remember them. R.I.P. Sean and Kobe. Rest easy fellas thanks for the memories
Same here. They are both immensely missed!
Facts. Both my favorite teams. Both my favorite players on the team. Can’t believe that Shit man 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Imagine being sad 🤡 you didn’t even know them personally
No one feed it any attention. That’s exactly what it wants. All y’all have a good day.
@@RiquoSuave410 big facts both of them were dangerous
Sean T would've been a HOF'r I love these stories, salute Ryan Clark
Man Sean Taylor was the man.
RIP Sean
If Sean Taylor gets 🔥'd up about a hit you've laid, you are doing something RIGHT!
RIP 21 ⭐
Clark a real one
Taylor was so good he could have played linebacker cornerback or safety and been great at all of them. Dude was amazing on the field.
Sean Taylor 🙏🏾💎❤️
We all need teammates like that 🫡
Ryan been a beast since we were kids .... We all knew he was going to the NFL 🤷🏾♂️
I like social media when it comes to the perception of athletes. 95% aren't thugs. These guys are real people. Also, they aren't dummies. Most have to have grades to play.
ST26 rest up King. Gone but never Forgotten C. A. N. E. S. 4L
🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
man that was Greg Williams best years as a defense coordinator good times!!!
“Sean” as in the one and only Sean Taylor??
Yessir
The one any only
He played like a HOF player in my opinion! Big ups to RC!👍🏾👍🏾🙏🏾
My boy played with reckless abandonment put his body on the line every play..🤘🏽
Hearing this is wholesome!! S/O to those three (including himself) Legends who were apart of this story!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽
RC didn't play on that field. He bringing the heat every time.
Sean would have been the greatest safety ever. Ed Reed would have to bow down.
The title 😂😂😂
lol I didn't event notice until you pointed it out and I saw your comment 😂
It's nice to see you Teeks and Clark Bar and Taylor made!!!!!
Wait so Sean Taylor and this man were safety’s together ? 😂😂😂 I know coming anywhere near the mid field was hell .
As a Commander/Redskin fan, I can say we made one of the dumbest moves by not resigning Ryan Clark after the ‘05…maybe ‘06 season. We had such a hard on for dudes with bigger names that we couldn’t recognize genuine talent when it was in our own building. The fact that the Steelers signed him at a time when they were on top tells you that he a true baller!
Sean Taylor was one of the greatest REDSKINS of all time and would had been a Hall of Fame safety! Rest/on 21!!!
Sean Taylor. I cry ever time I think about him and what should have been
Haven’t seen Trey Wingo in years 😂
I didn’t know that he played with Sean Taylor ! We learned everyday they say wow!
Ryan Clark was one of the few sleeper free agents that got away whose loss didn't hurt terribly. Dback was one of the positions the Giants actually had prettt solid depth in.
Trippin and slippin grippin
Ryan and Troy were some thumpers
Sometimes people just need a little bit of confidence thrown their way by a strong leader to grow
Ravens fan here, that hit he laid on McGahee in the 2008 Afc championship game was one of the most brutal shots I've ever seen, both of em was out cold, McGhee left in an ambulance
Someone help us find the highlight of this hit.
Clark was a Beast!!!
As a Giants fan..... Thanks RC
Ryan Clark was that dude! I find it hard to believe this man went undrafted.
Great Story 💪🏽
Damn. RC was teamed up with both Sean Taylor AND Troy Polamalu.
Goat Taylor giving props I love it!
You gotta love Shawn Taylor yo...
Formative years
Clark will light your ass up!!! -STEELERS'77- 🤜🏿🤜🏿
Ryan Clark was a head hunter who people forget was a head hunter because he was always beside a superstar safety
This is more of a Sean T story than Tiki story.
RC wasn't no joke!
Ryan Clark top 10 safety hitter
SEC..IT JUST MATTERS MORE HERE
Sean Taylor killing Brian Moorman lol
The title is suspect 😂
How good were the Hurricanes having Sean Taylor and Ed Reed as their safeties.
What interview is this I can't find it
Pause
Wheres the link to the clip of the hit!?!?
That title is pause
Say what you want Ryan Clark was a menace draped in black air force energy on that field
Yeah he hit anybody he didn't care you better recognize! Go Steelers!
Tiki (NO RING) Barber
Where's the video?
RIP MEAST
Meast(Sear Taylor(rip)) know all about my Buckeyes!! Hold on 2 that 🏈!!
I believe I got to watch the best era of football mid 90s to 2010
Damn I ain’t even know Ryan played for Washington twice
Same Tiki that got over 200 plus yards on that team twice
Was that his first or second 200 yard rushing game against you guys?
My favorite running back tiki barber 💪💪
Tiki lol what a nice name
Ayoooo that title is hella Pause
“Oh, I can do this”. Boss moment that was for him
sean taylor defensive leader
Talk about when Sean Taylor pulled up at the goal line and didn't want to hit Brandon Jacobs.
Title is misleading 🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ryan Clark and Ike Reese both used to try to kill people playing in the same secondary for the Steelers
"Meast" my "Man Beast" 4 the slow 1's!
Tikki????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤔
That caption is ridiculous
Love RC keeps it real 100 at all times
Tiki trucked Taylor thou
Tiki is still alive so
💯💯💯💯
I used to call Ryan Clark the Black Hammer redskins should have never let him leave this coming from a cowboy from Maryland rip Sean Taylor great story
Bro it's only one brother that was really like that on the Steelers his jersey was 43
Got ‘em hehe 🏈💯
😂😂😂
RIP #21.
And here's a fun fact, we let Ryan go to Pittsburgh where he signed for a couple years at 6.5 Mil. Dan Snyder signed Adam Archuleta from the Rams for 5 yrs at 30 Mil. So we could have kept Ryan for what we were paying Adam per year. We cut Archuleta after one year, meanwhile Ryan Clark went to the Steelers and won a Super Bowl.
And this is just one example of the stupidity of the organization
Then people wonder why we can't stand Dan Snyder
Wow... Tiki still taking hits all these years later. Hate to see it. 😉
Listen watch tape on this man right here lol come across that middle playing lol ask Wes Welker lol
Pause ay yo
Pause on the caption
Did he play in Barber’s last game as a Giant ?
Tiki was a fraud. His brother was the truth.
Tiki in his career was always top 5 when he played
@@clocolon357 hell no. He was a fumbling nightmare
@S W not Tom Coughlin got there even with the fumbles he still was 1 of top leading the league in all purpose yards stop the hate
@@clocolon357 he was also an asshole and got his karma after 07 when they won the superbowl right after he retired and all the shit he said about the team that year
