He didn’t want an agent because they Paid 3.5%. He just named his mother his agent so he can give her that money. She wasn’t actually making calls to teams for him she’s not legally allowed to. Only authorized licensed agents and, or players are allowed to speak with teams regarding contracts.. that’s part of the NFLPA guidelines.
