- Designed as an armoured second-skin, the Pando Moto Skin UH03 is a huge step forward in protection, without any additional bulk. These leggings are unisex and now CE level AA approved. They are slimline you'll easily forget you're wearing them, and instead, you can focus on your ride, with no compromise in style nor safety.

I hate how there's no tail bone armor. I know back protectors can extend to the tailbone/coccyx but I'd like the pants to do that. People forget that alot of people go paralyzed from the waist down from landing on there coccyx and that energy destroying there pelvic girdle.
Unless you jump from giant ramps with your motorcycle you should be fine i think. Cant picture a normal fall where you will end up on your tailbone
A crash with a car on an intersection and you turn over yourself. Quite common.
Also, Pando's jackets don't have pockets for chest protectors either protectors either. A must for me.
I've worn these under my regular jeans and I'm desperate to get them off as soon as I can because of how hot and stuffy they get in the summer. They are not very comfortable if you're planning to keep them on and walk around all day when you're off the bike. They will get more use when its colder as a thermal base layer but not worth it over regular single layer motorcycle pants given the price.
I’ve worn these in the summer for a bit, didn’t experience the uncomfortableness you’re mentioning, I’ve even worked out at the gym in these. I guess everyone has different tolerances for heat/comfort so to each their own
Does CE rating test stitching strength or just tests a sample of various materials ?
THANKS KEEP IT UP FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY LOVE KINDNESS
I need to put velcro on the back of my SAS-tech knee armour! However, it does not stick! Can you suggest a suitable solution?
I have the UH1, don't rate the sas tec armour, the fabric backing on my knee armour has cracked...not convinced how it would hold up in a crash.
Is the 03 worth the cost over the 02 on sale?
How long will they last if you are wearing them every day?
Did anyone jump from the bike in those? I would love to see pictures of aftermath.
I never thought about the idea of having the BASE layer as armoured instead of the rest. I mean, it's a good concept sure, but will it protect me fully if I'm just having jeans / cargos over the top? Or should I use this as a "What if" and double up with proper bike jeans etc?
Hi! If you are planning to use them as the only protection we would advise getting the AAA rated ones: www.urbanrider.co.uk/pando-moto-skin-uh-aaa-armoured-leggings-black.html - Iza
Hi, could you tell me what size for a 32” waist but a long 34” leg. I’m concerned that the medium will be too short and the large too loose. Thanks.
Hi, it all depends on the body build too, it might be worth ordering both if possible and trying them on to see what works best and simply return the one that does not fit. More details on our returns can be found here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/help/returns-refunds/ - Iza
Read some where that they are hand wash only, wonder if hand wash cycle on a washing machine will be alright?
Use 30'C for sensitive fabric
i am wearing size 32 jeans, which size should I get? the chart indicated i should get XS which is weird?
Hi Charles, looking at the size guide a 32" waist is a Medium. Hope this helps - Iza
Wear them every day. One log the best pieces of gear I’ve ever owned, hands down.
Right on!
How’s the durability long term?
I’ve had them for almost 6 years and because I commute, I wear them 5-6 days a week plus long trips. Not a single issue so far.
I have last gen, UH 02 and love them. Bought them from Urban Rider and just bought the Knox equivalent, which I love even more. The UH 02 have a weird rating (CE AA in some areas; CE A in others), but the Knox Action Trousers are AA and even better because their armor covers more, and also has the coccyx protection. As for heat v. cold, I live in the Deep South, USA and, like the dude who lives in New Orleans, get the same weather. Are they hot, maybe, but no more so than whatever pants you wear. I'll take the protection any time of year, regardless of the heat or cold. Will you sweat in them? Sure, but that's why God made washing machines.
I love Knox but aren't the Action Pros only class A rated?
Trying to find something I can wear under suit pants, cause sometimes I wanna wear a suit to a thing but I also wanna take the bike.
Also in my experience the Knox pads are slightly bulkier, do they fit under regular clothing okay on the tights? I definitely would struggle getting into a suit jacket with the Urbane Pro top layer on. (I just throw the suit jacket in a bag and change that out when I get where I'm going... But pants are harder to change in public)
Would you recommend these under a standard pair of jeans in warmer weather?
Hi Albert, it's all down to a personal preference if you wish to have another layer underneath! - Iza
Thanks, Iza!
I like the idea of this. My Knox Urban Pro from you hold armour in place too. Wonder how they would be in summer weather?
My question exactky. I’m in New Orleans and it’s already mid 90’s and 90% humidity. I’m already riding around with no jacket and regular jeans and sweating my ass off.
How are the knox in summer ?
@@Fee.1 I live in humid Thailand. My question, too. I reckon mesh pants/jackets are the only alternative.
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o there reached a temperature in midday when I will risk anything to cool off, as long as I’m riding casually. It would be different if I was doing serious riding or something but I can’t justify gear when it’s that hot. I know that’s unpopular but it’s just too damn hot for me
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o don’t you get the new kawasaki 250cc inline 4 in Thailand ?
Is the armor removable?
Yes it is!
Are they designed for warmer or cooler temps though? Like what was their design intent. Please don’t say both I get their usable anytime technically but yea. Just make me a liquid cooled suit like nascar racers wear please I’ll literally pay $1000
Liquid cooled suts? You can already get waistcoats like that.
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o suits*. Yes basically thermal underwear that has small tubes that circulate cold water through them
@@Fee.1 I have a waistcoat that you put water in and which you wear under something else, like a mesh jacket. Don't know how it is in humidity. In Thailand I just weat a mesh jacket but even that leaves me too hot. It's a problem.
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o ah neat I’ll have to look into those
No wee zip...
exactly going for a pee will be a pain
@Omora so leggings means no pee hole, learn something new everyday
@Omora The third leg is not serviced...
I don't buy this idea of using them in warmer and colder temperatures. If they work in the latter, they can't in the former. Not in real heat that comes with real humidity, at least.
It’s how under armor works, that’s just how it is bro, I know it’s weird
@@Firmglint91 It's how it's claimed it works.
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o it works the same as base layers for camping… in fact it’s not the tempature that’s a factor it’s what it does when you wear it, in the summer it’s thin and breathable which keeps you cool, in the winter it’s thin and breathable, which a keeps you from sweating and b “wicks” the sweat away to dry faster keeping you warm… all of your under amour wicking materials do this, that’s the whole point of them, obviously if you walk out side in -0 wearing just that you are going to be cold…
£199.00 for a pair of leggings, which you will still need to pay another £130-£300 or more to cover with trousers 🤔 sorry, I think I'll pass on those thanks.
Isn't the idea of these leggings that you can ware anything over then, like £10 Costco jeans.
@@Yelwas That may be the case but I value my legs too much to entrust their safety to Costco jeans and a rather expensive pair of tights, yet tights non the less.
@@greywolf9292 why dont u trust Costco + Pando?
@@Vjekoslav-vf3hr I got a complete RST Adventure air X suit for around the price of the Pando's. Brilliant mesh trousers and jacket for hot days with thermal waterproof linings for when the weather turns cold and wet. Tights are for Ballet dancers and cyclists.
@@greywolf9292 This is why we have testing methods and ratings. They prove an items worth. You may choose not to trust them - based on your own preconceptions - but being "tights" isn't relevant to their safety rating.
Forgive me; but my crystal ball fell of the counter and broke when I was pouring my second bourbon on ice, so I can't ask it basic questions at this time. I called the repair witch and she can't come by to fix it till next month because of call load.
Is there a pocket for tail bone protection?
If they/tight fitting gear already fits tight, why would I need tight fitting overlay pants?
I'm in my 60's now. I still work out......Anyone can tell, as my forehead is getting bigger (😃🤣). Even though the body appears in shape, it looks just plain weird when an old dude is wearing skinny jeans.
I did play football (football pad pants $25.00) for a number of years in high school, and those tights had pockets which allowed the pads to be removed. We ran around in those things and crashes into each other. A slight readjustment after the play and "bing batta boom" you were ready for the next play. I don't move around that much when riding; so why the permanent pads?
When the body sweats, the urine and acid in the sweat degrades the armor. Why not make the tights to accept different brands of armor that actually fit; just as we have to shop for saddle bag racks. After a hot ride, we can remove our armor and wash it down in a sink, and wash machine or hand wash the tights. Not a hard concept......But I guess the motorcycle armor business is here to make a killing off us.
I imagine if you wanted to really be detailed, you could rinse your armor in water, mix some baking soda and water in a plastic dish and rinse it again to dissolve the body acid.
This product is a great concept. But I wouldn't ever want to end up in prison and have to shower with a bunch of ****** who want to violate me. The life span of a spandex garment with sewn in motorcycle body armor is three years!!!!!!! Wow: that's getting violated. Bullet proof armor is good for five years.
I'll buy riding jeans and when having a beer at the end of a ride in a campground or hotel area, I'll just remove the armor. not a big deal after spending four years in the infantry breaking down tactical gear and reconfiguring it for the next mission while tired and in the field.
I'll stick to riding jeans with armor. So much for using the tights with armor under my already loose fitting old fart jeans.

Hi, no tail bone pocket unfortunately. Not completely spandex which is a polyether-polyurea copolymer but this is I believe 65% UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) for the abrasion parts and is good to five years like your bullet proof vest (Although company only does two year warranty), not sewn in armor. The armor is replaceable, and you can take them out if you choose to at any time to replace or clean just like motorcycle jeans. I like you would trust a good pair of riding jeans over this, but I do like the concept of being able to wear anything you want for just the cost on this one purchase. They even have aaa rated set so any pants can be worn over top and you are still protected. You can also have the armor tight to you and know its in the right place without looking like you are wearing skinny jeans.
