    Super Simple Peanut Butter Cookies with Chocolate Hearts-
    1C Peanut Butter 1/2C sugar 1 egg 12 chocolate hearts
    Preheat oven 325.
    Mix ingredients well. Grease a cookie sheet. Place by tablespoon leaving 1"-2" apart. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Immediately after removing from the oven add the chocolate hearts and wait a few minutes then move to cooling rack.
    RED HEART COOKIES: 1/2C AP flour 1 tsp cream of tartar
    1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda pinch of salt
    1/2C room temp. butter 3/4C sugar 1 lg egg
    2 tsp vanilla 1/4 C red hearts crushed 1/2C Powdered sugar
    Preheat oven 350. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper. Set aside.
    In medium bowl mix flour, cream of tartar, B powder, B soda and salt.
    In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar till fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture 1/2 C at a time mixing very well. Then add in the crushed cinnamon hearts.
    Place the powdered sugar on a plate. Roll 1 tablespoon of dough into a ball and coat in powdered sugar, place on cookie sheet leaving about 2" apart. They will spread out.
    Bake 8-10 minutes. Cookies will not brown and may not look cooked but they will harden as they cool. Let them rest 5 minutes. (optional - add more hearts at this point - lightly pressing) Then transfer to a cooling rack. Do not let them completely cool on the baking sheet, they stick pretty bad.
    CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - HEART SHAPED
    2 1/4C AP flour 1 tsp Baking soda 3/4 tsp salt
    1C room temp butter 1/2C packed brown sugar 1/2C sugar
    2 tsp vanilla 2 room temp eggs 1 1/2C choc chips
    optional - sprinkles
    Preheat oven 350. Spray 2 cookie sheets.
    In a medium bowl combine the flour, salt and baking soda.
    In a large bowl using an electric mixer to cream butter and both sugars - till fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
    Gradually add in the flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
    Scoop about 2 tablespoon of dough onto the baking sheet, keeping 2"-3" apart - keeping in mind the size of your heart cookie cutter. You should flatten these down with a fork.
    Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cook till the edges are slightly brown but the insides are still slightly soft. Immediately after removing from oven cut out your cookies. Place them on a cooling rack.

    Thanks for sharing all these recipes - they look so good. I especially want to try the peanut butter cookies to take to a work potluck. ❤
