After seeing all the negativity, I stood and watched until the end and I appreciate her wisdom as a Baker! Baking is an Art and we learn from hearing from experience, She gives golden advice and as a Detail person that I am, I learned how and why this makes a great Cookie ❤ Thank you Anna 😊
I can’t get enough of her television show and happy I stumbled upon her own you tube channel.
Whoa! You were standing 36 minutes and 25 seconds for this? I said forget that, I'm sitting to even push play.
I am a life time baker. I learned a lot from you Anna and I have been making this recipe for years! This recipe consistently bakes perfect!!! Thank you! Thank you 🙏
I just made these and they are the best chocolate chip cookies ever! Just the way you described, with crisp edges and chewy centers. I baked half at room temperature at 375° and half chilled at 325° and both batches were really good. I weighed 1 1/4 cups of sifted all-purpose flour and it weighed 140 grams. Thanks a million for the great recipe and very helpful video.
I’ve made these cookies 2 times now. It’s everyone’s favorite. I love the recipe. I made a double batch, sending some to my nephew. Thank you
I searched for years and years for a good chocolate chip recipe - several years ago, I found this one - as my baking has evolved - I pretty much throw everything and almost including the kitchen sink into this recipe - I get a LOT of requests for this cookie - mainly from my marathon runner friends and the hospital group I bake for. Just a couple of weeks ago, I switched them up and made the recipe to cut out cookies - all I can say is WOWZA, if you want a good base recipe to build upon - this one is it!! In 2018 - I baked almost 500 for a family 5k put on by my local gym. The best comment I heard, what bakery did these come from!!

Thank you for this very thoroughly instructed video. I’m going to make some of these cookies this weekend .😊
It's lovely to watch the replay of your baking. I have been using your chocolate chip recipe since covid and the cookies turned out perfectly every time! I am going to order your recipe book and pour over all the recipes!
Try Anna’s coffee cake 😋 so good !
I remember you from years ago when you had an independent channel not affiliated with Food Network. I remember when you had a bakery, a small store, etc. and you also did work with local culinary colleges in your area. So happy to see you again. Your recipes are just fantastic!
Classic indeed Anna thank you so much God bless nd your family
Anna, Thank you for this amazing video. I have learned so much. My mother was an amazing Cook and Baker. I was always in the kitchen with her and cleaned up for her, but never watched her which I regret to this day😢I see how you work in the kitchen is very much like how she was without the explanations. The explanations are so helpful. Also, I noticed your vintage decor I have those same pieces but packed away. Now I know exactly what I can do with them. It’s beautiful the way you have chosen to display them! Thank you again for all the new information! Cannot wait to bake your recipe with all your great tips 😋
Wonderful baking session. Sadly, I missed the live version (meant to put the date in my calendar), but thoroughly enjoyed this replay. I'm going to try your recipe tomorrow. I have baked your Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars, which had cornstarch as an ingredient, and it was a fabulous recipe - as are all of your recipes.
Hi, I haven't tried these yet but wanted to say how much I enjoyed the information you gave along with the recipe, about convection oven temp, when to use glass vs ceramic pans, etc. I was surprised about the cookie dough info and you cleared up the baking soda vs baking powder mystery for me. Maybe these were not the best examples, but I thought refrigerating the dough would keep the cookie more mounded, ''less spreading'', but yours seemed to do the opposite so I'm still confused about that, lol.
I learn my chocolaté chips cookies on her 😍 thank you!
I make it big and chunky my husband love it and my co-worker.
From Washington State . Glad I found you my chocolate chip cookies have always failed can’t wait to try this thank you. All my other cookies are great.
U r superlative Anna. So clear and precise. Tried this for my cookie exchange years back from your you tube n they turned out delicious❤
Thank you for the good tip of putting the cookies in the refrigerator for 1 hour. And your cookies look delicious 😋. 🙏🏽👍🏾
I enjoyed it thank you for sharing can't wait to try them God bless❤
Best chocolate chip cookie! Just made them tonight! So chewy in center yet crispy outside. This is great!
I am watching you Ana from Australia .I lived in Toronto Ontario for long time. I miss Canada. I just made the cookies today. They're yummy 😋
First time watcher 😊 👍 Thank you for showing us this recipe. I have always cooked my butter.
I love anything Anna makes 🍰
Super yummy
Her chocolate cake recipe is the best
Thank you for explaining oven temps. I don’t have a fan oven and always have to google for each recipe lol for the conversions. 👍 greetings from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you for sharing your recipe! I tried it and it's so delicious ✨
Love from Sri Lanka❤️
Are the best cookies I ever cooked thanks Anna you are my first favorite chef 🧑🍳 when I was young 💕.
I could never seem to get the right consistency of the chocolate chip cookie dough and so I stopped making them. But now I’m going to finally try your recipe and secret ingredients and see if I can finally fall in love with chocolate chips cookies. I’ll let you know! …..Off to the kitchen!
Happy Baking! 🍪
This recipe was great! The only problem is my cookies always come out flat and I followed the precise recipe. I think next time I may go back to semi sweet chips. This recipe had so much melted chocolate in the cookie I would use less and go back to semi sweet.
Hi ma'am, I am very much impressed from ur baking videos sp ur tips n techniques Watch this recipe of urs n it appealed so much that my children ask me to bake soon
In some recipes only brown sugar in powder form is used I've tried n after baking for 10 minutes n even after cooling they r very soft ndo not hold the shape nor crispy on the edges kindly comment on this issue Thanks
Have u ever tried brown butter it gives it a fantastic flavor! Never heard of those chips u mentioned so I used Ghiradelli bittersweet. Thank u for the recipe ❤️
I made your cookies and my family loved them thanks 😊

Hello Miss Anna, been following since AFC!# Good to see you!#
I'm new on your channel and I already love watching you. The cookies looks delicious 😋 wish I was there to taste it😊. Thanks for sharing your famous recipe. Love it❤❤❤❤ I will definitely try to make them.
Thank you! I’ll be making this week!
Recipe works great. Thanks Anna!
I love all your recipes Anna.
I LOVE your chocolate chip cookie recipe! It's great! I have a general question re: flat cookies, though. I have a snickerdoodle recipe that calls for 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup of shortening, both to be creamed w/ 1 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 eggs. It calls for 2 3/4 cup of AP flour and 2 tsp of baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt. The b. soda IS good...I checked it. I used room temp cookie sheets and chilled the dough but the cookies came out very flat, perhaps 1/8" thick. Why are they so flat? Do I need more flour or less sugar or both? Any help you could offer would be great! Thanks.
I made these 2 slightly different ways, did 1 batch exactly as recipe and instruction , did a 2nd batch but was out of chocolate chips, but I had a large tub of raisins so made them with raisins, everybody loved both.
It would be really nice to have the recipe below so that one can take a screen shot and then go bake 🎉❤
It does look like they have linked the recipe in the info box. You could screenshot from there😉
@@Madeline_LAUGH5 hi there yes I've seen numerous links below but it becomes too. much of a hassle to try find the damn recipe like that.😉 I prefer to follow others that have their recipes below the UA-cam video, simpler and more reasonable to follow

Nice to see you here!
I can't wait to try this recipe. I'll let you know how they turn out. Thank you! Can you tell me what the flour weight in grams would be? Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I LOVE MY CANADIAN FAMILY!!!!
Thank you, I will try this recipe😊
Thank you for sharing.nice video
Thank you for the vegan tips!!
I never seem to have unsalted butter on hand when I want to “spontaneously” bake! If I must use salted butter, should I leave out the small amount of salt called for in this, or any other, cookie recipe? Thank you!
I love Anna! She is amazing!
Thank you
I love your recipes
Thanks again
Good morning it is Match 25 full Worm moon. I share this video with my friends and Facebook family ; because is so ❤ great explanation.
All your information is well appreciated. It is fantastic way to learn. Thank you so much Anna ❤ I do love your explanations because my cooking always work . Never felt! Your recipes are amazing.
Could you please teach a way to use a flour for pies and empanada like meat pies . Varios way to use a flour masa. Thank you . ❤
Ana absolutely love you! Love your recipes! This is one I have made for so long and is a favorite in my house
Can I leave the cookie dough in the fridge longer as in making the dough a couple of days before thanks
The knowledge based approach used by Anna is geared for you to understand why you do what you do at every stage of her recipes. It is knowledge and technique based. You will be a better baker at the end of the day.
Wow good afternoon I always want to know how to make chocolate cookies thanks
Lots of Information - An Education - Thank You!! Excellent Video
I tried this recepy already like 5 times and every time the cookies were just a bit better that the previous time I did them. Finally I realized what I was doing wrong! I saw a tip in another recepy book, with photos, one of the photos showed very flat cookies, saying that the butter was to soft if they turn out super flat. If they are too hard, then you out too much flour. Today, I think I finally got them right. I think the unique thing about this recipe is the corn starch.
My lesson of today was to take the butter and egg out of the fridge so they are really room temperature! Also, put them in the fridge fornat least 1 hour, they will be even better
Hi I'm watching from Galway Ireland, looking forward to making theses tonight.
I thought I was at the complaint department …
wow!!!
Lol Great recipe and video . Thanks for sharing 🎃
I wish she would come back to Food Network. I haven't watched it lately but I saw her there years ago 😊
Can't wait to try this recipe..Please share metric measurements of this recipe. Many thanks
I’m late to the party but have to say thanks for sharing & showing us your secrets to make these perfectly!
What temperature would you cook them from frozen and for how long? X
Which are your other classic recipes ? Big big fan of all your recipes 😊

Mrs. Olson could you please do a basic sugar cookie recipe please and thank you
Hai ...I am from INDONESIA thanks for delicious cookies.
Hello Anna it has been a long time since your days on PBS cooking channels. You are looking well. Thanks for the classic recipe.
I was surprised by how different the two batches of cookies looked. I normally bake my cookies at 375 after chilling them in the refrigerator for an hour. However, I'm going to try 325 and see if I can get that same consistency.
325 did not produce good results for mine, keep in mind that altitude plays a factor which most UA-cam baker's don't discuss
Watching from Philippines and i wanna try your recipe
Nice to see you back on ytube
Hi ANNA, I'm Rhea Vallar from the Philippines, I'm your fan!
Going to make them right now❤
How long did you say to bake the cookies...
Awesome❤
Why isn't the recipe printable on the website?
will there be an effect if i use the whole sugar w brown sugar only?
I have NEVER seen so many whiners & complainers! It's no surprise most of them can't make a cookie! 😜 Sorry you have to read them! Thank you for the lovely video & the recipe. Nice job & great instruction! God bless!♥️
chocolato chip cookies yummy i like cooking very good,,,,
Hello from Edith in Australia 🇦🇺
It would be awesome 1) to have a print version of the recipe when following your link and 2) have the gram measurements... This way I wouldn't have to watch the loooong video all over again to listen to those infos. Other than that, the cookies have turned out great. Thank you for this recipe!
This woman is stacked. 😮❤

My all time baker
Oddly, the recipe linked doesn't match the video instructions. In print it reads 325*F but video stated 375*F and bake 15-18 mins versus 8 mins, respectively.
What size egg do you use: Large/jumbo?
I went straight to the recipe, saw it was in cups and was going to dismiss it. However I had a quick look and hey you gave the measures in grams too. That is except for the flour, the answer to that was given in the comments (thank you for that) What is the point of giving some of the measures in grms if not all?
How often do u bake?
I've been making ccc for 50 yrs. This is the only recipe you need. That 1 T of cornstarch makes all the diff.
Do yours turn out flat?
@@robinedenshaw8589 Mine turned out very flat, and I followed the recipe exactly! They taste good but I find them too greasy so won't be making them again.
Thank you for explaining why the egg needs to be room temp. It makes sense
Wow yummy god bless.
Hi, I would like to ask you expert advice in making almond cluster.
Having problems placing it under room temperature, it will became moist and wet in 10 minutes.
What is the secrets of making almond cluster?
Thank you.
Por favor, por favor...!! en gramos cuanto es una taza..???
Can I use my KitchenAide with the paddle attachment to make these cookies - find it difficult to mix by hand since I broke my hand TIA
I'm 60 I've always eaten raw cookie dough and cake batter with no ill effects. It was just done back in the day. The first time I saw the warning on a box of cake mix I laughed.
It would be good if you could list measurements of the ingredients below all your videos.
