    Awesome video! Nice change of a pace of straight asmr. Didn’t mind it at all and thank you for bringing us another awesome video! I can’t wait to get up there and do some overlanding! Couple months hopefully!

      Great to know and I will def be including more talking moving forward. Seems like everyone is agreeing that a mixture of both is great.
      Thanks for the support!

    I have the Utah bug now. My cooking claim to fame is simply that I can open a cracked egg with one hand…..but I failed at grocery shopping because the gas station didn’t have jalapeños lol

    Great content. I really enjoyed the combination of talking and ASMR, over straight ASMR. Bryon and I just sold our smart cap and upgraded to a four wheel camper - Hawk. Looking forward to exploring places outside of Montana. (Although Montana will always be my ❤😊)

      The 4WC are legit! Did you do a full slide in type?

      @@hunter_pauley yes, we bought a Hawk. We ordered it completely built out how we wanted it along with solar and battery back up. We are super happy with it. Functionality and quality are better then we even expected. It’s great to have the simplicity of not towing a trailer or being top heavy with a larger camper but still having much of the comfort.

    I had to laugh at 2:08. The first thing I did was bust out the brush for for every door and cabinet hatches. That talc dust got in every nook and cranny. I have that firepit and it works great. I also bought a 3 x 3 fire retardant mat to put under it. The one that came with it sucks and is cheesy. You're lucky they lifted the fire restrictions. When I went I had to get a Ignik propane firepit-which worked ok. But I hauled a bunch of wood from Idaho to Utah. Doh! When the wind stopped and it was calm it was sooo quiet. I could hear the dogs running through the sage 50 yards away. The weather was bi-polar. I drove all day in snow, then had rain and wind, then sunshine. I planned for winter (yes, I checked my weather app and it said Winter) and would have killed for shorts, t-shirt, and my flip flops! Oh man, what a stellar video!

    • @hunter_pauley
      @hunter_pauley  2 місяці тому

      The dust is something else down here! Not like the normal dust from the dirt roads in Montana for sure lol. It gets into EVERYTHING. Truck is going to need a very deep and extensive deep clean once I get back home.
      Man that would have sucked with the wood. It's crazy to see in Moab how much wood is for sale. Literally pallets of it sitting in front of the gas stations haha.
      The weather and temperature swing is wild in the desert. I mean during the day I can be in shorts and tank top but the heat just disappears at night. I go to bed not needed the diesel heater and then at 2am am freezing if I didn't turn it on or turned it off.

    I am literally sitting here watching this beautiful video right now as I write this! I love your channel. I ask you a few days ago where you lived in Montana. Don’t know if you remember. You said your headed to Kalispell in May!
    You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. Have you ever camped in Glacier? It’s gorgeous! I have to say I was getting nervous watching your adorable dog running around by the cliff😳! 😂😂. Glad you’re enjoying Utah! Be safe out there! Loved your quote at the end. So very true! 🙏🏽❤️

      Yes, I will be moving to Kalispell come May and am so excited to be closer to Glacier for camping. I spent way too much time there last year and expect it be nothing less this year especially being closer!

    Are you still running your full bedrug with the recent goose gear install?

    • @hunter_pauley
      @hunter_pauley  2 місяці тому

      Just the side portion. The bottom and sides unzip from each other. Wanted the sides for the insulation effect especially during winter.

    Is your light bar on top of the Tacoma loud in the wind?
    I’ve been wanting to put one on my Tacoma but the guys over at dirt king kinda scared me with the wind. What’s your take on it? Is it minimal? Bad? High speeds?

    • @hunter_pauley
      @hunter_pauley  2 місяці тому

      Don't notice it at all without the wind fairing. The loudest rack or wind noise I ever had was with my old UpTop rack. That thing was horrible for wind noise and vibrations. I mean I have bigger RT tires and the tacoma isn't exactly "quiet" to being with either but didn't notice any difference after the SS5 light bar install.

    • @kurtburrows_no28
      @kurtburrows_no28 2 місяці тому

      That’s awesome to hear. I love the way it looks, so I was thinking a prinsu rack with the Baja designs 7 pods, similar to your look. What wind fairing did you get?
