@Missable Content I'm a long-time GOW player. I got the first demo of GOW on PS2 in a gaming magazine. I couldn't stop playing the demo, so i had to get the full game. over the summer, I beat it on God mode, and then pre ordered GOW II on PS2. I also still have a PSP demo that came with a little golden Omega symbol for a necklace or keychain. But for some reason, I bought GOW in 2018 for PS4. I played it for a few days and never finished the story. Years passed by until recently. I didn't learn until last year that you actually get the blades of chaos back in this game, and looking back, I think that's why I quit playing. It didn't feel the same to me. So fast forward. I learned that you do indeed get the blades back but in a more grounded game engine. Ragnarok came out at the same time I learned all this. And details in the new Ragnarok title was getting spoiled for me by UA-cam thumbnails. So I dug into my games. I found my copy of GOW PS4. Wiped the dust off the cover as the ghost of my 14 year old self stares at me, screaming! Why haven't you beat God of War on a PLAYSTATION 4 YET! we couldn't even DREAM of a PS4 back then. What is your problem? I would do anything to travel to the future and play God of War on a PS4 that is 2 generations ahead of my time! What are you doing!!! So I set out on my own journey. I got all the realm tears, I beat all of the valkryies. I got all of odins ravens, I wanted to do everything I possibly could do before starting New Game +. But I also had a timer with Ragnarok. I am almost ready to start the Give me God of War on NG+, but I have to also now beat Ragnarok on balance mode too. I love this journey so far, along with my own personal journey of just being a God at a game once again. Beating the original on God mode has always given me motivation for defeating all of life's problems, I can always tell myself, you beat God of war on God mode, this can't be that hard. So I feel like I need to prove this to myself once again, but in the modern age.
I kill the enemies and edit them out when I make tutorial videos because they are location guides, not gameplay videos. When people search and look for tutorials like this they want to find items, not watch people killing enemies for 20 minutes. I also add timestamps so people can find what they're looking for faster.

Sorry for the late reply, the alfheim realm tower counts as shores of the nine. I just named it that because it where the realm tear is within shores of the nine.
This is kind of explained in GoW ragnarok. Garm the giant wolf and Nidhodd the Yggdrasil world tree protector both have the ability to open up hole or tears o travel between realms. I'm guessing these 2 creatures and many others have a similar ability that over time has created this tears, a space between realms.
That's odd you're the first to say that, the only thing that's possibly different is i'm in new game plus, but i'm 99% sure that makes no difference, nothing gets added to new game plus apart from some sets of armor. It sounds like it's just bugged out. Sorry to hear.

@@Done-qq5le It's very worth doing another playthough, I've done about 6 in total. first playthough, Hardest difficulty, ps4, ps5 upgrade, new game plus for the new armor sets, and more. I love the game.

@@ethanasmr4728 Honestly you want to do at least 1x new game plus, because some of the epic purple gear you get have upgraded versions. They are red and have higher stats then the purple versions.

I made a video of the pommel too, if you didnt know here is the link to it ua-cam.com/video/bNj2Ku57iek/v-deo.html The best advise I can give you is to try my best to explain how it works. if you've played it 10x then you probably know there's a gong sound half way through the secret pommel code. That mid-gong sound is a timed checkpoint, meaning you have about 30 seconds to do the second code. think of it as 2 codes, not one. basically do the first code until you hear the gong, this code is pretty easy, then you can try the second code 3 or 4 times in quick succession. the second code is much harder to get. if you don't do it in 30 seconds you need to redo the first code again.

Had to do 13 and 14 in a new game+ for my 100%. Was worth it I love this game.

I literally opened realm tear in thamur's corpse, but It didn't save and now I can't get 100% -_-
NG+ is still an option. Well worth a second playthough harder enemes, better loot etc. I've done atleast 5 playthoughs.

I need to know these realm tear holes. Are they like the black holes from space where they suck in anything big or small or is it something else?

Yes, these 2 realm tears at Thors hammer are the only 2 items that are missable in the entire game.
