It's always good to see granddad
"The blues is the truth. If it's not the truth it's not the blues."
- Willie Dixon
Why give thumbs down? These are individuals with, no understanding of what it is to be human. Music brings us together , it's in our soul and thru the universe.
Amen to that
4get the haters, not worth the powder!
Lurrie Bell and Billy Branch are still on the scene and better than ever.
I became obsessed with the blues for the harmonica ❤

Thank you so much for posting this. Bombay Carter is my father in law. I never got to meet him before he passed away. His son told me all about his music while he was growing up but I never knew just how good he was.

lurrie bell blows my skull! nuff said
hell yessssss!
After Led Zeppelin called it quits Willie was still doing it better. Too bad about the racial and cultural divisions.
Hot damn!
This is the mid-70's- still the height of the Cold War....notice the big quiet when Dixon first rips into the chorus of "Berlin Wall". The crowd probly didn't know quite what would be the most "Politically Correct" way to react!
That unidentified instrumental by Mervyn 'Harmonica' Hinds sounds like an instrumental version of Little Walter's Crazy Mixed Up World.
WHY oh WHY did James Kinds' performance get cut off just as he was starting to wail? What the actual ****? What a damn shame.

Willie Dixon's Lyrics describes so called Black Folks of America aka the Tribe of Judah descendant to slavery. He's singing the blues of Israelites. This music is part of the soul and sound of Judah & Israel.
