- During this period of extreme heat I’ve been working for around 30 minutes and cooling for 15 minutes, along with staying hydrated.
I worked in the heat, outside for 14 years so I’m no stranger to staying safe. But, I ain’t getting any younger.
It’s the welding and grinding…frustration and engineering on the go, in real time that amplified the heat. When I’m sitting around riveting beside the fan it’s not nearly as bad.
I’ll be so happy once this canopy is done. This project is essentially building a B-36 canopy…..

Raining here today in Syracuse - yesterday and today not bad weatherwise. The week before last we had 3 days of 90+ as well as a couple at 88. I don't like summers anymore and we don't get anywhere near the amount of snow we used to get up here. I only used my snowblower once this past winter. It has been cooling down at night here, I've only got a portable AC in my bedroom, but I also have a whole house fan, which when it's cool at night, I'll turn it on. Got down into the 50s a couple nights ago, my kind of night. Keep cool!!! BTW, I'll be helping you some more in the future (appreciate the mention in this video), but this past week I had some plumbing work done to the tune of a bit over $7K. I have on question - do you get 100% of the $ when someone donates via YT direct, or is the GoFundMe better, or have you thought of PayPal - because there you get 100%. BTW, dogs don't sweat - they pant (sorry, couldn't resist that). I HATE humidity and when it's like it's getting to be so many summers, I sweat like a pig (and I just googled, they don't sweat either - I'll have to find some other animal 🤣🤣🤣).
I was big into learning about UA-cam payments a few months ago, but I have forgotten the specifics. I can’t recall if they take a set fee or it’s based on the category the video is. I believe they take 25% but I could be dead wrong.
So would the next bulkhead contain the tunnel entrance. If so that would be a logical stopping point.
That’s bulkhead 4.0. That’s six feet aft of 3.0. I’m considering it….
