Brings me so much joy to see a Challenger owner track their car and not just on a quarter mile straight. I don't like it when people talk bad about these cars saying their boats, they're too heavy, or they don't belong on circuit track. Clearly this video shows otherwise. This is awesome keep doing what you do!! 👍
“Boats” is the stupidest moniker for these car imo. These cars corner. Boats (aka any full-size american sedan before 2000) don’t corner - they “list”.
Awesome driving! Most people don't know that the Scatpack Widebody actually comes with a unique suspension all it's own. It's not just a regular Scatpack with big fenders and tires. It has the highest rate springs of any Challenger made. As well as larger sway bars, specially tuned Bilsteins, 6 piston Brembos, 305 mm tires all around and more! This is why I bought mine.
@@twin_2339 2019 and up T/A's have regular suspension, pre-2019 T/A's actually had some tricked out racing suspension. A 2018 T/A is about the best handling Challenger from the factory that you'll ever get.
@@lclnbm This is not true. The Scatpack widebody Challenger does indeed have a unique suspension tune that's set up to make the car more neutral at the limit.
Social media has ruined people’s perception that Challengers and Chargers can’t turn but I’ve Autocross’d my Charger Hellcat (narrow body) and I almost ran a faster time than my buddy in his Porsche 911 (older year)….he was surprised when I took for a ride in it as well. These cars are highly slept on
This really started with top gear uk. I'm surprised American manufacturers haven't sued them into oblivion for the damage shows like that caused. As for track times, the Camaro ZL1 did the nurburgring in 07:16, the Shelby GT350 in 07:32, and the Hellcat Challenger only has a rumored time of 07:50, which is not official. I highly doubt the most powerful car out of the 3 would be that much slower, theres something going on there. Either way all of these times are faster than ferraris, lamborghinis, porsches, top end mercedes, paganis, and etc. The people saying American can't turn have no clue about cars and therefore have no valid opinion to begin with.
As a widebody scat owner myself I can say, people underestimate these cars on tracks and on curvy back roads. Sure they are heavy. But they carry their weight well.
I’m trying to tell people the Scatpack Widebody handles pretty good for a car of its caliber. I’ve owned R32 and R33 Skyline GTRs for the past 4 years but I get way more excited in my Scatpack Widebody

I really want a scat pack wide body over the hellcat because it seems like the scat has the perfect amount of power for the street while also being able to handle a road course. Hellcats look like such a chore on the track will all that power. Also Shaker Hood on the scat is the way to go
