    This video brought me into tears. I had numerous postpartum complications and that did not even give me a chance to have a full supply. I kept pumping everyday to keep the door open till we found out that my daughter is allergic to cow milk based formula. As a parent, I wish to give her the best I can provide. I would love to increase my supply.

      @@Developers_struggles I researched what little info was out there, got told I was stupid by the lactation consultants who never heard of such a thing, and made a plan and stuck to it. I pumped 8x a day. 3 of those pumps were my night time pumps 11pm, 2am, 6am which I power pumped at those hours. Hi there. Not sure if you haven't done so eat more oat meal. And drink alot of water. That's been helping me. And lactation brownies you can purchase and protein bars with alot of fiber in it . This might be weird but take your haka bottle pump in the shower and start massaging your boobs, the warm water helps. And doing those boob massages they teach you in the hospital helps to get that tissue and hormones flowing. Also your prenatal which I stopped but now getting back on I wasn't notified to keep taking them after pregnancy 😭 the struggle I'm having is waking up ever 2 hours 😩 but hey it comes with the territory and helps your baby in the long run which I'm willing to do.

    I have never breastfed. I was pregnant and lost the baby twice though…. My best friend who lives next door just gave birth to her second baby and I hold this newborn for hours every single day. And I’m getting droplets after holding the newborn. This happened to me after her first born child as well. We both wonder if I could potentially produce an actual milk supply if I pumped😂. She seems to be joking about it, but serious at the same time since her production is low and formula is nowhere to be found.

    Hi, really appreciate this video. Very informative. I was wondering if you have ever come across moms who lactate(drops) 2 years past breastfeeding their baby?
    My last two babies I would produce drops long after “drying up”.
    We are getting ready to adopt a newborn and it crossed my mind maybe I can relactate?
    My question would be, because I’m still seeing drops every now and then, do I have as good of a chance at relactating as someone who is 2 months or a few weeks dry?

    • @NewLittleLife
      @NewLittleLife  Рік тому

      Give it a try! The longer amount of time you have previously lactated is in your favor! The longer time since you last breastfed isn’t, but I think you could definitely get some milk going if you were up for the challenge! Maybe not a full supply, but perhaps! There are some medications your doc can prescribe if you want to explore the pros and cons of that as well :) congratulations on your upcoming adoption!
