This is a great video and would not have been able to install the LEDs without this. By far the trickiest issue is removal of the old bulbs - they are tight and you must put significant pulling pressure while gently rocking it. It took my 2-3 minutes of that pressure to remove the old bulb. Once that was done, it was plug in and screw the bulb into the holder, and done!
Boy oh boy! I just ordered this for my GLS and had Mr Tire install them for me- The Manager had to come ask where I got the bulbs from- They are super bright and Excellent. Great upgrade from those ridiculous Stock halogen bulbs
Beware that even their new Mercedes Benz custom model reportedly does not fit the dust cover of the displayed MB model or my GLE 350. Smaller LEDs do fit, but you have to use a generic retainer adapter, which I got to work but took some time. I hope Lasfit comes out with a MB dust cover or a better fitting LED for the MB. I used the Aukee H7 LED Bulbs, 50W 6000K 10000 Lumens with success. The dust cover fit back on no problem. However, I don't love the beam pattern. It seems to have some dark spots. I may have to spin it a bit more or that LED may just not work well in this projector housing. I tried to align the Aukee vertically in the housing with the LED at 3 and 9.
@@jimmynguyen5024 Yes, I have kept the Aukee H7 bulbs installed for the low beams. I did replace the high beams with the LASFIT LEDs. They worked fine. I also ordered the LASFIT LEDs for the low beams and a set of generic covers that are deeper to accomodate the larger Lasfit in the low beams, but I have not installed them. My wife has been satisfied with the Aukee in the low beams. I did add supplemental LED lighting low on the front bumper from Nilight. These work well for fog and off road, but I have not liked the lack of a clean cut off line on these supplemental 6.5 inch LED light bars. Also, check your area's laws regarding supplemental lighting systems.

I ordered and installed Lasfit LED on my 2018 GLE. Light is great. Nice and bright. But I am struggling with Dust Covers because the OEM don't fit and the one's provided by Lasfit the stupid cheap rubber don't fit in properly either. Headlights get foggy in rain or after a wash because moisture and water traps in. They need to make solid quality plastic dust covers. Disappointing
@malcolmechaluce Hello, for different vehicles/models, the headlight housing space/structure is different. The same LED bulb size is compatible with some different models. For few models, the OEM headlight housing is very small that the dust cover can't be put back on after installing LED bulbs. You could drill a hole on it that the LED bulb could through it. @malcolmechaluce its very disappointing that they sold a light but no fitting dust cover. Why would I drill a hole through it so that water could seep into the headlight and screw it up. Whats the point of dust cover then ? I am still using the cheap rubber dust cover with tape around it but it's not holding up. It sucks

Installed today in my gle 350 2018 but the dust cover is not the correct one. Its round and oval is it supposed to go inside or outside the outside circle

Did you end up keeping the aukee? I have a gle 350 also and im trying to upgrade my halogens to led also.

after installing the bulb with gle 350 2018 dust cover do not fit. Without dist cover it can damage the light causing it moist.

very well in my ML 400. The LASFIT 921 LED Bulb Reverse Light in 6000K White blinks a 3-4 times in reverse and then stays white until I put in drive. There is also a warning error in my dash that states “backlight.” How would I fix the blinking issue and warning error?

@@lasfitvehiclelife when I first installed the reverse lights, it was blinking 3-4 times, then it become solid white, however, it continues to blink every time I put the vehicle in reverse. There is also an error code in my front dash board that says “back light.”
dust cover is definitely be needed to prevent moisture and, you guessed it. dust.

Does your car have LED daytime running light on the bottom? Does these headlights flicker after a couple minutes of running because mine does.
Will these work on a 2011 C300 with LED daytime running lights? I tried to put some Led lights in my car from another manufacturer but it would start to flicker 2 minutes of it running.

Guys be careful. Almost every aftermarket bulbs. We have replaced for customers. Has. Burned out. Original wiring. Aftermarket runs hotter. And melting Wiring and any plastic. Close to bulb. !!!! Mercedes and bmws.
Dude it's all wrong you have to install an H7 with no fan,that dust cover HAS to go back on!!!!!!!you'll have all types insects and humidity getting in the housing....

The bulb retainer is poorly designed. It is too complicated and makes it difficult to put it back into the headlight. Toyota has a much simpler and easier design. The Germans always over engineer and over complicates things that don’t need to be.

You forgot to center the bulb correctly. On a projector lens, if the bulb is not properly centered, the beam pattern will not be right. The most important step. Otherwise, why upgrade to LEDs if the beam pattern is not wide and right.
