I see a lot of folks bashing on Ethan here. Anonymous poker 'experts'. Ethan does make some bad plays. He also makes some good plays. He has a couple of rings from WSOP, and he has done well in a few other tournaments as well and that is better than most of us. Tournament poker is a mixture of luck and skill. Sometimes, you have a take a chance. You try and limit those chances and to take the ones that lean towards you, but you do have to take that chance sometimes if you want to win. I have won a few smaller tournaments. You don't win by always having the best hand.
His vlogs are honest. We all get to see the bad choices that most of us would edit out if we were vlogging it....lol. There is a difference between giving him feedback and just being a d***. Some of you are being d's.
And even if he does not play perfect GTO poker, his style works for him overall. His wildness gets him paid off when he does have a big hand. IMO, his weakest spot is not tournaments, it is high stakes cash on a stream. I think he feels like he has to put on a show when it is being streamed and it frequently costs him dearly.

IMO, that kinda play is what has made him wild and successful at cash, but likely crushed his bankroll for the wsop. Over the long run, those moves will catch up. It's fun to see him suck out, and I appreciate the bold moves, but when you put your tourney/bankroll at risk when truly questionable at best...Oh well. He'll make the $10k back on this vlog alone...likely.

Good luck on the next run.....keep your head up..you did kind!and of Good..even if the AT call was kinda pushing iy..after losing the first all in to A9

To be honest, I would have felt far more comfortable shoving with QJ off than A6 off. Being so close to the money and going out sucks, but you could have gone out with no bounties and been stuck $10K. Only being down $1000 in that scenario is pretty close to a 'win' IMO

Exactly, id do the same and wouldnt go all in with A6... as i said in a previous comment ive witnessed QJ beat stronger hands so many times while Pocket Ks lose more often..

On balance it's worth sometimes waiting even with 6 blinds... Maybe

When you had the ace 6 you had a straight and when he had ace jack it looked like he flopped the nut flush

Ethan, if it was on ACR. You definitely would of saw a 9 or 96% of the time an Ace on the river for sure with that set of 6's three way all in.

It really was better than what you been doing now that you have your card holder I think it helped a little bit build a little more confidence anyway 👍

A couple of pips? Playing the currency market too? High variance is good but you must have proper sizing. I might not know what I’m taking about, you tell me. 🍀

Next time sit with that 290k, go take a long restroom break and come back to being in the money, maybe also being tight agressive further in the tourney?

You should be playing the daily tournaments at wsop not 10k events lol. I mean unless you enjoy losing.
