I love owls so much. When I was a child an owl nested in our garage. We called her Dolly. She had beautiful babies. I checked on her everyday. I was mesmerized with her. Then one day she was gone. I remember crying my eyes out and missed her so much. And lo and behold she came back. But eventually she was gone for good. I remember I was so upset. But now being 70 I just looked back at the experience I had. And in my home I have decor with owls. Thank you for sharing this story. God bless you all and be safe🦉💖🦉💖

wow, he is so handsome. it is interesting that he really understands humans which should make it easier for him to survive in metropolis. owls usually avoid humans, but they dont need too if humans arent trying to get them, thats a learned behavior. in modern times people dont really do that as much, less in cities. this should be a nice trend

He's been hanging out on the Upper West Side, a fairly pricey neighborhood. Also close to Central Park, so a real comfort zone for him. Huzzah Flaco. 🦉

I have a feeling that bird alert guy is the one who cut his cage. Seriously tho with Eric Adams out there putting rat poison in every neighborhood the owl will inevitably consume a poisoned rat like so many of the city’s other birds of prey

@@SpringNotesReally bad incompetent mayor with lowest approval ratings ever measured. He is responsible for the rat explosion because of his mismanagement of the problem as the COVID emergency eased. Needed to pay attention to the sanitation budget and street baskets and restaurant trash, but he wanted budget cuts and favors for his friends in real estate so they could fund his next campaign. Now he's trying to catch up, but rats are funny that way. Better to keep the problem under control than try to chase after them once you have let them get out of control. Wish we could get a refund on his salary. Cannot wait to vote him out.

He's a eurasian owl, so he's not native to the area, and that's why he will not get a mate because we don't want an invasive species situation.

No, because his species of owl is not native to North America and they do not want an invasive species situation.
