DICE still showing that they know how to have fun by adding in a bit of a battlefield-esque mystery easter egg for a battlefront game. Never change, DICE, never change.
? Is this not the only mystery thing they ever added to this game? They always felt like they had no fun & was overworking etc. Even Ben always seemed tired/sad or whatever. It always took them several months to detect gamebreaking bugs, OP elements etc. The whole process just felt very slow to me. When i wanted to play this game the most, updates was far in between.. Maybe it’s just me and my timing, even tho i still play, but i never felt connected to the devs or the producers. The whole game (to me) felt like they noticed they fucked up at launch, and then tried to act the good guys, proceeding to try and caress the game. They did manage that, but still felt like there was no passion from production crew, since it always took several months to fix whatever bugs they added last patch..
if only EA would treat them with the respect they deserve. its a shame ea kneecapped this wonderful game./
@@EgelundB lmao what? If they didn't have passion for the game then they wouldn't tweet out that they were said to see it go and that it was out of their hands. And they especially wouldn't have worked on it this long.
@@EgelundB Games are always going to have bugs, besides you know how difficult it is to find them all ? It would take too long.
Danni Productions Yeah I felt the same way honestly. It always took months to fix major bugs like the hero duplication glitch and the teleport glitch. And there didn’t seem to be much effort put into the skins either. Modern Warfare releases new skins every week, whereas we were lucky to get any once every 6 months. The game was so much fun but when they released buggy updates or ruined balancing in patches it just wrecked the experience.
When you don't want Takodana - it always puts you in a damn match
When you actually want to play the map - "What is Takodana?" or it puts you at the end of the match...

Only if the game had a clean start and they didn’t have to spend so much time reworking things like the lightsaber combat and the progression system we probably could had some more fun things like this.
Maybe if they make a BF3 they'll learn from their mistakes.. just maybe...

Dark Star Yeah thats the word for it. They were pretty much playing catch up the whole time. Because apparently they were supposed to have Obi Wan and Grievous available at launch but they didn’t come for like over a year later. That was pretty much because they were forced to release the game before they were ready. Seems to be a running theme for EA to release games before they are ready, looking at Mass Effect: Andromeda (though there were more problems with that game than just that reason)

I wish you can unlock this in Instant Action because I can't be able to get into a match on Takodona because the map selection in Co-op are all random, which I hate.

For those saying they can't get the coin shooting the picture:
There is only ONE coin per match. The reason you aren't getting it is someone very likely beat you to it. If this is the case, just go down into the basement and wait outside the door until the other person accomplishes the tasks. All you have to do is enter the room, you don't have to do the interactions.

This highlights an issue with the newer games - you can't even choose what map you play on anymore.
So Rey gets three variations of the same outfit and Luke can’t have his Bespin outfit? That’s not fair

Honestly i love this update, i love the offline coop missions mode as well as ia, sad that this will be the last update, this game is my favourite

I tried getting reys skin but getting takodana for co-op is already a challenge since it shows up 5% of the time AND not hoping it's the cruiser map (which it is 95% of the time). And once I actually get into it, I'm not sure if it's a bug or who makes it first, but the coin wouldnt show when I shot the painting. I'll try when the lobbies empty a bit.

They could've passed the task with updating and adding stuff to this game to another competent game studio or developer, the foundation was already laid. I miss a few heroes :(

1. Jakku
2. Ajan Kloss
3. Starkiller base
4. Takodana but not the right map

These games may have not been the best at launch, but they both hold a special place in my heart. 5 years with this development team. Best 5 years of my childhood
Good luck in trying to get this skin. I tried today and it's really hard to get Takodana to show up in 4 player mode and if one of the 4 players gets to the picture in the castle first, it's doom for the other 3 players. After one person shoots the picture, no one else can do so. I hope this is a bug that will be fixed. Very disappointing.
I really hope they do more milestone/Easter egg unlocks in the next SWBF game. This is such a nice touch! Plus seeing the dev painting gives the feels a lil bit. Love this game a lot!
This reminds me of the Phantom bow quest in Battlefield 4, though nowhere near as lethargic
There are a few things that are hard in B2 and I think trying to Maz’s castle and trying to get 5000 FREAKING KILLS just to get Hooded Rey and Maul. What fun huh.

This whole Easter egg reminded me a little of back when CoD Zombies had Easter eggs and the whole community worked together to complete it. Would have been cool to see more Easter eggs in Battlefront. Maybe in the next one.

Finally, Takodana has a purpose..
I was only able to get the map 2 times in my hour and a half of trying, the first time was on the cruiser and the second the easter egg was bugged out and I couldn’t even start it, GG Dice
To get onto Takodana, complete the co-op mission on Jakku “the graveyard” you will be sent to Maz Castle in the next rotation. However, you might join mid game so you’ll have to try a few times.
This game is an asshole because after I completed jakku... it just immediately main menu me.
It’s impossible to get a match on Takodana right now...

I've been pressing on co-op for an hour and I keep getting takodana starship level
At least create a Takodana only server, same with the Kenobi emote for Maul they should have made a Felucia only server... this is why I didn't bother for the Kenobi emote or this Rey Skin

I finally did it by clipping through the door literally last second as we were about to lose. I kept getting paired with teamates super late into the game and all i did was finally got the map again late and i went straight ti melee the door and it worked first try.

Who the hell asked for hooded Rey and Kylo skin? Instead of battle-damaged Vader, Bespin Luke, or Endor Luke we got Kylo's Supreme Leader skin with just the hood on it?! It looks like a default skin! And Rey, she got 2 same skins, but one has a different lightsaber color and the other one has a hood on her head.
Why they even added ST skins when the Battle on Scarif update is part of the Age of Rebellion? We literally got only 1 skin from OT!

The hardest part is to get into a match in Takodana, after that, let other accomplish the tasks an just enter the basement room... You will complete the milestone just doing that.
If Bf3 comes out, I hope we get more challenging skins to go out and earn. It would be great to do some really hard mission or complex puzzle.
