YAY!! Here's the long-awaited curriculum reveal video! I'm so excited to show you all the books that have just arrived and our plans for the new school year.
Great choices!! 🎉 So happy to see another mom choosing not to dual enroll yet, and savor that last year with him. Lots of benefits both ways and totally respect those who do, but I get your feelings on this last year of high school. I've graduated 4 out of 5, with only two years left. This will be my 20th year homeschooling. Best. Job. Ever!! ❤
❤️ totally understand with the last year. So many different emotions. Great for y’all making the best decisions now for him. Maybe the kickstart program will encourage you all more so as you continue to plan through this year for him. Great choices! ❤️ You look so pretty. Love that top.
Thanks for sharing! We have a ways to go yet before my boys graduate but I was looking at kickstart too. Can't wait to hear your review on it. Love your plan! ❤
Thank you for sharing your picks. For the DVDs you can get a portable DVD player we have a few and they work well for us, they are not too expensive either. Also is your son doing any science?
I learn so much from your videos. Thankfully my oldest is going into 6th, so I have a while before I start graduating my kiddos. I'm so curious to know if you're going to continue to make homeschool videos after both your boys graduate? 🥰
Currently I'm weighing whether dual enrollment is a good option for our family. Right now I'm leaning toward AP tests instead as you don't have to actually take AP classes and there are free and cheap study tools on UA-cam. I'm thinking if there are subjects that my children really enjoy anyway or do well in such as music, art, and math, and we're going to go in depth with them anyway, I may do the extra bit of curriculum to pass the AP exams of those subjects. I'm still not positive that is the route we'll go.

As for Dave Ramsey’s course, go with what you know.😊

Does the worldviews book discuss Catholicism?
@@even.wildflowers.grow. I haven’t read it yet, so I have no idea
I’ve graduated two so far and never did dual enrollment with no regrets. Can’t foresee we will did it with our youngest who’s entering 10th
I'd love to hear your oldest children's educational journey after homeschool without dual enrollment. I'm weighing that choice right now.
Would you say teaching textbooks is good for a struggling student?
@@laurenrasmussen7997 I got it when my kids were struggling and they flourished with TT
They should have done a thumb drive at least. We dont even have a cdrom on our computer.
