It’s slower, well armored, better gun stats, better camo and the nostalgic feeling of being the first of the two TD’s with 183mm and the only one stole the name of the Deathstar from originally the Jagdpanzer E100 rather than being called a shitbarn.

I know the Jagpanzer E-100 is the original deathstar since I could remember old youtubers like jingles mentioning it, but that didn’t last long since basically a couple of updates later the British TD line came to be. In world of tanks blitz it still lead on from the tortoise and is the biggest gun and Called the death star. the fv4005 is a 4 Shell autoloader with 410 Alpha per shot
I wish we had that FV4005 on PC; sounds like fun. I love the Conway and Cherotier, but the FV4005 is so lame.

My second most playable tank, over 1500 battles. Playing it in every session I play. I LOVE IT! At first I was like, this shit I bought for 23mil? But later on, when I boosted my crew and mounted bounty equipment, it started to look like reaaaaally fun tank to play. One shotting Leo, Lion, Stb1, Progettos... Priceless
And it was 10 times better before all the nerfs. BUt you know, Russian bias and all.

In Asian server the min bid is around 175k free experience and 200k for competitive bid, quite good of a deal

Even though doing 1750 alpha is fun, with how HE(SH) shells are as unreliable as fck, I think I stick to the more reliable JagdE100 thank you.
A clanmate got his for 367k free xp, close to the 'competitive bid'. Over 40k players placed bids in the end. I missed out the last time this was up for sale on the Black Market, so I wasn't taking chances - got mine for 450k.

yeh this TD sucks now, on the odd game you get lucky, but with all the HE nerfs and recalculations for HE damage, the gun can't do much vs anything with the massively poor aiming/accuracy. Ontop of which, when a tier 7 can pen through the weak upper plate above the gun mantlet every time (has about 80mm of armor), the FACE of the turret doesn't compete with anything tier 9 or 10 for blocking damage, and the hull is that much worse.
Why does it have to be so fucking expensive...
It's already difficult to have ANY free xp because be have to grind everything in this game and modules are hilariously expensive, especially at tiers VIII/IX. Most casual players don't have this much laying around for god's sake...

My biggest mistake was buying this on the Black Market for 20-million credits. I couldn't play it, as the HESH costs so much I was not able to regain the credits. It's fun, but you need to already own all the tanks and have all your crews fully trained before playing much in this.

When I was grinding for the 260, I used FV to complete the last td15 mission. What I found my favorite build on it was, bond vents, rammer, coated optics, and food.
With BoA. I got the dispersion down to .32 and had 470ish view range. Might have been higher in view range, it's been awhile. You do loose some options to snap shot, but the view range just helps too much.
260k Free XP wasn't enough. Anyone know what the lowest winning bid was? I think about 280k was the competitive bet about 20 minutes before the end.
Well, for equipment, now you can use experimental equipment for the FV 183. Firepower imp or Mobility imp pieces are best for TD's, both give -dispersion on move

To be exact - the biggest gun is on the T92 HMC 😘 But I think he means the biggest gun on any "Not-SPG". But though it is tied with the FV4005 and due to the fact that I have the Deathstar I can say - it's not worth it in my opinion. Too slow for the bit of armor it gets, which is irrelevant against most other tanks. FV4005 is better in my opinion

I busted my ass to grind credits so I could buy this from the black market when that was a thing. Totally worth it, every time I slap someone for 1800 makes me laugh like a maniac. Highrolls are absolutely meme worthy.

Well it's no disaster that it's on the radar now, it's killable. But as a Free-To-Play (Except I have premium account) I can't participate in any of the auctions due to F-T-P account, I simply do not have the resources to buy anything on the auction, I think I have enough free experience to buy this tank but I do not have the gold to convert it.
So once again Wargaming suck up to the semi whales in their game, and fuck the rest of us real good, and when I will be killed by a Death star I can only say Thank You Wargaming and Rage Quit for 11½ month again
When will Wargaming make something good for the non-whales, Free-To-Play account players, AK a large sum of Wargaming's playerbase. To be honest I feel like I always are left out of any chance to get something in the events Wargaming makes, I always lack the gold/credits/money/time/skill to get anything out of those events, so I am cut out of the part of players who can get something out of any event Wargaming makes. Maybe they could make a "Poor player with no skill or time to grind event" and we would receive a Tier 2 light tank with no special attributes like insane DPM/Alpha dmg/Armour and "be grateful" towards Wargaming for giving us this "awesome" Tier 2 light tank.
Wargaming what you really could do that would help the part of the playerbase i mentioned here, the scrubs, let's call us that. Wargaming a thing we could use is a set of awesome crew for 1 or 2 tanks, I am talking the ultimate crew with brothers in arms and 1 more free skill as Zero skills + 2 more 100% skills, it would not be game breaking or "cost" Wargaming much, but for The Scrubs in this game it would be an amazing gift and bee put into our best 1 or 2 Premium tanks we own (We might even buy a new T8/9 Premium tank to put them in) and we, The Scrubs of World of Tanks would actually think we got something special from Wargaming as a bonus for playing their game, and be insanely happy and grateful.
But I must stop dreaming, Wargaming would never do such a ting for The Scrubs of World of Tanks, it's just a dream mate wake up....
(I do not know why I keep playing this game, when I hate Wargaming so much I almost can taste my dislike, but it's the game as such, you do not easily find a tank only game, that is online MMO PvP based, I do not see any true competitor to World of Tanks, that is why I play and disregard all the BS Wargaming do/does to fuck up their own game and playerbase)
Well, I do not see the point of getting it, to be honest. On my alt, I could research two tier X tanks from tier IX for 500K experience or do like complete branch for some better tier X tank. On the main account, I have had it from when it came in the game. If I recall it good, we got to keep it and got FV4005 for free. Though it took me time to recall when I played it last time. It was when I was trying to do a TD15.3 mission for the Obj.260. I was rotating between FV4005 and FV215 183, trying to replicate my best games in those tanks, but games were too fast, and I couldn't get a long game needed to do it. The last time I selected it in the garage was when the equipment 2.0 came out. Was changing old stuff with new equipment. Tank is a meme tank, and as such, it should be fun, right? But it ain't really. Higher the alpha higher the disappointment when you fail to do the damage. Plus, higher alpa guns suffer mire from RNG. High rate of fire guns compensate bad shots fast. This one doesn't. It used to carry only 12 shells, too. So, missing two in a row would crippled your potential damage output. Something like KV-2 is way more fun derp tank. Or BZ-176. Lower alpha but lower tier as well. Death star has simply aged bad and is not that great in the current fast play meta. You need to pray for bad teams on the city map to do a good game in it. Do not expect to one shot a single tank in every game. You will do way more non penetrating shots in the city map on hull down heavies than being able to snap shot their weak points.
The FV215b I got using BONDS has better firepower, traverse speed, dispersion, higher mobility, and spotting than the (183) version. Therefore NO REASON to bid on this scam.
I hate when Quckybaby "lies to us". That first battle, such a lie. Look at the score, 12-2 towards the end. It's a total team steamroll, where QB just got to sit and deal damage to a crumbling team. THAT'S RARE. And NOT what you will experience on a regular basis. MOST of the time, you'll do next to nothing, and the enemy will chew you up and spit you out... I have the tank, and here is most every game: It's takes so long to get anywhere, the battle is pretty much over by the time you get into position. Everyone fires gold, and you are essentially a paper tiger. You get in MAYBE 1 shot a minute. Most of the time less. (Unlike this video, enemies never seam to just sit there in front of you and wait for you to reload). Then you die.
bought it during the first black market event. The worst 25 million credits I ever spent, I regret it every day . This SHT is totally RNG dependant, team dependent. On open maps as soon as u get spotted all arta immediately focus you.
My advise. Dont buy it . The FV4005 is much better simply beacuse with its turret is way more flexible than this piece of garbage.

how does one get back in the game ? Got banned for talking back to people in the chat. They talked sh*t....I laid it back on them. Then lag, cheating , and couldn't use chat, and just got fed up with all the crap. Been out for 6 months or so. Watching you guys play I miss the challenges. So set up and tried to play again. Gun would not stay in FIRE mode. Enter a game and couldn't shoot. Anyone have a solution , comments etc...And no I was not cussing in chat or other wise, just banter and some twit reported me " feelings got pissed on I suppose.
I was hoping the 183 would be in an auction... But after seeing the NA server make minimum bid 20k gold for a 9k gold reskinned Progetto, I'm sadly sure they'll ridiculously raise the requirements for the fv to far far above what I can supply
The min bid on NA server was 175k free exp and comp bid with 30 mins left in auction was 390k.
I bid 400k and won one.... had 200k free exp and only needed to convert the other 200k. Worth it for a tier 10 TD
Not sure what the final competitive bid was on NA server. But last I checked before I went to bed with around 30 mins left, was competitive bid was 390k with around 5k bidders. I bid 400k and when I woke up, seen that I won one of them...

Today im going to use my t7 Tiger tank to fight a t9 futuristic autoloader speed boosted up armored commie fantasy shitmobiel. All skill has left the game and now we are left with what everyone has warned about for the past 10 years, pay to win is the sad reality of a game that was once the best deal in FTP games.
The auction made me super mad. Because of some gambling laws in Asia I couldn’t bet gold. Only free XP. Which I don’t have, but I have a great job and a lot of money but noooo I couldn’t bet with that. Not happy with Wargaming

Its such BS that they nerfed the fv4005. I used to say “well it is faster” to justify getting it and not feeling bad about being a week late to get the fv215b183 when they added the badger. Now its just 100% trash. It can be funny to 1 shot a tank here or there but overall its just garbo

Probably lost on the WoT developers but HESH isn't really designed to "penetrate". The hint is in the last two letters of the acronym "Squash Head".
Used to be able to one shot a is-7, 2 shot a maus. One shot ANY tier9. Watch the HP melt away lol. I still have it but I don’t play anymore.
generous free xp conversion from wg? they offer one of the most useless tier Xs for freexp. not a premium, not a new tank, just an old beater. I think is quite sneaky how they have the ongoing xp conversion event expecting to milk as much as they can out from this old, mediocre and toxic tank.
I will never get this tank. Every time this tank comes out, I am either working, or do not have the gold to get it. I know it;s the same gun as the SHI-BARN but still.

183 is a tech tree tank in blitz also blitz has no arty or +2-2 and ive already grinded the is7 e100 183 268 263 maus is4 and many premiums

The biggest gun have not the FV215b (183), the biggest gun have the tier 10 american SPG with 203 mm.
