The problem is because of these d-bags in their Lamborghinis acting a fool that _all_ Lambo owners are being tarred with the same brush. So it's up to responsible Lambo owners to deal with these malcontents.

@@danielseelye6005 I don’t disagree. But earlier in the video Casey addressed the elephant in the room that he too is a UA-camr and a lambo owner. I was simply reiterating to Casey that real gear heads can recognize and appreciate the difference between what he is doing, and what douche bag lambo owners are doing.

a few of those video titles were from Daily Driven Exotics, one of the ones about the Beverly Hills cop was about a cop claiming his valid Canadian drivers license was not valid in the US and threatening to impound his Lamborgini, he is always calm and respectful when dealing with the police, his titles though are almost always clickbait, though he does do doucebag sh!t out on the streets on occasion, but he doesn't seem to do to much sh!t that is reckless to the point of dangerous to innocent bystanders or motorists, when he gets a ticket on one of the obnoxiously loud super cars, he accepts his ticket with grace while being respectful to the police, then pays it, making a point of the cops are just doing their job and don't deserve to be disrespected for that. I would say Damon honestly loves the cars he drives and is a real car guy, Dave is a bit of a doucebag though lol, one other thing, over the last two or three years, most of DDE's most blatant doucebaggery is scripted and done in the safest way possible

@@cerebralfailure8804 Good points. Also have seen that video and those directly related with it.
However that channel is one that does not convey proper attitude, activities, behavior, etc. in may of their posts, and are basically 'falunting' their 'false status' as 'super-car' owners.
My introduction to them came through another channel which is still very good.
Since their posted videos are about their various activities, etc. which are basically immature behavior, as these other channels mentioned, i avoid viewing them.
It is interesting that Your view of Damon and Dave are the opposite to that of me.
Dave seem much more stable, and slightly less 'status' orientated than Damon.
Both are actual ignorant type 'super-car' enthusiasts and focus the most upon the 'sound' an 'thrill' aspects.
There is another channel which is recently also producing many videos to attract the viewers of such improper, immature, invalid, incorrect, etc. behavior, though the core is generally very good.
Just today, i have written a comment to the channel owners, in hope they will consider these improper actions and their influence.
One other videos which Casey read the title is posted on Vin Wiki, in which one person who works for them as a vidographer, his Lamborghini was confiscated, impounded, refused return by the Detroit PD, used by the PD Chief, etc. finally returned after extended efforts via a lawyer, with the vehicle having some damage too. The PD, police officers, city council all are involved in invalid, illegal actions and legislation which are direct violations of the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution.
Similarly the intended improper use, misuse, abuse the BH policeman threatened are such violations too along with established legal agreements between USA and Canada.
The Laws within Canada are far more Authoritarian, Socialist, since they lack a Constitution, Individual Rights as with all other former British Commonwealth countries as in Britain, Scotland, Ireland, UK and South Africa and many others.
{my current residence outside the USA also has the same lacking and was established by known, established, self-proclaimed Communists]
Which country anywhere in the World does not have an Authoritarian Government since the 20th Century at least ?
We will see what they do.

I’ve had M6s, S2000s, Supras, etc. But it was you who convinced me to get a 944 instead of a Ferrari or new 911. A 944 was always my dream car as a teenager in the 80s anyway. Best car decision I ever made. I love it. Thank you so much for not being a douche, and just being a car guy who happens to be on YT. With cars, you do NOT get what you pay for.

To me the worst part is that this is not only happening with exotics, you can see it in car enthusiasm in general. People are actively looking to do stuff with or to their cars that will attract the most attention possible. Pops & bangs are a good example. My car has them from factory and they are decent, but, there is always a group that needs to overexaggerate everything and make their cars sound like a f*cking ak47 in downtown areas or residential streets pissing everybody off.

I completely agree, and since "they" began to get shoved into my suggested feed I've always hated them, their clickbaity titles, the narcissistic behaviour dripping from every video, the rest... Cannot stand them and yes makes Lambo owners look like wankers, this is why the manufacturers like Ferrari try to cease and desist behaviour like this. They are literally damaging the brand. These assholes want to act like they are the Kings of the Lambo world but they are definitely just the Ed Hardy trucker caps of Automotive UA-cam.

It is just classic to end the intro rant with "This isn't a rant"! 🤣
I think super cars would be a way more fun world if somehow we could make it a requirement that you had to be able to turn a wrench before you could own one. Sporty cars are a wonderful example of a rolling physics lab combined with art. Not to be completely immersed in the mechanical wonder in the details seems to be a sign that you want "something pretty" instead of something that works amazingly that you can train yourself to become completely integrated with.
    _____________________________________-
    - And paddle shifters . . . 🙄
Yes it is quicker!!! And your grandmother can shift exactly as fast as Lewis Hamilton. Uhhhh, wow. 😴 When you are putting a paddle shift car through its paces has anyone ever said "Nice click!"? So a paddle shifter in a sports car has absolutely zero skill involved with it. How sporty!!
A manual shifter is one of the things that will display someone's actual skill in driving. Seeing someone who can shift smoothly with precise control is a display of the art of driving. If they can shift quickly without jerking the car (and without the clutch and syncros showing wear on a tear down) they are elevating that art. And if a person can double declutch a crash box reflexively without clashing the gears they are a master.
    - Or they can get a flappy paddle gearbox and we can roll our eyes.

Well said, Casey. My opinion is that much of what you speak against here is the dark side of the rebirth of car enthusiasm brought about by the Fast & Furious movies (I've only ever seen the first one). To me those movies were about flexing and having an attitude than they were ever about cars. I appreciate that they did revitalize enthusiasm in a hobby which was in decline but they also brought along a lot of social baggage which should have been shed long ago.

I'm a Lamborghini owner, but I own a Jalpa. I've always tried to not be an asshole because there's such a huge stigma about supercar owners these days. I've seen some of the channels you talk about where all they do is post about encounters with cops. In all reality it isn't hard to drive one and not be an ass in one. It doesn't make you better than other people, it doesn't make you a better driver, it doesn't make you above others. I like what you said about the mechanical symphony, it puts a smile on my face every time in hear it. But so many people these days are in it for social media and shock value.

The Beverly Hills one the cop pulled him over and was going to impound his car because he didn’t have a California license he just had his Canadian driver license and passport. If the cop would have he would have broken a United States and Canada treaties. Now the cop said he had loud pipes but the car was fully stock with a sticker all over the car. I watched the video on a layers UA-cam channel. Now the car own did file a complaint and that was it. Now the car was plated in California the owner keeps it in California as a car to drive when he is in town but he just lives in Canada.

      @newtonfirefly3584 2 роки тому +2

@Evil Fluff; You conveyed much of the summary and gist of that video, which i also saw, and the others related with it , including the files complaint and other visits.
      @Casey Putsch;
In fact, that police officer, like many others, though not the 'norm', often act as Authoritarians, beyond the laws they are given to enforce, and are actually bigger jerks, worse role models, violators of The US Constitution, as with most every US politician. The police in Canada are actually far worse and given far more authority, since their Authoritarian Socialist Parliamentary Government is like and the same as all those previously in the British Commonwealth, without a Constitution and Individual Rights.
Also, one of the videos which Casey mentioned the title initially, then skipped, is on Vin Wiki, with another violation of Constitutional Individual Rights, via the Corrupt Detroit PD, and unlawful, invalid, unconstitutional city laws [regarding 'street races'] in which the person, driver who works as a videograpaher with Vin Wiki, and marked on the vehicle, was individually selected, subjugated and subjected unlawfully to this unconstitutional law and his Lamborghini confiscated, impounded, return refused, used by the PD [Chief], etc., then through a lawyer finally returned, and damaged.
There are many individuals within the various PD, Government officials, etc. which violate the laws, misuse, abuse, threaten with their legal authority, etc.
The main type of individual which Casey is correctly pointing out, complaining about, criticizing, are actually acting improperly, incorrectly, are clearly not models for any proper behavior and jerks. These individuals on that channel that were mistreated, usually behave improperly too, or just 'flaunt' their false status as 'super-car' owners, and generally jerks like most of the other 'super-car' owners displayed on this platform and many other too.
In this video Casey conveys some valid information, ideas, concepts and also sadly, in this video and others too, Casey convey his lack of proper information, knowledge, ignorance, personal views based upon falsehood, false information, etc.
This one is based i and upon mostly proper information, with some incorrect and false information mixed into it.
The concept of a "Douche Bag" he begins with, is clearly extended from the second one mentioned, and originates from a woman actually.
      [who uses a 'douche' ?]
Actually, these people are more properly labeled as 'jerks', immature, lacking proper behavior, basic social skills, ideas, concepts, principles, especially within society and behavior, sometimes insolent and worse.
There is a basis, reason, etc. which this platform and other similar platforms all labeled as 'social media' actually promote such channels, behavior, etc, while censoring other channels which convey proper, correct, opposition information to the propaganda of the Government.
This all has do do with the development, expansion, partnership, owners, etc. of all types of media channels and the over all purpose, direction, dictation, control, etc., by whom and for what they want within their 'Great Agenda'.
Mostly, Casey conveys important, proper information, knowledge, ideas, concepts, principles.
For these aspects, this channel and Casey are worthwhile to follow and watch to get valuable, good, proper correct, information and knowledge.
Sometimes he also reveals his lacking, inDOCtrination, acceptance of propaganda, falsehood, pretense, lies, though seemingly unaware of them.
We each must also be aware, informed, knowledgeable to detect, discern, differentiate from every individual, what is correct and not.
Else, as most people, they become comparable to the 'yes man', and 'sheeple'.
All The Best and Much Success in Your Quest, Health and Well Being. 😊
      Sincerely ☺

You are embarrassed to own a Lamborghini? Try owning and driving a Mustang GT. Other people's opinions don't define who we are as car owners and enthusiasts. If I thought so, I know I never would have bought a Mustang. I know I cannot control people's opinions of me and I cannot stop certain Mustang owners from exacerbating and re-enforcing the typical negative Mustang owner stereotype. I can only control what I do and how I act with my car. Own and drive what you want and stand proud.

You could see the entire car shake and wobble at his countersteer. Too much throttle too.
And here I am sitting thinking how long it'll be until he wrecks that until he moves on to the next thing.
Sounds familiar doesn't it....also pretty much algorithm comment, let'sgo
I almost have a Lamborghini problem with Mercedes. Saying that as I wanna own a Merc, I think they're amazing cars, well built, engineered, like the look etc.
But what does it say about you? I know why a lot of people want one and it's damn near not for those reasons.
Status symbols. New money, new Benz...and even then the old money. I just don't know if I could relay that message to the world by owning one. I haven't driven one to tell you if I actually like it over a BMW but you're a different kind of prick in a BMW. One I can get behind at least. There's a huge disconnect between the company, the people and the cars for me.

The purchase of my Lamborghini was a dream come true. This may be an aspect of where I live but I have received nothing but positive reactions as they are not common here and I've had several people tell me it is their first time to even see one. No matter where I am going or what I am doing, I will always take time to talk to that person and answer any questions they have. Just the other evening I went through a neighborhood to pick up a friend, it created such a scene in the neighborhood I ended up having a line of kids waiting to get their turn to sit in it...
Now, that being said... DDE, Ed Bolian, Stradman, Normal Guy Supercar, Casey Putsch, and several other UA-camrs helped make me realize that this dream was entirely possible and these cars are not difficult to own and not to be scared to drive them. When I see DDE beat up on a car, my inspiration is not to go disrespect cops or go break as many laws as I can. My actual thoughts are "Well sh!t, if these cars can handle that... surely they can handle my spirited drive down some of my favorite roads." If any of the UA-camrs I watched were caught being rude or unappreciative to their fans, that would be crossing the line into douchebag territory for me personally. As far as disrespecting police, I've never seen a video where they have been disrespectful unless the cops initiated it. I have a lot of friends that are cops, they are the first to tell you that even a cop can be a douchebag.

There are a LOT of UA-cam channels I won't watch for these reasons. UA-cam should do more about it since if I'm not mistaken the terms and conditions have something to say about not posting illegal activities. Sadly since it makes them money they choose to ignore all but the most blatant videos. Most likely there are laws concerning most of it, however people keep things vague enough to maintain reasonable doubt so nobody will go after them.

As a Lambo (Aventador currently) owner I agree the downside of it is the stigma thanks to some of the owners and their behavior. I bought my car for the same reason as you which, in today's social-media-focused world, appears to be a minority nowadays. As a child, a Lamborghini was one of my dream cars and I always found the looks and sound intoxicating and loved the origin story of a founder doing it himself vs being subject to a guy who treated customers like crap. I see way too many other owners (some renters?) do the flybys, rev unprovoked at lights, etc. just for attention and adulation and hate being associated with that behavior. Sadly, much of today's culture cheers this on and sets a bad example for the youth that would aspire to be owners for the wrong reasons.

Biggest down side of owning an EF Civic hatch is a similar thing here. It gets a lot of attention, but not so much from emeritus professors. I don't really get it. It's slow and economical brutally basic, which is exactly what I'm looking for. A vintage motorcycle with a roof. For some reason the community has decided it's a drag car. I know how fast my Honda is, and I know how fast my Saturn was. That race is a scorched-Earth massacre in favor of the cross-eyed car from Tennessee that you can't give away. Hondas CAN be fast, but it takes real work. The D15 with the AutoZone filter and muffler delete doesn't qualify. They're not even cheap. It's so weird.

All symptoms!!! Douche Baggery comes from access to funds! It’s not just Lamborghini! If you can’t afford it….LEASE IT! Like you, I own a Huracan, vintage race a c3 corvette, and restore old muscle cars. Having a Lamborghini and a couple AMG’s does not make me a DB!. BUT I GET WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM!
If you look at some history of YT douche bags, they drove less expensive cars like idiots before the realized they could somehow find funding for “super cars”.
    Just my 2 cents….

I agree with there is a time and place for enjoying cars responsibly. There are always the good people and bad people for every type of car brand. Going through a down town area revving and being obnoxious is not the place to do it. Though on country roads you can open it up a little. It all comes down to time and place.

Lamborghini got a bad reputation thanks to the Gallardo. It was basically the perfect intersection of price and flash. It was the cheapest way to get the most dramatic styling and colors, so the first car anyone who wants to stand out and comes in to money buys was a Gallardo. They were pretty much the main indication a rapper or athlete got their first big paycheck. For me it completely devalued them as an interesting car because they were just everywhere.

IMO this extends to pretty much any car with a modified exhaust.
I live in a populated city, with a thriving economy, that has loads of modified sports cars. 9 times outta 10, the owner is always being a douche. Revving the engine for no reason, going double the speed limit everywhere, or the worst offender. The crackle tune.
Pretty much anyone who isn’t a enthusiast views sports cars, as a douche bag move. As I age, I’m starting to agree. I cannot stand the majority of today’s “enthusiasts”
I’ve been into cars & bikes my whole life, but sadly have moved away from exotic/sports car ownership due to what’s listed above. I only track my bikes, or ride off road these days.

I think that simply reading the definition and then trying to avoid that kind of a person despite maybe having for example some instinctive tendencies towards that kind of a person is sufficient to put / keep you on the right track. It’s just choosing reasoning over impulse. 👍
Honestly I don’t even care that much of definition, this is one my favorite channels both entertaining and educational (liken this video, it is a serious and interesting discussion) so I can tolerate a small deviation from the ideal model :)
About the algorithm I think there may be at least a way of improving it and specialist can do this. The idea is for the good of the world it is better, I believe (I know some don’t want this), to give better education to anyone so although they don’t bring more views, quality content should be promoted and given a higher let’s say coefficient. Probably this would require the governments to pay for that and not sure how difficult is to give a quality rating. It may not be that easy after all. The governments could also pay for it. of course then the government may want to promote their own stuff and we get into other issues. If they create a special international agency so that it would be less influenced by politicians own interest. They would need to cover say every video platform with more than x visitors for example.

also, people claim supercar owners are douche bags, yet ive NEVER met someone with a supercar that was even the slightest bit unpleasant to me. but you want to know who are the biggest douche bags? the stereotypical 350z owners, and honda civic owners. if you have ever been in a vq group, or tried to buy honda parts from majority of civic owners. ull know who the real douches are lol.
and to my point, when i had an rb25 r32 skyline, a guy with a twin turbo huracan convertible, and another guy with a viper came up to me at a meet, complimented my car, and asked me to cruise with them. not only that but they invited me to some of their night cruise events.

The man that first taught me about how to work on engines, gave me a very valuable piece of advice. "What comes around goes around, time is irrelevant."
Which I think applies to the Douche's out there. Their behavior is going to catch up to them, sooner or later. We only hope when it's their time it's nothing life threating. Hopefully they learn the lesson the first time, because stupidity rarely grants one a second chance.
I wish they made all cars harder to drive, I've seen idiots doing things in everyday cars. That would make the Douche Bags look tame. I'm in a 911(AENJ) it can do things a truck(jacked up)/SUV/minivan can't. Like overcome a high degree of centripetal force. But it is entertaining to watch them try.

To me, these big channels that rev/do donuts in their cars CONSTANTLY, and EVERYWHERE, are what is leading this charge against Lambo owners. Think big channels that DRIVE them DAILY, and not only screwing with our justice system, that isn’t even theirs BTW, they screw with Canada’s and Japans not to mention how many places across the country.
These people need their cars taken and not be allowed to own them. They say they are car-guys but don’t even understand how they work. A CAR GUY is interested in how they work, not just saying “look at me because I own a Lambo”.

But ever since asshat cryptodudebros flocking around Lambos, I no longer want any Aventador. I still want Murcielago and Diablo, though.

Here’s the thing. Douche bags care what people think enough to buy a Lamborghini for the cool factor of owning one. The stigma of it isn’t relevant.
My advice to anyone of any socio-economic standing is to focus on being self aware and to not be overly concerned with the opinions of others valid or not.
If I could afford one I’d have one. If people had a problem with me or the fact that I owned a car it’s their problem. Not mine.

What do you call a person who instantly jump on Instagram to judge a influencer channel with multiple on camera personalities, about how they released a crash video about a super rare manual murcielago that he bought years ago and b4 recent boom- which had starred on said channel for years in probably close to 100 videos (where millions of subs are gonna want description of why car disappeared).. In which he actually tried to cheer up the shop that crashed it during testing it once he tried to pick up but not finished correctly? And it was his favourite of multiple lambos? And that judge also had taken a selfie when he damaged his "non douche bag" lambo, and used it in thisvpost judging the other guy for same thing? And now making a 30min video doubling down cuz he's so woke unlike rest of us? What do you call that guy? Who also made video for profit about how he sped so much when he bought lambo and drove home.. I guess you call him casey- who ruined me being a fan of his.. Assholes are always gonna fuk it up for all of us, but you gotta pick your battles- and see what other influencers that you're referencing, think about law enforcement that aren't total douche bags who fuk it up for good cops- it might be same stance as yours

i dont understand the problem with showing off. why wouldnt someone be proud of what they have. regardless of if they worked for it, won it, or inherited it.
i believe in the law of attraction, and manifestation. for example. a few weeks ago i said i want to be able to afford a lamborghini urus in 3 years. now all of a sudden i see them everywhere. in massachusetts you never see people actually drive their nice cars. and before a few weeks ago i may have seen 2-3 urus' ever. now i see 2-3 weekly. seeing them repeatedly will subconsciously make me start making better decisions and doing what i have to do to achieve my goal.

You should join Lamborghini Owners VIN Verified on FB... No douchebaggery in that group (Balboni and Lambo Execs are even in the group). People will move on from the Gallardo as they continue to age (too expensive to maintain and too slow to keep up with modern supercars). The clean gated cars that survive will be sought after and the least douchbag Lambo of the V10 cars. One of the reasons I also have the Exige. Lotus groups are (generally) full of actual enthusiasts, not posers. Hang in there. The Gallardo will be a classic one day and people will see them for the art that they are and not the stunt-mobile young people think they are today.

14:06 I know I now fall into the category of a douche bag, sorry, maybe I didn’t understand it right, lowest common denominator is the lowest number that is the multiple of all denominator of a set of fractions. 12/16 and 3/4 are equivalent and equal. the smallest common denominator of these 2 fractions is 16. Anyway this is just about definition you can still solve problems if you forget one of them who cares, I’m aware that if I know this definition it certainly doesn’t mean I know math better.
