I like reading comments under unreleased Burial tracks. It's the place where past and future are connected like a rabbit hole. People 12 years ago were waiting for track to be released, people today still waiting. Some people reply to themselves 10 years after. It's a pure magic
It amazes me seeing all these comments from so so long ago. Makes me feel melancholic.. All these people living their lives, having once commented on a beautiful track from an artist so ahead of his time. Love you all
@@NamelessFG i was 18 listening to this on my macbook covered in shit supreme stickers and other cliches, now 30 on my desktop about to go to a dinner party... still sounds as it did. what a time for electronic music in the UK
i think this tune and Feral Witchchild will always be the tracks we all wanted but never materialized...the vocals and melody in this track really get me tingling...i'd love to see them released one day...fingers crossed!! :)
We missed out on an entire album around this time. He mentioned in a rare interview that he'd almost finished an LP that in his words "sounded like a weapon being pulled apart and put back together again" but he came home in a foul mood one day and deleted the entire thing.....
@@MichaelJP That sounds familiar except the delete part. I recall that his HDD broke and he lost most if not all of his work. Not sure how much truth there is in that though. I've read many interviews back then but my memory is bad so I might be mistaken. Either way we lost so many bangers and they will 100% never ever see the light of day. Glad we have this one though. Never gets old, been listening to this tune for ages.
there isn't much point getting music on vinyl today. Vinyl is only good for music made before 1987, Before the advent of digital filters, which digital mediums all are subject to. The only other reason to get muasc on LP is if it wasn't released digitally. It's a waste of time outside of whats above mentioned. As for 'vinyl sound', it can be acchieved quote easily with the right (analog) gear.
best days of my life, when i still had hope, and things could happen for me. Best time for tunes, Burial, Dmz, Rupture, Pangaea, Hessle, them were the days
Here on the release of Burials new EP Antidawn his biggest release since Untrue, crazy seeing comments on here from 10 years ago, Burials still about and i hope everyone will find there way to his hidden gems like this
Antidawn is horrible. I miss this side of burial. Club tunes. Aggressive percussions with mysterious R&B vocals. It's a damn shame he stopped. I still have hope some day they will release all these
man this tune is so crazy, admittedly not ALL of Burial's tracks are amazing, but when Burial does it well as he did with this tune...this seriously needs to be heard on a system though, this one is crazy, so much emotion

Actually everything is not as easy as it seems to be. Producers/artists release their products on some labels or kinda so they mostly loose their author's rights. And the labels are almost always veeery greedy so they'll better save products and wait when somebody'll need it and sell it to them, than distribute it for free. Nobody cares about art or fame, 'cause money is all that people need. There are many examples.. Oleg Kuvaev is one of that persons (I don't think u know who's that, but shortly - he made some cartoons by his own when he was working in one studio.. and when he left his job he lost all his rights)
SKUNKx05 One of Burials main marketing styles is his anonymity and the erratic and sudden release schedule. These songs arent out because that gives them value and therefore when they are out, the community will go mad for them (rightfully so). Hyperdub arent just fucking him over haha trust me; theres a new burial track on the vol.4 compilation
Malice the beauty of his music is that we will never get these songs, we can hear a 3 minute low quality clip on a late night radio show and that's all we get but that's what it's all about, a full release of every Burial tune he's made in various stages of completion would spoil it, I love the idea that he has some of his best ideas hidden
how can any1 not like Burial? his music is a different class, a different level, and if you do your research I believe he has only ever done 1 interview - during which he covered his face because he doesn't want fame - just wants to create music. he also said how he sits in a room and his songs will come on the radio and his mates will be like who is he? I heard its actually a woman? and he will jus sit there and smile. he's a humble guy and is a true artist, doesn't do it for the fame or the mo
i agree. its super refreshing to have a song without the super produced, super polished sound you find in a lot of todays music. the imperfection, and mudiness is a wonderful breath of fresh air.
@HexicNexus - Blackdown is a DJ for Rinse FM which means Burial must ave given this to him. I've read a lot of posts on why and how an unreleased tune of Burial leaks out. It's a very close community, ya know. Every radio shows on [pirate] internet FM gets new unreleased track of just about everyone every week. But many of you won't know that unless you're heavily into dubstep. The most amazing thing about dubstep is that I actually listen to radio again. Haven't done that since 90s hiphop. Big!
The commenting done on a previous version of one of Burials unreleased songs actually made it better. The commentors had a sexy smooth voice that kinda went with the music, and they were talking in a 'mysterious' tone too. I think it was "Untitled Track II", but it may not have, you'll know it when you hear it fo' sure.
One day this track will have and official release, is a masterpiece. Young Death/Nightmarket are good tracks but True Love is soo good. Hyperdub-Kode 9 please release the track :(
