Honestly, this director has cast the most precious, adorable and talented little actors in both his series that I've ever seen. Couldn't have found anyone better suited for those characters than these kids imo
Benjamin and Amelie are so sweet and mature. I can’t wait to see them in Bly Manor. I also can’t wait to see how different Victoria, Oliver, Henry and Kate’s characters are to their Hill House characters.
Some people who saw THOHH first found this one a bit slower to take off and perhaps not as intense. But I saw this one first and loved it, so it was the other way around for me. It's a bit different and more of a love story but give it a chance. The performances are stellar and every actor that was in THOHH that appears in this one is absolutely phenomenal
@@JoDee172 as someone who first saw and loved Hill House, I was definitely excited for Bly Manor - came for the horror, stayed for the gothic romance. Love them both!!
I first watched Hill House with a friend and we binge watched the entirety of it in one sitting. It was absolutely terrifying but I loved it. Bly Manor is definitely a different approach on "haunting" and I love it a little more than HH. What can I say? A tragic romance is just my thing.
I binged the series just because I couldn't look away, and the cut between episodes got sort of drowned out in the story. Such an amazing series, with so much depth.
The shows are really different. In "Hill House" you have the theme of childhood trauma and the damage it can leave in one's life as well as the incredibly interesting relationship between the siblings and the ways in which they were each impacted differently by their experience in Hill House. In "Bly Manor" you have stories of lost loves and the relationships between the staff of Bly Manor and the chosen family that they became for each other. Heart breaking.
I did a perfectly splendid binge. And I’m going to do it again this weekend! But honestly, now that I finished I see your point. I’m going to rewatch it but slowly! Hahaha Miles froze on zoom was insanely relatable.
I think binging shows especially great ones like Bly is such a waste... I like to savor each episode and have time to think, I'll watch 1 ep a day... Binging is like having your fav meal and just woofing it down w/o enjoying it lol
I think, for some, it makes a difference which one you watch first. I happened to watch THOBM first and I loved it, which is why I went on to find THOHH second, and loved that as well. I think for me too, had I seen them both in the opposite order, I might've found THOBM a bit less eventful, as I probably would've hoped for the same intensity. But I think they're both really stellar shows in their own right
"I feel like the people who binged Hill House in 12 hours are insane" I feel so seen 😂
I was literally blushing 😍🥰
Lol same
he said that and i was like "okay, you know what..."
I love every show Victoria Pedretti touches.. Her acting just pulls me in!
Loved her in Amazing Stories.
What A Perfectly Splendid Interview
Me who has just watched both Hill House and Bly Manor through two 10 hour binges: lmao
WOW!
You’re not alone. I absolutely couldn’t switch off. I’ll watch them all again, many times, to soak up everything I missed.

Same, but in this order: first Bly Minor and then Hill House to remember all the caracthers and the great story that ir is
@@raquelbazancondezo2972 Yea, I watched Bly Manor as soon as it came out and then I went back to watch Hill House.
The way I thought I'd watch an episode a day of Bly Manor but ended up swollen eyed at 4am the following day. 😭😭😭
HAHAHAHA MOODDD

When you don't want to stop watching and you binge, you know it's that good. This show is that good.
The acting in this is absolutely amazing or I guess I should say perfectly splendid
Amelia’s so adorable.
Pervert
JK JK JK JK JK IM JUST KIDDING PLEASE
Those kids were amazing in the film and great in this interview. Perfectly Splendid!!!
A film-never known a film to be nearly 9 hours long. 😂
May I just say T'Nia's and Amelia's backgrounds look amazing. So does the interviewer's!
I binged the series just because I couldn't look away, and the cut between episodes got sort of drowned out in the story. Such an amazing series, with so much depth.
they did my girl dirty in that thumbnail 😭

The acting was very good.
Shows like this I prefer to binge watch first and then watch slowly to see what I missed.
They Talk About for Series Movie The Haunting of Bly Manor Cast By The Newton Brothers

Homeboy that is a LOT of DVDs. Like hoarder level
Where's owen 😓
Notice how Ms Rebecca is never on any of the interviews, this is very weird considering she is a big part of the series
The tumb nail has Victoria looking like a ghost....why you do her dirty in real life as well give my future wife a break.
lmao
Where’s her eyebrows?
she had to bleach them for a photoshoot
Those kids are so well spoken. You don't see that in America.
What happened to her eye brows?
She bleached them for a photoshoot
what's wrong with Victoria's eyebrows ? just scared me to death that one
she bleached them for a magazine shoot
oh no 😨
Sarah Paulson too 👈
Slow burn. Definitely.
I loved hill house so much better than bly manor
This one is much more laborious to watch than hill house...
