Follow up: that concealer is a no for me. He must be a lot younger than I with fewer wrinkles 'cause it did much better for him. I saw a video using Lancome concealer on an older woman, like myself, and it performed much better.

I’m pretty sure you made a video 7 years ago saying not to put blush on the apples of your cheeks. Every time i see somebody with blush there all i can think of is how round it makes their face look haha. Since i started putting my blush further back towards my hairline my face looks so so much slimmer. I love that i get real beauty tips from this channel😍

Deborah Smyrl i like a tiny, tiny amount. And it has to be a bronzey/peachy color. Like NARS luster, or glossier cloud paint in beam. Or something super nude. I hate hate hate pink blush of any type.

Angel Spark I’m so happy for you and your attitude. Wayne has another video that’s about age defying concealers. Just search for his “age defying concealer” on You Tube. I’m 70 and haven’t noticed a problem but I do “set “ some concealers with a light light powder like Laura Mercier brightening or RCMA power, both are for setting. The one I don’t need to set is from Benifit called Cakeless I think.
I hope he answers your question because I’m interested to in his review and I’d like to try this new video concealer because perhaps I can us little to no foundation.
@ Donna I'm older, and I'm trying to get away from concealer as well. I mean, I want my face to match the rest of my body. It's all about looking natural to me. I was a teenager in the '70s. Was such a beautiful time for women: hair and makeup. These days young girls just don't look natural. They literally paint their face on.
I think only very young teenage girls can get away without makeup. I would never do it. I’m also with Jackie Kennedy who once said she would never be caught with gray hair. Some go for these “natural” approaches. I like to look natural also, but I achieve that with makeup & a good colorist. Only my opinion, for myself.
Also real quick Wayne, could you do a video on a mother of the bride look? My daughter is getting married and I am interested in natural look but long wearing makeup. Would love to hear your recommendations! xoxo

Wonderful! I have a wedding to attend to also. Some of these might be obvious, but.. Waterproof mascara is a must. Eyeliner too, if needed. Don't get any new makeup unless you have time to test how they perform on you 😊 I wish Wayne makes the tutorial happen in time 😊 congrats too, have a great summer and wedding!

Get Blinc (spelled with a c) mascara, won't sweat off or smudge or run when you cry, it's totally amazing. I swear by it and have done for years and I wore it for my own wedding.

I agree! I had a much” too light “shade sitting around- then saw you apply it to outer corners for the eye lift effect and WOW! I could not believe how great it looked even ON wrinkles!!!
I don't know why I haven't picked this concealer up yet. I like the coverage with Tarte Shape Tape but I feel like I look 10 years older after it dries down, so I'm excited to give this one a try thanks to your review.

Did you try this?? Did it agree you?? I have the SAME problem with shape tape... I HATE shape tape but I'll be dammed if I'm going to waste my money!
Christi H. If your skin isn’t too mature, shape tape should work out decently if you do something like put on a pearlescent primer underneath the area where you apply it (it’s not a primer but something like Mac strobe cream should even do the trick), or mixing in a small drop of oil with a small amount of the concealer before applying it to your face. But I suggest using a light, color-less oil, like squalane for example.

Yet ANOTHER reason I love your videos... I bought this concealer, tried it ONCE, and put it in the bag with all my other concealer "fails". When I saw which concealer you were featuring in this video, I paused, rescued the Born This Way out of my "concealer fail jail" and applied it right along with you (light handed brush technique). Now I'm a convert!!! I'll still use my Shape Tape when I do heavier makeup, but I'm excited the BTW wasn't a waste of money after all. I was just applying it wrong! THANK YOU WAYNE!!! 🤗🤗🤗

My fav concealer too! Shape tape and NARS emphasize my fine lines, once I discovered BTW I’ve never looked back. (Shoo fly shoo!)
Good to know. I didn't even try it at sephora because I remembered that a previous version of too faced foundation was so dry.
You don't look very "old"... Do you have mature skin? I'm finding I have begun to have fine lines with dry under eye (even with moisturizer and color corrector), but I've been using shape tape. I hate shape tape and now only use a tiny bit on my inner corner. If you also have those issues does it work for them?

They told me it was for larger coverage areas /higher use habits. I use mine on my upper chest, I’d have blown through two small bottles by now and still have plenty of this stuff, it’s great.

Too Faced has been releasing some very nice complexion products in the last year. I found their new Peach Perfect foundation really lovely and a better version of Fenty's. Although it does not have the same shade range, they did recently extend it.
I’ve been using this concealer for about a year now and from a normal 30 year old with lines and textured skin I can attest this is by far the best concealer I’ve EVER used, it is truly amazing!

Thank you for your videos. Your makeup application tutorials are very helpful to me. I've special interest in concealers and foundations that DO NOT magnify wrinkles. I'm 61 and don't use any of the above because it makes the wrinkles more apparent and brings more focus to them. Trying your methods and product info. Thanks again.
Wow! OK! Thank you! I won't use Nars products because they test on animals. And I don't like the flat matte, it doesn't look good on the undereye for me, but the side where you used less and a brush looks soooooooooo pretty!!
Agreed Wayne, really love this stuff as a concealer and your right tons of product too. I have to admit though I like the flower concealer too, it’s much much thinner but I like the applicator. I Love Wayne’s videos, one of the few you tubers I trust 100%

I found the Too Faced BTW concealer online at Nordstrom Rack for half price so I grabbed it..I have never tried it before but after just one use I was in love..Im 46 so to find one that is so smoothing is just amazing..I cant wait to try the BTW foundation next..

The sales girl at Sephora recommended it at JCPenney. I love it!!!! It doesn’t set in lines at all. I love tarte as it’s coverage is the best as well! I’m using both... I can’t decide.

This recommendation changed my makeup-life! I'm also a die hard Nars fan, but this product feels so much lighter and covers just as well without the creasing. I don't contour often but I think I will buy a deeper shade and give it a try! Thanks again! :)

Brittnee Savage, really? Cool. Is it drying or moisturizing? I’m 36 and no matter what I do; my under-eye area looks so dry.
Kari Tacoma It’s definitely on the hydrating side. I actually returned an extremely drying one for this. It has hyaluronic acid which provides moisture and helps fine lines. You should try this concealer if you can! Do you bake with a setting powder? That could also be drying you out.
No matter what you do, your makeup always looks flawless. You should do a full face of makeup you don’t like lol.

Literally everything your saying I have tried to explain to my friend that she didnt need so much of everything on her face. I agree with Queen X.....my issue with ANY concealer is they just make things worse ....they either end up looking horribly dry, settle into wrinkles or highlight fat loss channels and I look like a theater macabre character :-)
Dina Wiltshire I blend my concealer out with a damp beauty blender or whatever kind of sponge and it helps that SO MUCH. it doesn't look dry or cakey. maybe try that? hope it helps!

I make sure my under eye moisturizer sinks then, apply maybelline (i think age rewind) concealer, apply with concealer brush, then Pat with damp beauty blender, , powder very lightly, then tap just in outer corner a bit of a good quality oil (I use moringa , but others use jojoba, or Argan Marula, etc). Works very well for my dry thin under eye area 😊
Nice tips.....thank you so much .....I love oils and own quite a few including jojoba, Argan, sea buck thorn.....I also picked up some organic Shea Butter to help (Janice from JLBacktobasics) ....I think the techniques shared here will help minimize the 'ghoul' result from traditional application :-) big hugs
I’ve tried every concealer out there and my favorite is bareMinerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum. I notice it helps brighten up my eyes and I just look much better when using it.

As an older woman, I’m not sure how to apply my concealer. I was taught to use a small amount under eye and BENEATH my foundation. Now, I see younger woman using concealer on top of foundation. Just so happens that the TF Born this way foundation works very well for my dry, mature skin (same with the powder, doesn’t settle into fine lines). Which is the better concealer technique for women over 45? Thank you so much, you’re so amazing and talented!💜
Jacqueline Cooper I'm an older woman too, 52, I use the above foundation method. It seems to settle less into the fine lines etc around my eyes than doing it the old school way

I’m 40. For spot concealing or color correcting I use concealer under foundation so that I don’t have dots of a different texture/color where I concealed When I use it to highlight, I do it over my foundation. It seems to work best for me that way.

I'm 32 I put my concealer on top of my Foundation I do that under my eye for a fuller coverage to concealed my dark under-eye circles I actually dont like using a peach or orange color corrector then concealer for my under eye
Bought this week before saw the video and I wholeheartedly agree with everything he says. My under eye has been transformed! I still have puffiness to deal with, bit the darkness is gone.
Only other thing I have to deal with is shadow from my thick lenses on my glasses (high prescription, not a candidate for laser or LASIK) but is has still helped a bit in that regard too. Not perfect, but better

Lisa Fenix I've pretty acne prone skin because my skin is so sensitive but I haven't noticed this concealer irritating my skin at all! I hope that was helpful :)
Lisa Fenix I know exactly what you mean. I am very careful and do extensive research before putting anything on my face. I don't break out much at all anymore. I read reviews of products and use a website called acne mantra. You can find out how acne prone yoyr skin is and you can look up ingredients of any product and copy and paste it and it will tell you what ingredients are comedogenic and if it's just mildly or highly. I can use products that have a few that are mildly comedogenic but I stay away from highly, although the goal is none and so far the only makeup I ever found that had none is Clinique. I'm going to look up this one.
It should but it does have fragrance and coconut so becareful.
@lisa fenix Yikes! strike my previous comment on Clinique! The chubby in the nude foundation has no comedogenic ingredients but some of the other products do!
I have hormonal acne prone skin as well and I LOVE this product. I don't notice it making it worse at all
Too faced is hands down my favorite product line. I've been using BTW foundation for a few years and I just discovered this concealer a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it.

I agree. I am 41 and I don't really have any wrinkles yet but if put concealer on it makes me look like I have a ton. Shape tape is WAY too dry and makes my under eyes look crinkly and old. I have tried literally ever concealer, high end and drugstore and this is hands down the best I have ever used.

This is my holy grail as I have serious under eye circles. Skin in the under eye area is very thin and the blue underneath shows. This is the only concealor that works magically.

Tried and do use this concealer, however, it does have drawbacks. 1) it does accentuate under eye wrinkles, 2) it's on the dry side so using it on mature skin, again on the under eye area will bring those lines out, 3) after a few hours is when you will really see the eye wrinkles worst. Overall it is a great concealer, especially for oily or combination skin. For dry or mature skin, I found that mixing a little jojoba oil with it helps. Also using it after you've put a generous amount of undereye cream on. It is great to have so much product to use. I have two colors, use the lighter one for highlighter. Thanks for everything!
