Completely agree! My first video is just footage of a book with me talking over it. 😂 BookTube has definitely done a lot for my confidence and ability to speak in public.
Hello! I have come across your channel quite recently, but have found that your videos have been helpful to me just as much as this one. It's great to see you supporting, commenting and interacting with others within the community. I'm really getting to enjoy it here.
I relate to those excuses, and that's why my own channel is as good as stagnant. I personally like unedited channels which feel more naturalistic. This has inspired me to re-resume one day. Well said 🐕
Thank you for this video! I have been debating on creating my own channel for years and my excuse has always been the technology piece of it. Well, that and who wants to watch a grandma talk about books?!? But you’ve convinced me!
I recently have been making vlogs/book videos and recently decided to just go all in on book videos because I love talking books and then this video hit my home page. Thank you for this sign I didn't know I needed.
Thank you for this! I love watching book tube, especially ones that feel like a real person does them. Booktube fills a space to talk about books for those of us who don't have that in real life. ❤
Just wanted to pop back to this video and say that it encouraged me to start my own booktube despite being quite nervous :) I often thought that maybe booktube didn't need another booktuber and I was better just being a viewer but you and this video helped me realize that all of our opinions and ideas are valuable whether we express them in videos or only in comments/posts and that booktube would be a welcoming community no matter what. So thank you from this wee booktube newbie! And happy reading 😊😊
Thank you for this wonderful inspiration - it was the final push I needed to start my own channel. I have no idea if anyone will want to watch it, as I buy bargain books to read and then re-sell, but I have been having fun anyway and that is the most important thing!
I was worried about editing when I started and it really ended up not being an issue. I am so glad I got past my initial concerns and started my channel. The number of people that I have met both in person and online has been incredible
I started my own Booktube channel last year, because I love books and I'd just given up writing and was missing everything about it. But after 27 videos I only had two followers - one was my son - and a handful of views, so I figured I was probably just boring people with my chatting. Anyway, enjoyed the video and hope others find it inspiring.
I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps I should have said that you have to put yourself about a bit in the beginning comment on a lot of people and go a lot of tags. The problem with BookTube is if one doesn't engage then UA-cam isn't going to help people find you. Still that is disheartening but I hope you'll give it another go. All the best
I think it's worth mentioning here that I started my channel in the Fall of 2012 but didn't reach my 1000th subscriber until February, 2020. 7 1/2 years. Just like Mark said, I can *guarantee* that you will find your audience. That said, please don't let it be subscriber numbers that motivate you. Do it because you love to talk about what you read. Turning it into a rat race is one of the best ways to kill any enjoyment you might have.
@@NicholasOfAutrecourt Honestly, it was never about the numbers, it was always about the books. That and giving a shout out to lesser known authors. And as much as I'm used to talking to myself, it was getting harder to find the motivation and time to keep going with the videos. I figure I gave it a go and it just wasn't to be. I guess the world just wasn't ready to hear all about my love of romance. Thanks for the encouragement, though.

I love this video. I did an unrelated channel to booktube for a few years.. (I have since removed them because life moved in ). I never did any editing (I still love unedited channels).. my dog knocked over my camera once or twice, I said silly things… but I have, to this day, many friends still from those days.. it was nothing but a positive experience. The only thing that made me stop was the terrible upload speeds I had. It began to take far too much time. But you put a wonderful case forward and I hope people take you up and start doing this
Yes! I started a BookTube channel 2 years ago and made 3 videos... I've since deleted them... but they would take several hours to upload, and frequently there would be errors and I'd have to start that several-hour process all over again... for a 10 minute video. It was maddening! But still, I'm thinking of rebooting my channel, lol.

Hey Elvis, was just going through your video, I'm from India, The way you speak, so calmly, confidently and with that beautiful poise, it's really amazing I've got inspired by your video, the way you communicate nicely, calmly and with great points about starting a Booktube. Thankyou so Much for your Great work with this video!! and all' the Best for your future endeavours too 🙏🏻😇 - Ambar
Thank you so much for sharing this video - it was the motivational speech I needed to just rip the band-aid off and jump in. (I just started my BookTube channel this week.) UA-cam could use more encouraging videos such as this. 😎📚👍
Wow thank you for sharing this video!!!! For years, I have wanted to start a UA-cam channel but never knew what to talk about. As of late, I’ve been dying to talk about and review books but I’m shy so I haven’t started. My husband and I even bought a vlogging camera but I’ve been so scared and getting bogged down by all the “how to get 1000 subscribers in 30 seconds!!!!” videos. But everything you said is on point and inspiring. I’m going to start. Thank you for posting!
I started a booktube channel for just the reason you mentioned: I wanted an excuse to share my views on books. My family got tired of hearing me go on & on and the videos on my knitting channel were running too long when I tried to tack book content on at the end. My cohost had to keep rushing me to finish so our videos wouldn’t consistently run over 2 hours (oops). Because I started just for the joy of talking forever on end about books, how fast my channel grows is not a big deal for me. It’s something I do as the mood strikes me. I’m so happy to have found and become a part of the booktube community!
The conversational, mostly non-edited format of your video is part of what keeps bringing me back. I find your videos relaxing, engaging, and interesting. Thanks for another great video and for encouraging the person who is on the fence about starting a booktube. I’m okay with being called a guy as we use it now; I don’t know that I’d love older usages of the word, though! Per etymonline, one definition of the word guy has the following etymology: “‘fellow,’ 1847, American English; earlier, in British English (1836) ‘grotesquely or poorly dressed person,’ originally (1806).” I first heard about the 1806 definition from Little Women where Jo March was told not to be “such a guy”. It was a long time before I realized that she wasn’t merely being told not to be a tomboy! So as long as you’re not dissing how I dress, I’m okay with being called a guy! 😂
Well I think we all are to be honest, but what is failure? It depends on what your own target or goal is for a channel. If I wanted to have 20K subscribers then yes I'm a failure but if I wanted to make new friends and have fun then I succeeded 😉
@@BookTimewithElvis Well, you made me really think about what I said and basically I used the wrong wrong. I should had used likable… because I don’t need a lot of subscribers at least 200. I just want to chat, laugh, and be in this community about books. Yes, you are a success because I enjoy your channel… thank you because of you I’m thinking about it 💚📚🫡
I’ve really been enjoying your channel lately. I started one myself back in 2017 but have since stopped uploading for many reasons but mostly because of some personal/family concerns. I do hope to come back in the future (at least for some of my favorite booktube events). I do enjoy being part of the conversation. Recently, I was in the hospital and really appreciated having your videos to keep me company. Thanks for the interesting content! Wishing you all the best!
Wow such a lovely comment makes it worthwhile thank you so much. Sorry to hear about your health problems I do so hope all is better. Yes it would be wonderful if you were back making videos. All the best.
So very encouraging, thank you for sharing. "Suspect if they've read a book" I love it :D As a homeschool mama who watches book tube to help me find books for my large bookish family, can totally understand that one. We are so bookish, I'm considering starting a separate book tube channel just so I can talk books more! "Actively seeking their destruction and downfall" is the sentiment my oldest two had as they walked into a popular bookstore chain and realized they carried no Nancy Drew and few true classic literature. 🤣
I've several, but I have them double over as lore channels too. Mostly I do Tolkien-booktube on one channel and horror on another. The handle I'm using is for Robert E. Howard (mostly Conan the Barbarian, Kull, Red Sonja and such) so that honestly I'm having more fun doing booktube than almost any other content as it gets me reading, talking and debating with others about books.
❤❤Mark. Thanks for inspiration. I live in Downey California which we have a large speaking community now which I was the first Mexicano American kid, now no one reads. Well, I have all these books that I read but have no one to share it with. I just finished some great psychology books and Downey library I volunteer in used book area and slays finding new stuf…. Ok. Ill take a risk.. thanks again..
Thanks for this! I am about to start my own channel and your thoughts are truly appreciated. I hope you’re right and people will like my foibles and eccentricities. I know I do!
I have dabbled with YT for many years, but this time, i decided that i am going to do it for fun, as a hobby. I remember my first video and i started with ' I don't know if anyone is going to watch me, i don't think i am popular enough to make this a go.....' but i stuck with it. I am embarking on revision number 5 of my channel hahaha but this time i am settled with myself to just be myself and make a go of it! I am in my 50's and always wondered who would want to watch me rather some some jazzy younger person, but hey, i'm here fo rthe books and the fun and hopefully to make some bookish friends along the way, thanks and great video!
Hi, Mark! I've just posted my first video today, and I gave you a shout out because I found your video to be super encouraging. Thanks so much for that. 🙃
I had been thinking about starting a booktube channel after recently getting back into reading again and I just wanted to say thank you! This video gave me the push to actually do it, and I'm so glad I did. Thanks again 😊
Mark I wanted to come by and just say “Thank you!” Because of you I took the plunge last month and started a Booktube channel and it’s been a life-changing experience. Yes, I’m extremely self-conscious, have tremendous social anxiety, and suffer from low self esteem, but the Booktube community has been so supportive or encouraging. I’ve so enjoyed becoming a part of this community. I had no idea I was missing this in my life. Again thank you! Words can’t express how much I appreciate you and what you’ve done for me.
I stumbled across your channel today and I am so glad I did! I took the plunge this year and started my channel and completely agree with everything you said. I had all the concerns you mentioned and since I started, all of those fears slowly melted away. This is such a great community and I am so thankful that you are encouraging others to join. The more bookish content creators, the better!
I've been wanting to create my own booktube channel for years now and I finally did it thanks to you!!! Do you ever feel do you ever feel doubt and think that your videos are boring and no one would want to watch them? I'm fighting those feelings right now 😩
@@beyondtherequiredreading Thank you for your kind words I would say your feelings are completely normal certainly I felt that way. You need to bring more people to your channel by commenting like mad on other people's channels especially other new booktubers in the beginning 😉👍
I'm an occasional book tuber. My channel does more with fountain pens. But your video popped up while I was writing the script for a book review. And your comments about confidence and presence in making a video are very true! I've improved a lot as a public speaker thanks to doing UA-cam since 2007. I've learned some camera skills and audio skills as well.
I'm glad I found this video. I just enjoy documenting my thoughts on what I've read; while also keeping my editing skills sharp. I've been reading a lot of older works recently like Lovecraft and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series and its been an absolute blast. 🙂❤📚
Great video and full of interesting points. I am passionate about books and want to get involved in the book tube community. I have an existing YT channel and I can't decide if I should begin book tube content on there or if it's better to start a channel exclusively for that content. Or maybe it just doesn't matter!
I started a channel back in 2017 and deleted it after a few months because I was just so nervous. Been thinking about starting one again this year, just not sure what to start with.
I honestly think that every wannabe BookTuber who watches this video will take steps to start. FULL of confidence boosting goodness 🌱. BTW. Just been to B&M Bargains to buy a phone tripod with light 😱. Your inspiration was the cherry on the top and I'm now 💯% certainly going to be starting a channel. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I really needed to hear this. I totally relate to the public speaking issue as well the I can't edit part but after evaluating videos I tried to learn it. I finally started a channel a few days ago and I'm happy. Thank you once again :)
Enjoyed the video. I fit into that category of someone thinking of doing a channel but hesitant because of all the reasons you listed. Then my daughter-in-law got tired of my talking about it and took me to buy a camera, then taught me how to use it, then taught me how to upload onto UA-cam and told me she expected to see a video soon. So, I was committed. I actually kind of enjoy it. I don't have any talent for this but, who cares, anyone who doesn't like it doesn't have to watch. Surprisingly, there are actually a few people who do watch.
The reason I don’t start a BookTube channel, even though I have much to say about books, is not because ‘I am not a good speaker’ but because I have a psychological barrier that arises when I speak. It even manifest when I speak on a phone. I have to really psych myself up to make a phone call to someone I don’t know. I know the exact day this problem started. I was in grade 2, nearly 60 years ago, and my kind and understanding teacher was ill and we had a relief teacher. After a couple of days this teacher stood me in front of the class and made me say words and when I couldn’t pronounce a word properly she would rap me over knuckles with a ruler and told me to speak clearly. At that stage I had been working with a speech therapist for three years and would have speech therapy for about another 3 years after that.
Sorry to hear. Some folks have no idea the trauma they create on young minds that last. I will call you the silent booktuber. There are many people that support only with no channel and that's fine too.
I really, really needed this video. I'm a huge reader and I recently decided... wait, why don't I transition my content into more of a book-centered channel? The views and response have not been what I hoped, and I can't tell you how much I appreciated this video. Hopefully I can keep going and come back to this comment later and add positive progress! Cheers, Elvis!
Hi there no indeed the "error" is mine as I removed my wishlist :) I hope to be moving house next year and I decided to try to limit my new intake of books until after the move :D
Hello! Your video from a year ago popped up, got a new sub 😊 i also had to look up stephen donahuge after you mentioned him posting 15 videos a day...omg he has almost 7.5K videos!! How is that even possible?! 😅😮 and im not trying to sound rude but he doesnt even have that many subscribers, considerably speaking, to be putting out that much content imo. Of course i know its not just about how many subscribers. But ive never seen a channel with that many videos! anyway enjoyed your video!
What a heartwarming and welcoming video! =) I'm still pretty new and really have no time in my life to make UA-cam videos but I'm still doing it, LOL! So I can personally speak to the point that if you want to make time for it, you will!! Thanks for the great video!
@@eyesonindie well it's one of the best things I've done so I'm rather enthusiastic about it so yes I do hope it encourages some people who are in two minds about it to take the plunge 😀👍
While listening to your video, I searched book tube and you were right. Three out of five videos were plastered with women’s faces.(and other body parts) And if I were shallow, I would question their IQ
I tried to be a book reviewer on UA-cam. I liked doing it. I still want to make videos. I still read a lot of books but I know nobody will watch the reviews I make. I made a lot of book reviews and I took them down because they didn't get views. I made more reviews of books I read twice and they didn't get views either. I have three videos reviews and three audio books up right now that been up four months ago and none of them had more than 100 views. And If you want to watch my Guitar/Bass most of them are under 100 under the Rocksmith Rocker as well. They have been up for a long time and there are over a hundred videos. The ones with over hundred views have more views because watched them myself. I know for a fact that people don't want to watch videos made by me.
What a nice video! If I wasn't already a Booktuber, I'd start a channel. If I wasn't already a subscriber, I'd subscribe! You have a nice gentle and encouraging way of speaking.
Hi Mark, - just stumbled onto your channel, - liked what you had to say re starting a UA-cam channel, - my own passion would be music, which I've been thinking about attempting for a while, - reason I was looking at a few Book Tube slots is because I feel that while there are plenty of music channels, very few give much historical into on the music discussed etc, and as I love the biographical background to the careers of both musicians and seminal albums, thought there might be space for covering each artist/album by padding it out with directing the viewer to a good book on the artist etc, of which I have many. Thanks for the nudge! :) And just subbed, you and Elvis (now there's a whole series of potential You Tube content !!! :) Cheers, Gus, and keep on hauling.
If I did a Booktube; it would be spars, filming gloved hands and the book, or playing Minecraft. And it would be books that a slowly read, or even book lists and review for collage and self-education soft guides.
Hi Elvis! I really like the way you talked about this topic. Most of the advices out there are very impersonal sometimes. I started with a topic in my Channel, but this year I want to start a booktube instead. I wonder how successful are the booktube channels in Spanish? I guess I will see. Thank you for the video.
I'm trying to improve my Spanish, so I've been looking for more Spanish Booktubers to follow. But it's so hard to find any BTers, even English-speaking, who read the same books I do (nonfiction), sadly.
I just started like 10 days ago, but you know what took me so long? I mostly use the library and kindle, so I don't have a bookshelf to sit in front of and I thought my channel wouldn't look good enough!
Thanks Sam and welcome. I understand your concerns certainly I've had bookshelf envy in the past. Sometimes I sit in front of shelves sometimes not maybe it's better not to as they could be a distraction. Anyway I'm really glad you've started a channel I'm sure you won't regret it 👍
I feel like we're friends😂 It feels like I've known you all my life. Soft, relatable, encouraging & all. Thank youuuuuuuuu😊
Loved the video, I’ve been tempted to start for ages to try and get reading back in to my routine. I just feel like I’d be a fraud talking about books when I don’t have much time to read. (I know this is an excuse 😂)
Thanks so much and don't feel like that just talk about the things you are able to talk about a lot of my videos are about books I read years and years ago. Go on give it a try I'm sure you won't regret it.
"I'm a slow reader," "I don't have the time," "I'm not a good speaker" ... to which I respond: JOIN THE CLUB. As if any of those things stopped us. 😂
Exactly right 🤣

Hey Elvis, was just going through your video, I'm from India,
The way you speak, so calmly, confidently and with that beautiful poise, it's really amazing
I've got inspired by your video, the way you communicate nicely, calmly and with great points about starting a Booktube.
Thankyou so Much for your Great work with this video!!
and all' the Best for your future endeavours too 🙏🏻😇

Thank you so much for sharing this video - it was the motivational speech I needed to just rip the band-aid off and jump in. (I just started my BookTube channel this week.) UA-cam could use more encouraging videos such as this. 😎📚👍
Thank you so much I have just subscribed to your channel you are doing very well for just a week into it and such lovely produced videos :)
I am glad it helped best of luck with it and do not worry subs will come :)
Well said, Mark. There is room for everyone and what a fantastic community we can be! - MJ
Thanks MJ
I started a booktube channel for just the reason you mentioned: I wanted an excuse to share my views on books. My family got tired of hearing me go on & on and the videos on my knitting channel were running too long when I tried to tack book content on at the end. My cohost had to keep rushing me to finish so our videos wouldn’t consistently run over 2 hours (oops). Because I started just for the joy of talking forever on end about books, how fast my channel grows is not a big deal for me. It’s something I do as the mood strikes me.
I’m so happy to have found and become a part of the booktube community!
That is wonderful Tahlia and I am happy to get to know you :)
oh my goodness! i needed this push, but honestly you have such a great spirit, so calming and kind. thank you!! im so happy i found you!!
I'm so glad! Thank you for the lovely comment :)
Wow fascinating thank you so much :) I love learning things like that :)
That’s it… I might just start one now!
Great idea mate 🤣
@@BookTimewithElvis I’m going to call it Book Time With Schmelvis.
You're Sooo Adorable Brother, Lots of Love to You!! ❤
Love this. Thank you. Truly motivational.
Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration! I am contemplating starting my own channel, and you make think I can do it, so thanks again! 😊
Go for it! I am glad I have given you pause for thought Kris, good luck and let me know if you take the plunge.
I’m starting my booktube 11/01/23 and after watching this video it boost my confidence thank you ❤
I'm so glad! Good Luck!
My excuse is I’m just scared. Scared of failure.
Yes, you are a success because I enjoy your channel… thank you because of you I’m thinking about it 💚📚🫡
@@Mah_Sh_ell I hope you give it a shot and when you do let me know and I will be happy to subscribe. Good luck and thank you for your kind words :)
@@BookTimewithElvis I hope that I can spark up the nerve to… And Thank you so much for responding and being so kind as well…
I thought all those things before starting my channel. Eventually, I just did it.
That's great 👍 I'll check it out
I’ve really been enjoying your channel lately.
@@BookTimewithElvis Thank you. Have a lovely week!
Sounds like a great plan. Good luck and keep in touch
Thanks, this was very encouraging
This was the first time watching one of your videos. This was lovely. I just may heed your advice in the near future.
Please do! 🙏 And good luck if you do 😀
Took your advice... I have one now, too.
Wonderful I'll check it out 😀
I've several, but I have them double over as lore channels too.
They sound very interesting I shall have to check them out :)
I just started a audiobook channel and wow its a full time job, so appreciate any advice :)
Wonderful I shall check it out for sure :)
That was really nice. :) Maybe one day I will try it, that's a big maybe :P
You should!
I would say it is worth the risk, good luck and let me know how you get on :)
This was really good motivation for me! I’m going to try better 🎉😂
I’m nervous but possibly will try it. I did create my blog site and now I’m settling into what i want to post.
Well I wish you very good luck with it :)
This inspires me to start my own Book Channel ❤
Thanks for this! I am about to start my own channel and your thoughts are truly appreciated. I hope you’re right and people will like my foibles and eccentricities. I know I do!
Best of luck! I'll certainly check it out 😃
I have dabbled with YT for many years, but this time, i decided that i am going to do it for fun, as a hobby.
Exactly the right reasons 😃👍 good luck and I'll check out your channel
Hi, Mark! I've just posted my first video today, and I gave you a shout out because I found your video to be super encouraging. Thanks so much for that. 🙃
That's wonderful Christian I'm glad you found the video helpful and welcome to BookTube!!
@@BookTimewithElvis Thanks so much! I'm excited to be a part of it.
I had been thinking about starting a booktube channel after recently getting back into reading again and I just wanted to say thank you! This video gave me the push to actually do it, and I'm so glad I did. Thanks again 😊
Go for it! I look forward to checking it out :D
Watching this and hearing what you had to say, actually spurred me on to create a bookish channel myself. Thank you!
Wonderful! I will check it out :)
That's really wonderful thank you for letting me know and I wish you all the best. I'll definitely check out your channel ☺️
Aw thank you so much for your lovely words :)
Thank you for this video! I just started my book tube channel and i have similar feelings about being afraid to be in front of camera!
You can do it! I shall definitely check it out, good luck :)
yeah, I’m going to start my booktube journey soon! nice to hear perspective from others already doing it
You can do it!
ya man, I just finished my first live stream book review, yay!🐱@@BookTimewithElvis
For me the best schedule, is no schedule. Whenever I get around to it, I post a video.
Exactly just do what works best for you 😉
I'm an occasional book tuber. My channel does more with fountain pens. But your video popped up while I was writing the script for a book review. And your comments about confidence and presence in making a video are very true! I've improved a lot as a public speaker thanks to doing UA-cam since 2007. I've learned some camera skills and audio skills as well.
Wonderful I'll check out your channel ☺️
I'm glad I found this video. I just enjoy documenting my thoughts on what I've read; while also keeping my editing skills sharp.
I've been reading a lot of older works recently like Lovecraft and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series and its been an absolute blast. 🙂❤📚
That's great! I've just popped over to your channel to subscribe 😁👍
I appreciate this very much, I want to start reading public domain books on my channel, but...well...I'm a little country. 😅👀
No matter you should still give it a go. I love a country accent :D
Great video and full of interesting points. I am passionate about books and want to get involved in the book tube community. I have an existing YT channel and I can't decide if I should begin book tube content on there or if it's better to start a channel exclusively for that content. Or maybe it just doesn't matter!
blah i just found this video and went to the channel to find that you have left booktube! I hope you are doing well!
I started my book tube on my b day not so long ago and got 5 sub and im so happy ty for the inspo

I honestly think that every wannabe BookTuber who watches this video will take steps to start.

I really needed to hear this. I totally relate to the public speaking issue as well the I can't edit part but after evaluating videos I tried to learn it. I finally started a channel a few days ago and I'm happy. Thank you once again :)

Wonderful video Mark! 😊
Thank you! 😃
Thanks so much for this encouraging video! I really appreciate your kind words.
Good luck with your endeavour :)
Thats wonderful and I am happy to be one of your new subscribers :)
I understand and of course that is a very valid reason though I am sure you would find a lot of support :)
That is wonderful I am glad to hear it very good luck to you :)
Is that closing music your signature tune? That would persuade me to sign up to anyone with such good taste.
Oh wonderful yes it was, thank you so much :)
I don’t know if the error is on my side or not but I attempted to look at your wish list and it would just go to mine
Hi there no indeed the "error" is mine as I removed my wishlist :) I hope to be moving house next year and I decided to try to limit my new intake of books until after the move :D
Wonderful subject and I bet you helped someone decide to give booktube a whirl!
Not tempted Janice? :D
Love the video! So motivational 😊
Thank you so very much I appreciate that :D
What a heartwarming and welcoming video! =) I'm still pretty new and really have no time in my life to make UA-cam videos but I'm still doing it, LOL! So I can personally speak to the point that if you want to make time for it, you will!! Thanks for the great video!

While listening to your video, I searched book tube and you were right. Three out of five videos were plastered with women’s faces.(and other body parts) And if I were shallow, I would question their IQ
You are amazing
thank you
I tried to be a book reviewer on UA-cam.
I understand it is frustrating but hang in there Peter :)
Sir, yes sir.
This is awesome video, I made the most awesome friends here on booktube. Very good points . I really been enjoying making all kinds of videos.
Thank you so very much :)
What a nice video! If I wasn't already a Booktuber, I'd start a channel. If I wasn't already a subscriber, I'd subscribe! You have a nice gentle and encouraging way of speaking.
Oh thank you!
Cheers, Gus, and keep on hauling.
Wonderful I am glad you found us and that you subbed. Very good point about the music channels. Thanks again and looking forward to hearing from you.
@@BookTimewithElvis Thanks, Mark, and will certainly be dropping in again, catch you soon, cheers, Gus :)
Thank you! This is really inspiring
You're so welcome!
Great tips, Mark. Being on Booktube has introduced me to so many books I'd otherwise not have considered.
Thanks a lot Jim :)
If I did a Booktube; it would be spars, filming gloved hands and the book, or playing Minecraft. And it would be books that a slowly read, or even book lists and review for collage and self-education soft guides.
I think that sounds pretty good :)
Hi Elvis! I really like the way you talked about this topic. Most of the advices out there are very impersonal sometimes. I started with a topic in my Channel, but this year I want to start a booktube instead. I wonder how successful are the booktube channels in Spanish? I guess I will see. Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much and good luck with your channel. I wish my Spanish was better ;)
