Brutal weather, Mark! Hope you see some sun mixed in there soon. It is grey, rainy and warmish at the moment in southern Ontario but supposed to be getting colder. We’ll see. Love the lights! They do brighten up your space. Your baking looks so great!

Slow and steady wins the race with Notre Dame 😂. I’m finally in Book 3 and liking it more and more with every page. Love the decorations, beautiful Elvis and the bread fresh out of the oven 😊Hope you get some sunshine over there soon!

Love the Aubrey-Maturin series.I am reading book 3, H.M.S. Surprise which is great, although have to agree with Aaron that Post Captain is my fave so far. My husband read 16 of them back in the 90s and has recommended them for years. And yes as a Ontarian, I can tell you there is a Wellington, Ontario southwest of Toronto with a canal with locks and everything. 😊

Your table set up looks so inviting. The intro was great fun - learning about other traditions. I have never really thought about the ghost story aspect of Christmas traditions. Looking up (not very scary) Victorian ghost stories now. Oh, and if don't have them, yaktrax or the like for your boots can be helpful for getting about in winter.

No judgement of their tradition, and I’m sure the older kids love dressing up and I’m sure the younger would love to do the same in time. I can smell your cookies!! 😋 yum

I did wonder what the heck was going on at the beginning 😯😂. The snow looks beautiful even if it’s tough to walk in, glad Elvis loves it though Mark.
