I had a lot of fun with this build and experimenting with various techniques. I’m curious to see how it fills in and appears later on. I also can’t wait to bring this up to a larger and more detailed scale that I can’t wait to share. Stay tuned! Enjoy the video, and have a great weekend SerpaSquad!
Yo serpa I've really wanted you to make a electric blue and purple crayfish darkwater setupthats overplayed with tons of purple plants of course may as well put in purple and blue neon tetras. Your biggest fan Lawson Soza❤❤❤
Today I have a 55gal standard aquarium that I converted into a tropical vivarium for my four Whites Tree Frogs. I've been inspired by you every step of the way, and I continue to want to build better, not only for the wow factor but because I know it makes my froggies happier. Your channel is a gift! Thank you so much for the quality information you provide us.
I do have a question, though: I took a fake rock small watering dish from Petco and sawed it to make it flat on one side, then gluing the shim I cut off to the bottom to act as a weight differential so it won't put too much pressure on the wall. I want to glue this to the glass of my tank for the frogs so they can bask closer to the heat lamp if they wish, but it just seems to be too heavy to support them without the hot glue peeling away. Is there a good alternative adhesive I can try that's nontoxic and can be applied with frogs present?
This looks phenomenal, Tanner! I feel like it would be so calming to just chill and enjoy watching the mist curl around the bottom of the container with all the greenery in the background. Awesome work!
Hi there. My 20 year old son died and is being turned into soil. I want to make a small self-sustaining terrarium and was told that you were the go-to youtube channel for this sort of project. I want to be able to just put it together, seal it and never open it again. I may try to put a tiny ceramic pot he made in it. I don't know if insects or a bonsai are viable for this, either. I know nothing, I just want part of him to live forever.
He normally does regular maintenance on his set up so it might not look like how you set it up forever. Also the larger the terrarium the longer it will sustain itself. Life in Jars is another YT channel you might want to look at that focuses more on long term terrariums. Both are really great channels though
This is definitely a calming design. Like a zen forest, somewhere I would not mind living. I'm surprised you didn't add springtails or isopods. I'm sure there's a good combo that would work great.
I really appreciate that you very quickly moved past the idea of using the container that inspired the piece in the first place. It says a lot about the creative process as a whole, and goes to show your maturity as an artist!
Love all the recent projects! Its been great to watch your builds evolve over the years. You have given me a lot of great insight for my own setups so thanks a bunch!
I remember a short while after I started watching this channel i had an extremely vivid dream that I still think about to this day. I was walking by myself through a nature trail when i spotted through all the green, a mossy fallen log. I walked up to it, and thought to myself, "man, that's some really good moss!" And then the dream was over. I will never forget it so long as I live.
How lovely! I feel like adding some cleaning insects would be prudent given how easily mold might take root here, but other than that 10/10! I love these slices of the natural world!
I work at a flower shop for my part time job.....and the amount of different types of glass the owner has....and now I HAVE...😂 from seeing one and asking her if I can buy it....but then she just gives it to me....I have a bunch of those round glass cylinders like you have in this post and I made a really cool aqua tank out of a long cylinder and planted a bunch off Amazon swords. Looks fantastic. Great video man....Love the new creation!
Tanner you are a true artist, I love to see the cedar wood stand and the jungle vines, it’s a great aesthetic. I hope you use the other container eventually!!
Do you think you'll do another update video, showing off the animal room and all the setups that have had some time to mature. Those are some of my favorite videos and I feel like we haven't had one in a while
This one is truly beautiful, even before everything has taken over and even without mist there is something about this one that stands out. Those mini orchids are amazing and I have to look into if I am able to get some of those here. Thank you for the video :)
Looks like you figured out how to make the fog rise by limiting the wide open top decreasing evaporation rates in the air column. Good work, the wick is also employed well using polyester yarn and it wont break down like the cotton wick does. Crochet or braid the yarn for a thicker vine. I also use it to make rain droplets in my vivs vs spray watering. Much quieter and relaxing.
I guess I've been at this game a long time - I have almost all the components to create this scape - Including the UNS mister & large glass jars! Very inspiring - Thank you!
Im new to your wonderful builds what a collection you must have , Plants , wood etc... I work in Garden Center these lil pieces of water wonders are amazing thank you for sharing your talents
I think this is one of the best of your smaller builds! The choice of wood for the base, the container you used, simply beautiful ❤ I want to make one like this someday!

Please make a bioactive leopard gecko tank, PLEASE!!!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺
I agree that this is one of your best "Jungle" works. The tiny plants and the mister really bring it home!
I’d love to see a larger version. Like a whole orchid scape…
Yes! A huge orchid scape would be incredible!
Nice to see mini orchids getting recognized on the big stage. Awesome setup!

I’m so sorry for your loss, this is an amazing way to memorialize him
Commenting to help boost so he hopefully sees. Sorry for your loss

This is the most inspiring way to remember a loved one I've seen. I hope your (and his) creation will flourish for many years to come.
Favorite part of the video is how you discuss the process and adjustments made along the way. Bravo!

YES! Thank you for finally doing more with orchids. They are vast and unique
