I am a diehard Ford car guy. But when it comes to trucks, it doesnt matter as long as its american. The diesels from GM, Ford, and Dodge all kick serious ass.
The LB7 duramax is the best sounding duramax IMO, but famous for eating injectors. I have a LMM and it is sweet!! 140,000 km and not even one small issue even after chipping and modding!
@MassiveLemon No, those are Ranchoe offroad shocks, and that truck has a Locking Rear Differential with 4:10 crawl ratio, with is the best offroad ratio ever. I do agree though, most lifted truck you see are not offroad ready, but trust me, this one is.
Where I live in Tennessee, I see plenty of 2003 S10's with over 200,000+ miles. I have even seen plenty of 2003 S10's and Silverados with over 300,000+ miles.
Although the new ones are better because you can get them better with both a bench seat and a touch screen. It sucks that the higher trims don't have a bench seat. In that sense, the lower trims are better.
Thats a nice truck, I really want to hear one of the new 6.6 duramax's straight piped, havn't heard one yet. My dream truck would be a new Chevy 2500 HD 4x4 2 Door with an 8ft bed with the duramax.
This truck is impressive, although i'm more of a ford guy , i have a 2009 ford f-250 king ranch superduty 4x4 which is a heck of a lot nicer than the optinal leather that is cheap in quility. I work for Ford Mo Co and fully understand that the ford actually tows a little bit more than GM diesels. But as we all know, the decision really is chosen over a " FORD GUY " ," CHEVY GUY " basis.
the 2007-present Chevrolet Silverado is assembled in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada Flint, Michigan, United States Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States Pontiac, Michigan, United States Silao, Mexico Caracas, Venezuela
@MassiveLemon i understand what you mean. i hope they never stop making all types of trucks with quality workers/farmers expect. just seems like theres more specs out there for more situations than just work now and i dont know why its considered a shame by some people. in know theres still flat beds and more heavy duty than 1 ton being made. i dont care for top end luxury in a truck either but i like the diversity in them.
@MassiveLemon whats wrong with having 1 vehicle that does it all? a diesel engine can last through more use which goes with being used as a do-all vehicle. isnt it turning into something even more handy than it used to be?
@MassiveLemon theres different specs for certain things like cab size and bed size. theres always complaints. if someone wants a vehicle for one certain task then they should get a specific vehicle. gas mileage + family transport = not much for style or work related tasks. muscle cars get you style + something to work on and have fun with but not much for work related tasks. 1/4 - 1 ton pickup truck nowadays with bigger cabs can do bit of everything even if theyre not fastest or efficient stock.
Is that a factory lift kit? The reason why I asked, is that I saw a silverado 2500. And the rear of the vehicle,from were I was at. The truck looked almost that tall. Any body that knows and can respond would be nice(;
@strumem90 the 6.4 and 7.3 were very, i thought i wouldn't list that 1 because i thought you knew your stuff, and also, the 2011 6.7 powerstroke diesel, in which i have, has 34 more ft lbs of torque, and has 50 more horespower. The Duramax is limited to 21,000 LBs, the Powerstroke can tow 24,000lb +.One thing man, also the Duramax is made by Isusu, powerstroke uses to be made by international, but ford kicked to the curb last year, and dodge's engine is built by Cummins.
@strumem90 also, there is no disel proven to be better than the other, it just comes down to a ford guy, dodge guy, chevy guy typed deal, you know what i mean. I am a long term diesel enthusiest, and graduated from ITT with 2 degrees, 1 in diesel and automotive, and one for extended knowledge, but yea man, you can look up the specs, but the powerstroke has more torque and horespower than the duramax THIS YEAR, and has way more torque than the CUMMINS, which hasn't been improved since 2006 lol
You nailed that hunting part, I don't know how the fuck you did that, but kudos, lol, and I know man, but hey, it's their money, and it's what they want, you know? What do you drive? Just a stock truck of the same sort? Some people do it just to stick out man.
Thats the nicest silverado i've ever seen!!
Great video as always! The Duramaxes are awesome!
thats my favorite truck... good work kyle
Oh my god. This truck is so huge and heavy.... Definitely one of the best.
The Chevy Silverado Is Always Going To Be My Favorite Truck Fuck All The Haters.!
I love the looks of these silverados
Bigger tires and the truck would be perfect
This pick up is one of the best.
now ill drive this to school
lol
NINJAxLEGENDZ if you can afford the diesel for it
same
Same.
This truck is lifted about 6 inches
Can’t beat the Duramax/Allison combination
No 09 what's optional
That is one SWEET TRUCK, ur vids are AWESOME!!!!!
ahhhhhhh it should have been a test drive video as well!

Nice video and very nice truck.
Looking good Kyle with the shades.
Very nice cool lifted diesel truck.

Man oh man that is a beautiful truck.
A UA-camr named itsjusta6 has a 2009 GMC Sierra LMM Duramax in black that he bought in October of 2018
2007 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ 2500, 86,000 miles

Now THAT is some Win and Awesome!
high mileage in a short timespan usually = highway miles which is a good thing, much easier on a vehicle than stop/go city traffic
I really like it when I can drive I want to get this truck
I liked this 2007-13 LTZ/SLT interior better, than the ones now where they all have the same interior it seems.
Although the new ones are better because you can get them better with both a bench seat and a touch screen. It sucks that the higher trims don't have a bench seat. In that sense, the lower trims are better.

I've noticed the lift. How high is the lift on that beast.
i'd be very jealous if I was that F-150 next to it
It has a duramax diesel engine, what kind of gas do you think it uses???
@MassiveLemon i understand what you mean. i hope they never stop making all types of trucks with quality workers/farmers expect. just seems like theres more specs out there for more situations than just work now and i dont know why its considered a shame by some people. in know theres still flat beds and more heavy duty than 1 ton being made. i dont care for top end luxury in a truck either but i like the diversity in them.

WHOAH i need some money to buy this one lol
@MassiveLemon this truck has a locking differential, and as you see, a lift package. it is offorad ready.
also is this a body lift or a suspension lift
can u start this truck somewhere else thats not near the highway so i can hear the motor
Thats a beauty
Could you try to do a in depth review on the new 2014 Chevrolet impala
@brendan0607 it wasnt 2014 that time he filmed the video it was 2010

Diesel up boys!
now this is a truck
Does this have the dreaded DEF FLUID?

We understand the radio works!!!!
No shit!!
@@michaelpetersonjr He was just testing it with different types of music.
Try explaining that to Landon Kaufman instead of me!!
@@michaelpetersonjr That was meant more for both of you.
@@ChristopherPaulBacon-m2l Once again, tell that to Landon instead of me, please!!!!!!!
What size are the wheels and tires?
why are little trucks all 8 cylinder diesels but the big trucks(semi) are 6 cylinder?
I don't like how big the bumper is now. I like the old ones better
madmanownzall no
@@AsianNIGMA Lol.
SIX YEARS LATER :
I was told the 2007 was the last with the LBZ, can anyone confirm that?
@strumem90 the 6.4 and 7.3 were very, i thought i wouldn't list that 1 because i thought you knew your stuff, and also, the 2011 6.7 powerstroke diesel, in which i have, has 34 more ft lbs of torque, and has 50 more horespower. the transmission on the 2007-present Chevrolet Silverado
Transmission
4-speed automatic
6-speed automatic
@gutsboy04 Yes, on 1500 Reg. Cabs and Ext. Cabs and on every 2500 and 3500, it is an option
@saabkyle04 what kind of gas does this use?
My family owns a 1999 LS Extended Cab.
Is that a diesel
Are you dumb
Tracy Rae Johanneck-utphall Really? You didn’t hear him say it?
@HCVguy93 2007.5-2010 Duramax 6.6L is 365hp n 660tq. 2011 Duramax 6.6L LML is 397hp -785tq
@thatsthenik yea, u can actually adjust the height of the fith wheel. I have one on my f-250 king ranch 4x4 diesel.
price??
I would never get the remote start for my duramax. The coils can't warm up that way and it stresses the shit out of the engine starting it cold
Could have shot this video around back of the dealership and with a helper. This was definitely amateur hour. Great truck. Too bad it's a long bed.
what size tires and lift
@strumem90 also, there is no disel proven to be better than the other, it just comes down to a ford guy, dodge guy, chevy guy typed deal, you know what i mean. Do you have it still?
After several years definately not
Let's run the Vin and see where she is
How much ?
You have no chance to park this in Europe :D
My dad has that but it’s a 3500 and I never see them on the road besides his
Longer bed and this truck would be perfect for me
Jeremiah Satterlee it’s already got a long bed.
Justin beiber just had to kill it for me on wanting to buy the truck hahaha jp
You should say it’s got exactly 86xxx miles
@gardmans1 cool where does it say where its made :)
badass
Niceeee truck
it's nice for a chevy
Do a.review on a f150 04-08.king ranch
