My Traffic Lights - September 2021 Update

- Here it is! Finally! My most "up to date" iteration of my basement intersection! I have the Econolite pedestrian signal back in place with LED hand and man units, I have the Crouse-Hinds 4 way beacon in place with its own standalone flasher and I have some slightly modified programming for the side street bicycle signal and the main road advanced green arrow. I have some bigger changes coming including preemption and detection once I get the new racks set up.
I also have a 2 section Municipal signal that I grabbed while on a road trip in Quebec. I finally got it home but I'm not sure where I will be installing it yet! I have some other signals out in my storage shed that I plan on doing something with soon!
I don't talk in this video so you can just enjoy the lights!

Are these Canadian traffic lights? The design looks incredibly similar to those that I've seen in the country. Also, awesome collection!
Thank you! A lot of them are Canadian but there's a good amount of American signals and even some international signals in there too!
Are the lights on the doghouse actually masked?
So. I have 2 left turn signals, 2 pedestrian signals and 3 regular red yellow and green traffic signals. I’m learning about what I need to make them all sequence together. The one left turn signal is a double red that you would typically see in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada, Edmonton and Calgary. I want to build this intersection in my room and I’m not sure which sequencers I would need for the left turn signals. The arrow LEDs are bi-model arrows but I would like the sequences to only be used on one of the left turn signals. The other left turn signal would only flash the green arrow until it sequences to full yellow to the double reds. Feel free to message me! Cause I need more knowledge.
Why were the signals all in hard flash mode in the beginning of the video? And why were some of your signals not even flashing?
Flash mode is always active when the controller first starts up. Pedestrian signals also must be dark during flash mode.
@@TheTrafficTech what would happen if some of the vehicle signals are dark, and the pedestrian signals are flashing walk, whenever the signals are set to flash?
Hey Kyle. Would you happen to know where I could get a control board for a traffic light that has the flashin green arrow that turns to solid yellow arrow?

Nope! I just have it temporarily removed! I'll be reinstalling it soon!

Not too bad! I don't have these running all the time! Only when I'm downstairs!
