Finally! Heliotrope Bouquet at a beautiful, realistic, normal tempo! Thank you SO much! Everyone on UA-cam plays it SUPER fast, making it terrible sounding. Thank you dearly! -Zing
This is not entirely composed by Scott Joplin! The 1st 2 parts are cpmposed by Louis Chauvin, who was a close friend of Scott, but could not read or write music and he asked Scott to write it down on paper in music form. Sadly, Louos had died before the piece was completed, but to honour his dear friend, Scott composed the 2nd 2 parts and the connecting parts so to make the piece complete and cohesive, but Scott did not intend for himself to be credited with any of the composition as it was intended as a tribute and to complete the last wish and promise of his friend. Have the common courtesy and respect for the music to credit Louis Chauvin as he deserved to be. Great performance of what is a great composition, although I feel the slower speed you play is more accurate since Louis was dying of Syphilis when he composed the 1st 2 parts and most likely wanted to have the same sound and feel as Scott Joplin's piece, "Solace".
3:46 I will never know how, with the film of the period of this photo, the photog managed to "Stop" the little girl without a blur! It's all just a fantastic time travel from start to finish!!

I love your Joplin renditions. Please make them all, especially Gladiolus Rag!!
Interesting approach!
Not as good as yours though. Yours really has the emotion in it.

I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing!
the span of Columbus Circle is simply amazing.
Is that the photo at 2:05 ? It reminds me of the Bronx where I used to drive(Fordham Rd.).
Yes! Yes to the tempo!
Like Pachelbel's canon this song is better when it's played slowly
What is the city at 0:47?
Looks like NYC, East River.
