- Today we are doing a super simple and minimal diy project making framed, pressed and dried flower art using dollar tree picture frames and canvas. I think these arrangements turned out so pretty and love how simplistic they look. Plus it's a kid friendly diy (besides the paint) my son loves going around and finding all the flowers! Hope you enjoy and thank you so much for watching! #dollartree #dollartreediy

Plzz tell me flowers name which u usedd
I believe the white ones are called Queen Ann's lace and the other flower was cut off a Spirea bush I have in my backyard. Hope that helps!
These are fantastic! Great ideas!
Thank you!
Wow, these are beautiful. Great tutorial!
Thank you!
Very pretty
Nice!
Before I press Queen Anne’s Lace I put a bouquet of them into a vase with colored water ( use food coloring) and after a day or so they will be colored!
That's a great idea!
Love these ,what kind of spray are you using to colour them .. thanks
For the copper I used Krylon Premium Metallic in copper brilliance. I'm not sure what kind I used for the white and black. Any would be fine tho! I do know I used matte black.
I am trying to teach myself flower pressing to put into resin I am having trouble with getting access to flowers to dry, so I am mostly buying them dried I was told to color the flowers with alcohol ink but when I tried that with a few testers it it flower just shriveled around the edges, but I don’t think the flower was any good. Maybe I might be able to buy the right flowers from a florist. . Thanks for the upload
How long does dry flower frame last?like does the flower
lose color or stay the same?
They lose their color a little bit when they dry but have seemed to stay the same since then. And as far as how long they last I'm not sure but I still have mine to this day. I've switch frames but am super careful cuz they're pretty fragile.
How long do they last or wt have to be done if they are like loosing their essence?
I've had mine for over a year and have moved them into different frames and they still look good. They are just dried flowers tho so very fragile and can break easily so you just have to be careful with them.
If i am not using frames can i just use glue gun to stick the flowers on canvas?
I think that would work just fine! My only concern would be them getting dusty and hard to clean cause they are pretty fragile once they're dry.
