Yeah, just don’t feel any energy or emotion coming from her. There was a pain and aggression that chester’s voice brought. I feel like the rasp she creates with her voice happens so often that when she does scream, it loses its effect. I dunno man. Maybe things change with the album.
@@joshs2419 m8 u bring up some good points and I don’t wanna judge too harshly too soon, but either way Chester he didn’t have to try when he sang and he brought the passion into his singing from his own struggles etc and yes it seems like she tried too hard and it makes her voice feel forced. @@ryanstockley9495 the lineup changes kinda make me wonder, to be honest. And now with Brad not touring.. preferring to stay behind the scenes that makes me wonder even more. You put it perfectly with her voice feeling forced. What I notice too is that, when she’s not singing and they’re talking between songs, there’s no energy there as well. It’s almost as if she’s just there because she can hit the notes that chester hit. But hitting the notes is just a piece of the body of work that chester brought. I think they should have changed the name of the band, but then you’re risking all of LP’s momentum with their name, social media following and musical platform following.

The Rob and Brad situation doesn’t make sense to me but it must be to do with Chester not being there. Yeah it’s strange for me because I love LK, but atm this isn’t LK for me and they were laughing and joking too not sure how I feel about that and Emily singing old LK songs can leave a sour taste in the mouth also. If anything she can’t hit the notes because she forces it and atm she isn’t as good at holding notes etc. part of me didn’t want them back and part of me did tbh, also part of thinks that there old songs should be retired from live shows so people can listen when they want
Her voice is actually pretty good when she's singing but when she's trying to hard to make it gravelly it's gonna eventually ruin her voice all together I hope she'll settle to use just her singing voice like she does at certain parts coz it's great x
@@iron___ I've just found out that she's heavy into Scientology and even defended Danny Masterson cornering his victim at court trying to stop her from testifying it's absolutely shocking it's against everything Chester stood for !!! I wouldn't put it past Scientology to have gotten her to infiltrate the band to keep shit secret they're probably responsible for Chester's death! Imo, couldn't have picked a worse person to step in!

There's a lot of wild accusations floating around the internet about this right now. Your theory is crazy. The rest of the band had to have done their homework and research. If it was common knowledge that she was deep in Scientology, I highly doubt the band would hire her and she certainly wouldn't be able to covertly infiltrate LP given what happened with Chester. You have to remember that Scientology is a cult, people are born into it, forced to adhere to it with threats, and it's difficult to leave. Everything I've seen indicates that Emily is no longer involved in it, and in any case I'll believe what she and the band say about it, not some random people on the internet.
