    What Gwyneth Paltrow said is one of the most honest, intelligent, and introspective things I have ever heard a celebrity say about fame.

      pppmanly I listened to her on the Armchair Expert podcast recently. She’s not the monster people can make her out to be.

    • @hellostephanie
      @hellostephanie 5 років тому +60

      I would say neither monster nor pretentious. Just trying to live and breathe something more different and unexpected. Which to me makes her a bit wiser.

    • @IdunRedstone
      @IdunRedstone 5 років тому +103

      @@hellostephanie to repeat my previous remark she sells eggs to put up your vagina that she advertises as increasing sexual energy through the flow of chi. this isn't kung fu panda. She also sells very expensive "wellness oils" which are 28grams of regular oils that are in plants and are easy to get, but cost £84 and do literally nothing. Being different and unexpected is not good if it means you are taking money off of people for products which do nothing and in some cases can cause health problems, especially if they are advertised as alternatives to medicines that actually help people.

      pppmanly it is good, but I got the sense that her father was the one who thought about it.It is nice, but I would not say "one of the most intelligent things I've heard" I am sure you have heard lots of more intelligent things than that.

      Maya English it doesn’t really matter if it’s her fault or not. He’s just stating that her level of privilege was high before her individual fame. I mean her family friend growing up was “uncle” Spielberg. She was basically just asked if she wanted to be Wendy in “Hook” his Peter Pan movie as a teen. (Before she was famous) Talk about an open doorway. Sure she’s able to reflect how things became even more out of control easy for her after her fame, but she doesn’t know what it’s like to have zero doorways open for her. Pointing it out is not saying she’s a bad person.

    Tom's father - "God, you're such a movie star man!"
    Tom - "It drives me up the wall, but now I just go, yeah, I am".
    Tom's father is awesome, he puts Tom in his place, while putting him in the right head space to be Spider-Man. Although the driving part might not be accurate, but still, close enough.
