Then I will add some supporting sentences for this topic sentence but obviously I will not be explaining this topic sentence in the whole paragraph so I will write another topic sentence I.e; We should choose our friends wisely. Then I will add supporting details for it. Is it okay to use this pattern. Plzz reply..

A sentence is just few words. A paragraph has many words in it. There are many 5 sentences in a paragraph.

Each paragraph should have a topic sentence. If you want to write a long paragraph, it should only have ONE topic sentence.
