Fairy tail 100 year quest is so amazing most of the villains we see are probably weaker than acnologia but feel just as threatening
It has been stated they’re around ACNOLOGIA level of power and they weren’t taken out by him has it’s stated that they’ve fought before and if he was a lot stronger then most of them would’ve been beaten

@TheGreekWeeb Well, the only one that was Established to have fought Acnologia was Aldoron. And he got his Shit Clapped so bad that he Spent at least a Couple of Centuries Absorbing Human Lifeforces, and he was Still only at Half Power when Natsu fought him. The Rest just kind of Hid from him. Selene was in other Dimensions. Mercphobia stayed in a Village Under Water most of the Time. Dogramag turned his body into an Underground Labyrinth. Aldoron Just Played Dead. And Viernes literally Turned into a Concept and Fused with a Building. Ignia is the Only One who Really Claims to be the Strongest. I honestly can't wait to get some Flashbacks on him.
Cant wait for Ignia to be either
A) one shotted by an another villain
B) Get owned by power of friendship
C) end up helping Natsu and dying in process
Taking B can see him going out like Acnologia
Or E which is brother to brother rumble
I take D) Natsu vs Ignia, til 1 burns to ash
The last time we see a dragon trying to "kill" a family member, i recall she stabbed herself to death because she just couldnt.

Since Hiro confirmed that we are halfway through 100 YQ. Then there being more than 5 dragon gods theory is more credible than ever
I love The Dragon Gods, my favorite is Selene, not because she is sexy, but because of her concept, she has the name of the Moon Goddess from Greek mythology and in her dragon form she is a Kitsune, she combines Japanese and Greek mythology .. and she becomes my favorite since her conversation with Elefseria she wants a life, why does she continue hunting dragons? The 400 Year War ended. And her becoming Diabolos' teacher was a great plot twist.
Yes, at various points she is evil, but she is a Dragon, she is normal, the power clouds your mind (certainly not to Aldoron's level).
My favorite fight and defeat of a Dragon God is Aldoron, I really love this fight and the conclusion is one of my favorite moments in the entire manga.
I would have liked it if she had a Greek goddess fashion style

These dragons are unique since they have more than 1 magic and show how they earned their god titles
The worst part is how rushed the fights tend to be.
If its a one on one focus, they last 3 chapters
If its a group effort, we spend too long away from the actual dragon fight to focus on fights that... no one really asked for
It’s only been a problem with the most recent arc for me
The last couple dragon fights where pretty good imo
Note the element selection for the seven elements of the week which gives a possibility of a Sun Dragon down the line, probably the final goal of Ignia

Wish Ignia won't die, but becomes a sort of Natsu's rival like Grey or Gajeel.
Natsu lost Igneel and he even had PTSD during Selene vs Ignia fight because his adoptive brother was hurt.
Imagine fighting a metal based dragon with the iron dragon slayer lol.
And I kid you not, that dragon was slain using the power of LOVE
At least if they wanna make it a one-shot, Natsu should've used an improved version of Guren Houken

1 mercophiba lost due to natsu using the power of the fire dragon god on top of mercrophobias powers being drained by the white which prier .
2 alredron lost because blud was fighting about 20 different spriggran and above spriggan level fighters all at once and getting progressively weaker as the fight dragged on due to being ganged up on .
3 selene just switched sides ( which was a well built twist might i add )
4 i think the writing became worse with dogramag as yes he was beaten to easily
same with verse but the first 3 indicate that if mashima wants he can give the series a good ending .

Ok so we went from Acnologia the first Dragonslayer who is the "arcane" dragon meaning he is pretty much a god of magic himself which fits perfectly to the king and ultimate dragon not having any particular element or weakness, not to mention that he gets the entire hype build up for Zeref added since Zeref was scared shitless of him, to "yea we ran away from Acnologia but now we back and stronger" ??? I just wish they would have done the "Somehow Acnologia returned" or maybe he had a son or whatever
Also can someone tell me where God Serana or whatever his name was fits in to this ? I mean the guy had like 8 Dragonslayer lacrimas and was known as the god of dragons but got 1-shot by Acno so I guess he is a lot weaker than these dragon gods ?

Ignia;s Plan
My theory is that Ignia wants to revive or create a new race of dragons, he believes that dragons are more superior than humans and he wants a world of dragons and that would make him the true Dragon God.
Igneel abandoned Ignia
I think it's a lie, I think Igneel asked his wife to escape the country for the war and the plan to defeat Acnologia because it was too dangerous for them, and once Ignia and her mother lived in Giltena, the mother is killed by Magia Dragon or Diabolos, this is the reason why Ignia hates humans and wanted to defeat Acnologia because her father abandons them for that.

A popular theory is that the Dragon Gods are inspired by the Days of the Week in Japan.
Monday (Moon Day) - Selene
Tuesday (Fire Day) - Ignia
Wednesday (Water Day) - Mercuphobia
Thursday (Wood Day) - Aldoron
Viernes (Golden Day) - Friday, and this is curious because Viernes is Friday in Spanish, the same day as the idea of the dragon.
And then I include Dogramag, which is Saturday (Earth Day), one day left, Sunday (Sun Day), the final Dragon God.
Extra theory, I think Acnologia was the first Dragon Eater because he didn't explain how he learned Dragon Slayer Magic and this is the possible way, he ate all types of dragons and got their magic, this is why he has no element and why can eat any element.
Ignia stated male dragons don't raise their children, leaving them for their wives.
Ignia is Definitely natsu’s final battle

Well I think Ignia could be considered as a fusion between Zeref and Acnologia because he is related to Natsu because of Igneel and also the other dragon gods call Natsu as "Ignia´s brother". Ignia seems to act the same as Acnologia because he likes the destruction and wants to burn everything but first wants to test his own strength against Natsu in fight.

This made me realize that Natsu isn’t stronger than igneel or acnologia by himself yet. Yeah he has defeated most of the Gods & Acnologia but not with his own power or the dragon was nerfed
Acnologia: was getting jumped on both sides his dragon form which was fighting the rest of fairy tail & co and his human form by the 7 dragon slayers. And the only reason he lost is bc he couldn’t counter, block or dodge natsu 7 flame punch bc he was paralyzed or whatever due his dragon form being caught in fairy sphere. You can also argue he wasn’t at full power bc he was split in two and all that
Mercphobia: natsu needed the help of his team plus the ridiculous amp of ignia’s flames to beat him
Aldron: aldron wasn’t even at full power and was in a weakened state natsu wasn’t fighting a peak aldron and even though he beat him he barley did
Dogramag: literally had most of his power destroyed and got jumped
Serene: turned over a new leaf, plus ignia took her out which makes sense, bc there was no way natsu would’ve beaten her by himself
Viernes: now we don’t know if he’s out but it does seem like natsu blew his head off (one of the most brutal things I’ve seen natsu do to a opponent), but natsu was amped by his team, enchantments, sabertooth snd everyone there

Aldoron was interesting to me, because Aldoron knew full well that Natsu was E.N.D.
It was funny that one of those godseeds was basically Gozer from ghostbusters, but much dumber.

also id advise u to not listen to the bot comment below because they change up quite a lot of things that are apparent in the first few arcs of the new story with a whole new power system etc i think if like ft pre alvarez u are definetly going to enjoy this series certain char getting fitting char arcs / conclustions but it is light harted like og ft . the writing in the first few arcs of 100 yrs quest ( the first 100 chapters or so ) is the best i have seen since tartoros .

Ignia arc is a massive disappointment man, he was so hyped but Mashima just didn't put an effort to him.

Eclipse dragon shows no weaknesses at all compare to those clown Dragon Gods, who said to be on Par with Acno. 🤡🤡
