im super hype. it gives off more of the 2014 kind of animation style than the final series which I like. nothing against the final series I really do like it but I feel like 2014 fairy tail was peek. im getting that kind of vibe from the anime.

I think that is not completely impossible. After consuming all that Space Between Time magical source, Acnologia is not a physical dragon anymore, but a spiritual being. His spiritual form was shattered to pieces, but his soul is still in that dimension, i think. Similiar to how Celestial Spirits are immortal in the Celestial World, it won't be an asspull if at some point, Acnologia manages to revive himself in his own dimension. And this time, he will fully master his space-time magical power without disadvantages. Funnily enough, Acnologia at the end of Fairy Tail manga is more of a real Dragon God than any of those self-declared Dragon Gods in this sequel.
It might be worth noting that the 100 years quest is very fanservice-heavy, I would say moreso than previous arcs, so folks who aren't into that might want to prepare themselves. I personally found many of Kiria's interactions with other characters to be really uncomfortable, but to each their own.
Yea as a gay man I'm not a huge fan of fan service (pun intended) but I'll still give it a shot just because I loved the one story but if it gets too uncomfortable I'll just stick to clips lol

I just got done doing a week grind of reading the Manga... and I am FINALLY caught up with the main manga series of Fairy Tail of 545 chapters... glad to be apart of this journey finally.
I have a few questions, cause I LOVE fairy tail. Seen the whole series three times through. Because I watched it in dub though, I can't not watch the 100 years quest without dub 😬. Q1: Is dub coming out?😢, I'll be so sad if they don't dub this with original cast. Q2: Does anyone know why in the UK the fairytail dub is just not avaliable anymore? They had the full series on funimation but since it moved to crunchyroll it's not there :(. Same for One Piece.
They could have made Ignia as Igneel's father instead of being Igneel's son. Normally, based on title alone, you will think that Fire Dragon God is stronger and older that Fire Dragon King.
In hindsight Natsu and the other Dragon Slayers could have transformed into Dragons and back to humans like Elfseria. They can learn transformation magic like Elfseria and the Dragons
