I too have a 2002 Honda Civic Si with only 54,000 miles on it and I really enjoy car. I don’t care that it doesn’t have the horsepower of a lot of cars today. It’s fun, roomy and very functional as a hatchback which I like a lot. To me it’s the right size car and it has 4 airbags. The few things I did to it. I installed an aftermarket armrest that opens up for a few little items and it really helps when it comes to being comfortable especially when you’re shifting gears. It’s so much better with the armrest. The windows were tinted for that cool look. I installed driving lights, new 17 inch PF01 Enkei rims and Continental Control Contact tires 215/45 ZR 17 that helped the car to ride like it’s on a track. I also bought seat covers at Walmart black and red in color. They didn’t cost much and it’s to protect the seats. Oh yeah, I also installed factory mud flaps. I was thinking about putting in a cold air intake but a good friend of mine who’s a really good mechanic told me it wouldn’t make a difference in power and the car will sound somewhat loud. So I got a K&N air filter for the air box. A few other things I did but I don’t want to make this too long. So good luck with your car. I know or hope you’ll enjoy it. Joe
I just bought a clean 62K miles 2005 Civic Si from BAT. I used to have one before and sold it with over 100K miles on it. It's a great little car and I'm stoked to get another one.
I just picked up a 02 EP3 as well, 1 owner, and had more miles than what I wanted (220,000) but the elderly gentleman who owned it had every service record and receipt which shows how well he took care of it, I was so happy to find an unmodded one. completely bone stock, but I need to replace the steering wheel and shifter due to the age and Florida heat. I picked mine up in the crazy inflation era to save money and miles on my truck, it was beginning to cost my an arm, leg & kidney to fill.
I had a dc sports intake same design (hot air) Had a nice sound but I took it off and installed the stock airbox. Now the car has way more torque. The stock tune was designed for the oem airbox so ofcourse the engine will run better with all oem parts.
Its a good platform for adding a real k series engine. I am waiting on my k20/24 frank build to be put in. ep3 with 260 whp is going to hurt many feelings
4k? Wow man that is a deal. I'm looking right now in so cal market but the average is 5k but engines have over 175k. Ive seen go as high as 9.5k. It's crazy. Hope I can find a deal like yours
That intake is a POS... I have the stock box and rubber boot.if you want hit me back I'll sell it cheap if you pay shipping, I have an injen cold air intake cost like 280 makes big difference.

Totally agree!
Just found one from the original owner for $4k. 45 service records and no accidents, etc. Pure luck! 🤘🏼

4k is a steal for unmolested an EP3 Si. Good buy
Thank you!

I have been trying to find a stock air box they are hard to come by. Surprisingly not many rsx parts cars in my area.

Thanks for the review. These are hard to find in original condition. Good luck and congratulations on the purchase.
Had an 02 bone stock EP3 and a 04 RSX-S modded and I miss the EP3 the most.
Bought one of those new in 03. Super fun. Looking at an Alltrack now. Any regrets?
K24a2 swap, best bang for your buck.

I'd be interested in that stock box and rubber boot if it's still available!
That's not a Ep3.
