As an outsider looking in, the first few songs off this album had a "greetings, let me show you around the apartment" feel.
The I stumbled across this.
One word can only express this song,
Wow.
It's like I've travelled back in time to the early 2000s...
This is the highlight of the album for myself.
The gritty guitars, the bass and drums, and to top it off, the gritty vocals.
I hope this song climbs the ranks
The bassline on this absolutely grinds
I first came upon this band with Mia. Back in '99.
I have loved everything.

This band just keeps getting better and better, been a fan since 1999 when I saw them with slipknot, sevendust, machine head, dope, coal chamber on Halloween in Tulsa. They have such a polished slick grooving sound.

I've never listened to a band and enjoyed every single track. While furloughed I've been doing a start to finish on this band and now onto their latest album and loving it. Been feeling a bit lost at 31 with no kids/woman in my life or a successful job. Have cut my drinking down completely and these guys have been keeping me motivated. Thank you for the good music guys. Stay awesome!.

Chevelle are showing you how to properly evolve. I hate when fans say a band is evolving when they change sound or go in a different direction, that’s not evolving, that’s just changing your sound. Chevelle is a band that actually evolves, evolving isn’t about changing sound or direction, evolving is about keeping true to who you are but just adding minimal things to your overall sound, and Chevelle do that perfectly. Chevelle doesn’t change their overall sound, but instead they like adding minimal things to their sound, now that is evolving.
I remember listening to The Red from you guys repeatedly when I was in my teens, now in my mid 30's you guys are still rocking hard! These new tracks are so insane!! Much respect and love from South Africa!!
I think this is one of Chevelle's most experimental works; Pete's vocal performance is amazingly expressive and creative. A masterpiece 😎👌

At first I hated how this song started out but it has grown on me to be one of my favorites on the album. The riffs tell me Pete had fun ripping on his guitar. Feels so aggressive I love it and then that guitar solo at then end really warps up the mood of the song with a bow on the packaging.

You have encompassed your older sounds as well as new sounds into one hell of a master piece, I can't even put into words how good of a band chevelle is. They can't write a bad song, they've been here for years and never lost their sound and that alone deserves so much respect because many times artists get lost in the dollar signs but Chevelle has stuck to what makes their music great and they need more recognition than they get. Amazing work
