True church of Jesus Christ is testing the lukewarm LIPSERVERS to God and Mother Mary - t he e process of separating the wheat from chaff is on among church hierarchy first. Laity, you are warned. Wake up.
Saint Peter and Saint Paul are my strength. They were persecuted horribly and kept their faith and love. Peter was even crucified upside down. They were beautiful men.
This wonderful homily is like a breath of fresh air or a tall glass of cold water on a hot day! Thank-you Father and God bless all the saints in waiting.
I think the more you try to get closer to God the harder it gets. Not because God is difficult but because we are human. We must all continue to struggle. I do so daily and honestly I need to try harder.
@@flightattendantangela7248 exactly -I think the more we offer up our sufferings the more things back fires on Satan - I'm working on remembering to do that it makes sense when u think about it🙏
So happy to have found your videos on You Tube. I have been following Father Altman of LaCrosse, WI, for several months and was telling one of my friends at Holy Savior in Clinton about him, and he then told me about you. What a joy to hear a priest in Mississippi who has the courage to stand with the Lord and preach His words. Spare us all the Koolaid. Enough that we have a pope who seems to have lost his way. I know he thinks Vicar of Christ is just a historical title, but he seems to think that he can make a paradise here on earth. He forgets that sin is in the world and we have to turn to Christ and try to live our lives as He instructs us to do. I pray for Francis' eternal soul, and wish he would stop giving scandal and just save souls for Christ instead of leading them astray. Thank you, Father O'Connor, for restoring my faith that there are still a few true shepherds of Christ, and you are one of them. You are a saint in the making. Alleluia.
You are absolutely right. I used to pray everyday for Pope's intentions. Then I changed that for Pope. Currently I pray for our Catholic church and pope, who ever is rightful of Pope Benedict and the other, in our Savior. I do hear a lot about controversy of Pope Benedict being not resigned as per Canon Law stipulated. He was made to resign, that I understand by excardinal Sodano, who had a tainted lifestyle. He is cardinal mccarick type. Guess vatican is infested by parasites.
If only that man’s sister knew that her brother’s heart was breaking for her as Jesus does for us. Those tears will not be wasted. Bless that man and May many more of us capture this love of God for the lost. I cannot look to saints as Jesus said “I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Me.”
Thank you so, so much Father. Good bless you. Unfortunately, a lot of people have drunk the Kool Aid. God help us to become like the Saints. Greetings from DC.
This was amazing! In reference to your question, YES I do want to be a saint, as close to a saint as I can possibly be, no matter what anyone else may want for me. What God wants for me is faaaar more important. The Lord's message is already doing it's transforming work in me, one day at a time. What a beautiful gift! Thank you Praise be to God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit Amen 🙏🏽
I enjoy watching your mass from Michigan, God has certainly blessed you brother. Preach on as the Baptist say. I hope to attend a mass one day in your parish, God bless you and your congregation
Father the All Saints day homily is tops.you are blessed and thank you for the spiritual enlightenment.we need not go near the kool aid.people need to read the saints they walked the road already.we too love st zpaul we are Daughtets of st Paul The media sisters look us up our centers all over the world. Thank you
I live in Houma, Louisiana and one day while scrolling through here on UA-cam I came across you. I stopped in to listen and loved what I heard. You, Father Mike, are a fine preacher. I have a life long friend who is also a priest in the Lafayette diocese. He has been a priest for close to thirty years. By the way, I haven’t practiced the Catholic faith for many years. My father was Methodist all his life and we are too, but we have a new Cuban preacher who is not a good speaker IMO. So I look elsewhere.
You can always hear sermons here in you tube. There are about 4-5 very good priests who give lovely and truthful sermons of eternal life. I do hear likewise hear about 3-4 sermons everyweek.
I also listened to Fr. Mike's homily. Instead this is the 2nd times I come to listen to his preaching through this channel. Hope can continue for much longer. Greetings from Singapore.
Nice one Fr.Mike. In Ireland we have St.Patrick, everyone loves him, even people who don't believe in God Almighty, now why do you suppose that is.🤔☘🍺. My Lord and my God.
Do you know of St Leonard? The town where I live in England is named after him. I think he was a 6th century monk, from Noblat in France. [Do not confuse him with the later St Leonard, a 17th century Franciscan friar from Port Maurice in Italy].
You can start by checking the Saint day of your birthday or the one closest to your birthday as was the custom. Also the Book of Saints has the life stories how they became saints. I pray to Saint Anthony. He has helped me thru tough times.
Thank you, Father. We need more holy priests and priests who are brave enough to teach the Truth. Thank you!
Mother Angelica quote , we are all called to be great saints don't miss the opportunity
Saint Joseph, Defender of the Universal Church and Terror of Demons, pray for us!

The closer you get to God, the harder the devil works to separate you from Him.

I hope Fr. O’Connor doesn’t end up a celebrity. The temptations of worldliness are too strong.
