Tips from a tennis player:
• Hit the topspin shots into the corner and then hit a flat shot to the opposite corner.
• try to stay out of the middle of the court where the service line is. Either stay back on the baseline, or move up to the net. Don't stay in no man's land.
• hitting straight down the middle will make it harder for the opponent to generate an angle on their shot. Use that to your advantage.
• after you hit your shots, try to recover to the middle of the court immediately.
when you recover you should be more on the cross court side but in game it doesn't work it stupid

Love to see the series going on (was a bit worried last episode) and love to see Trev adding new tools to his arsenal.
The way topspin works (for a right-handed) is, the ball skids left when you hit a forehand and right when you hit a backhand (it's pretty intuitive if you think about the way you make the ball spin). So, it doesn't ALWAY go "toward the corner".
Good job learning the basics, by the way!

It’s definitely a frustrating game. You think you have the shot and they get it back 🤦🏼♀️🤣. But, it just gets you and you can become addicted. You should find a badminton game 😂, now that’s a fast game.

I played tennis all the way through college.
Don't be afraid to hit cross court forehand power shots after a forehand cross court top spin because as they run back to the middle after the top spin shot trying to 180 and hit behind them is very difficult when done well
Drop shots (either from the base line or the net) are best when your opponent is deep off the base line and off to one side and you drop to the opposite side
If you want to mix up your serves you can also try more of a top spin serve deep in the service box directly at the opponent (these are hard to hit because they bounce high and into your body)

Your making the mistake of hanging out around the service line(Line going horizontally across the court), instead you should hit your approach and follow it in, meaning stepping into the service box. This will improve your change in winning pints off volleys and give you better angles on the court. You also want to stop hitting the ball into the middle of the court, every time you got slammed was you hit a dinker into the middle of the court and your opponent just t-off, try to keep as many shots cross court or down the line. Love your content, hope this helps !

FYI: The bar isn't power, it's timing so even when doing a precision shot, you're aiming for the green. Power comes from power shots and top spin shots

As from the UK, I watched your baseball series and thought surely you just hit the ball with the bat, oh how wrong I was. Tennis is like your baseball, so much more than just ‘hit the ball with racket’. Plan your shots and returns to put him on the defensive, your style of play matters try not to switch constantly. . Trev you need to place the ball deep in the court from end to end and when playing a drop shots sides of court then when you can do that will bring the player in the net then you play a passing shot and change up your serving and mix it up and you find your get better
To follow your shot from the baseline to the net, you have to hold R1 (or L1 have to look that up 🤪). It should be in the controls scheme in options. Thank me later 😉. Great job on the series.
Never thought I’d have so much fun with this. I want to know how to unlock the skills from the higher fittings. I guess level 20 you get fittings level 2 and then level 30 you get the level 3 fittings to unlock skills.

I played tennis from like 16 till now (almost 40 lol), it is TOUGH especially on the body. They say hitting a fastball is the hardest thing in sports but try returning some serves then back opposite direction on clay, ouch.
I find myself saying what hit to use like I’m playing 😂
Wow tennis is like being baseball pitcher/hitter at the same time. But its weird to throw 100mph curveballs(topspin) then 80mph fastballs(slice backspin) since hitting a slice too hard just makes it land out of the court.
Use persion for your drop shots and slices then power for your top spins and slices. You want to aim for the corners or net with persion and aim for their chest with power. You basically want to either hit them or break their ankles. 😅😅😅
