I’ve applied a few times and keep getting told I live outside hiring area. The limit is only one hour west of my address. And every weekend there are a couple TMC trucks parked for the weekend home time in the town I live in..pretty frustrating, especially when I’ve already gone through flatbed training with a different company before.
Mike, thanks for sharing this. Will you please give recruiting a call and share this with them? 1.800.247.2862

Do you rent a hotel or something during your stay?
If you go to Des Moines IA, TMC owns the hotel right on the main campus, and you stay there. If you go to SC, they will house you at a local hotel near the training yard.
@@mustang04ism Thank you for answering
Trains well on how to properly clean floor mats.

Low pay during training from what I was told. Something like $650 a week before taxes. Training for a new driver is going to be 2 weeks at the terminal and 4 weeks with the trainer. So that’s 6 weeks of working for free.
How is that working for free if you're getting paid 650 a week during the 6 weeks.
@@hernanirodrigues1027 So if someone pays you $1 a week, is it not called working for free? After taxes you may see $500, if lucky. Probably closer to $450ish. $450ish a week to do flatbed for a month.
@@pacman4937 you're in training.. you legit don't know anything so yeah you're not going to get paid big money. Once you go on your own you'll see the real money.
@@hernanirodrigues1027 If you look at reviews of TMC, even on UA-cam, everyone admits that they have great training and great equipment; and that it’s a good company, but the pay sucks even when you get out of training and have your own truck. Sorry to burst your bubble. $1000 a week is not good for flatbed. You can find local no touch fresh out of CDL school making that.
You’re getting paid, shit hole
How do I get in touch with a recruiter?
Rainey, give them a call! 1.800.247.2862
I'm interested in flatbed now
Does TMC still have manuals or are they going all automatics?
They’re all automatics now
Ouch!! That sucks.

There's a reason why the other companies call you guys the "Toddler- marine- corps"... 26/30 of your company driver's can't follow the simplest instructions, NO PARKING OVERNIGHT.... CHECKING IN BEFORE ENTERING... The drywall division is pathetic!!
The SC training camp teaches driver how to park in no parking zones at truckstop don't know how much training they are getting 😳 😐
I call bullshit y’all’s recruiters won’t even give me a chance!!! That’s with no tickets or accidents on my record and ain’t been in trouble or anything for 17 years so the ? would be what’s really going on with y’all’s company
I don’t even have a CDL yet and got a pre hire offer

Do u guys hired people the have disability
Well it sounds like all your geared towards is inexperienced drivers as a veteran of over 30 years in the industry industry and many miles under my belt I don't think I'd want to spend 2 to 4 weeks in a training process and I don't think any other veteran driver would want to do that you say nothing about experience drivers how lame
You'd have to give them a call, and discuss your particular experience. New guys coming in all go thru the same training, being all are inexperienced. The route you would go would totally depend on how much experience you have that is verifiable. I seriously doubt they'd make a guy do all that with more than enough experience.
Ok
