I was in the us army and spent 5 1/2 years in Germany, through the early-late 1980's, and love the place and the people. Was stationed in West Berlin for a while, and have been collecting a few military artifacts from WW2. I've got a M35 helmet, some authentic JU87 parts, and even have a vintage U201 pin🤗 I also enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work my friend
Where the Shops Full of that Stuff or NO ??
@@jimshoe402 no wasn't any shops brother just searching around 👍
I lived in manheim as a kid in late 70s early 80s. Dad was army. But as kids we would go out to the woods and play. And their was all kinds of military stuff still present from ww2. Bunkers mainly . Big concrete hangar buildings. I liked Germany also. Beautiful country with such a dark past.
My mom had cousins that fought for the German Army they had many artifacts they had collected but sadly overtime many of the items disappeared. My mom said one of the nicest items was a German helmet in excellent condition as a collector I would have loved this. Thanks again for another great video.
I just came back after being away for several years. I love to see you're still at this. The boy grew up! Content spanning the last 12 years...Amazing.
Indeed and we are going to do even more in the future. Thanks for being here :)
I loved the comment that the Admiral was coming to this location, so let's make sure he is safe. I believe this may be the best fortification you have revealed, so plenty of intention went into it's construction. Keep up the good work EE & HH.
Yes and even a more important man was also there , secretly and will let you see more of that in part 2. Thanks.
Super huge ! I can't fathom the size of those charges to drop concrete that thick. great video guys
Yes must have been so much explosives that could do that. Thanks Dave :)
The devastation is unreal. How much explosives must it have taken to do that much damage to such a huge facility? This place was enormous! Too bad they destroyed it because it would have been awesome to explore. Such an amazing back story as well. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
I loved this video. Even in it's destructive state you can see the enormous effort put into building this bunker. Thank you both for the hard work you do and looking forward to part two. As always " Good Hunting "
Yes a dinosaur just laying there and we can study it and learn from it. Thanks my friend :)
This Kriegsmarine HQ is amazing. The effort put into security is visible everywhere and especially in the thickness of the bunker roofs. Thank you HH and EE for talking us through the ruins. ❤
Couldn't agree more and we thank you Beverley for being here with us :)
Wow. Just wow. Even though the camera doesn't truly show it, you can still see how immensely thick the roof was of that incredible bunker. It is a shame that the Soviets decided to blow it all up after the way. But that was their way of killing two birds with one stone, by using captured mines, and other munitions, to remove all trace of the German's military presence. It disposed of the unwanted explosives, and evidence of the Nazi regime, all at the same time. After the war that area was used by the East German Police, as an Urban Warfare training ground, so that probably explains the very crude block walls everywhere. It is stunning to think of the amount of time, and effort, put into, both, constructing this bunker, and destroying it. So much work, from two different mind sets. Thank you guys for showing us this amazing piece of History. Looking forward to seeing what else this site has to offer. Cheers to you both!
Great explore and we just loved to see that. Part 2 is even better my friend and thanks :)
What a lot of devastation, wrought on this fabulous location! And what were the Russians thinking??? Great explore, HH and EE!❤
Yes totally devastated and we loved to share that with you Cynthia. Thanks and keep smiling :)
Great job HH on the video. There was another video from couple of years ago that estimated a couple of tons of Semtex. They used multiple layers of reinforcement mesh instead of rebar. Which is why they could bring it down. Was not built like the Flak towers in Berlin, which they tried to destroy but only scratched them. I would say by the concrete pedestal they were dual or quad 20mm not 88's. Another great video can't wait for part 2. Stay safe and well.
Very well done. I can't believe how thick the concrete is, and I wonder how it looked before it got destroyed. Can't wait to see the next video.
You and me both and thanks for watching Jacob :)
Holy crap! The amount of destruction! The blast must have been incredible to see.
ys totally smashed it :) Thanks.
It's like finding a dinosaur in the woods! What a strange place, but very enjoyable - the Red Army must have used a LOT of explosives to do that much damage! Thanks EE nd HH for a great morning out, greetings from England
Love your content, enthusiasm, and passion for history and archaeology.
Thanks :)
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY USA brother and everyone else thank you for sharing your adventures in history
Good morning and glad you are here with us :)
Good afternoon Earl
Good afternoon everyone
Hows ur Oil Bill or Gas ??😝😝
Shameful and outrageous

Thanks for being here :)
I loved this Big Bunker Adventure, Thank you, History Hunter, Thank you, Eagle Eyes 👏 A Super Thanks Donation has just been made for you!! 😀 👍
Yes we loved this place and we thank you for being here with us :)
Your videos remind me of the times I spent at coastal artillery sites here in the U.S.
There you go and thanks for being here :)
Loved this eagle eyes and history hunter. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for taking us on this adventure 💜💜💜👍👍👍 will you be going to the haunted forest to metal detect again? Keeping my fingers crossed🫰🫰🫰
Glad you enjoyed it and we are hoping to return to the forest. Thanks for your great support Wendy :)
Insane amount of concrete. The Germans really built everything to last 1000 years.😲Thanks guys! 👍
Our pleasure!
Great video. You always come through for us.
Thank you
So nice of you
What a awesome view guys! 🤩 You and the boy are so wonderful!
Thank you 🤗
Thank you for such amazing and informative video’s.
What a place and the size of the place is amazing but now looks like an apocalypse. Can't wait for part 2
yes a very interesting place that is and thanks for being here :)
Hi HH & EE
Another very interesting historical vlog.
Toujours un Moment de Détente, Beau Travail comme d'habitude🔬🎬🛠🍀🙏🌌
Thanks Alex :)
This war most likely hit by an RAF Blockbuster bomb to do ths much damage. Normal TNT they would have needed to transport a TRUCK FULL of explosives probably 1- -20 tons to damage concrete this thick. Interesting find.
Difficult to comprehend the size and complexity of this structure ,absolutely mind boggling..Once again HH and EE reveal a hidden gem of WW2 History.👍
Yes such a interesting site even today. Thanks so much :)
I wonder what the logistical process is like getting all this concrete delivered to location and mixed up and poured. Never seen concrete so thick... im sure it wasnt easy to destroy.
narrow railroad track system to transport sand , concrete and re bar i think. Thanks for watching.
What a weird place !!!
Loved it and thanks :)
Can't imagine what the explosion would have been like to make the devastation seen here.
What's all that 💩 added on the destroyed bunker. Some one out there must know ? ✌️👍❤️🇺🇲
I know , must have been a lot of tnt or whatever. Strange stuff going on the on the roof. Thanks Robert and greetings from us.
Fantastic! Ty for sharing!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is about a 25 minute video but I was curious as to how long it actual took you to explore this location. I know it was more than 25 minutes. I would think hours of video then editing cuts it to 25 minutes. Like you I wonder how much TNT they used to do this much damage to such a large and well built bunker. I thought too that maybe the Russians built around this bunker to protect it as they removed top secret equipment. Very interesting location and something you won’t see on other channels.
Well we did spend like 5 hours there and the area is so huge. 3-4 hours of recording into 2 episodes. Thanks Anthony.
Thanks!
Thank you very much my friend and we send a greeting from us :)
You can find in croatia in few places bunkers from WW2,greetings from croatia 😊
ok and thanks for watching.
It was in use by the Soviets after WWII, yes? Did the Russians blow it up upon leaving after the fall of Soviet East Germany? Will you be bringing back your other channel? Two restorations you posted were good.
Well we think they used some of it , rest was blown up by either the Germans and the Red Army. Other channel will not go on. Thanks.
Who did the Germans pour so much concrete at one time???? The block walls are so thick, so what kind of machinery did they use to mix tons of cement all at once to pour at the same time to make such a thick wall all at once.. Looking at the concrete there is no crumbling or soft spots where it was broken, so the concrete was very hard when it cured... Is Germany known for itself concrete??? when you look at all the bunkers, tunnels, and gun emplacements all over Germany you have to wonder!!!
Often narrow track railroad system and HUGE mixers transported around. They built tons of them and all in concrete so who knows. Thanks.
Thanks! A little something for your adventures.
Very kind of you my friend and will come in handy in upcoming explores :)
Love this channel and eagle eyes is great
Appreciated my friend and greetings from us.
Maybe the rebar is small because they couldn't allocate huge amounts towards structures . I'm sure they wanted to put as much of their metals in weaponry. which during a war such as this would eventually turn into a valuable resource. Them germans had a lot going on in development in latter stages.
Could be for sure. Great place and thanks for watching.
Amazing level of destruction, wow.
I think the destruction was probably done either by an air raid or by the germans themselves as they were retreating from the position. Could have also been the soviets if they captured it, and were afraid that the germans would be able to push them out of there, but I doubt that. By then Germany didn't have the recourses to do serious counterattacks.
ok and we appreciate you watching.
Surprised at how small the reinforcing steel is?
Certainly not built to the same standards as the U-Boat bunkers in France and elsewhere.
Mark from Melbourne Australia
Appreciate you being here and greetings from us.
Nice Thank you
Most welcome
The garbage brickwork of the Soviet era just jump out at you. I've seen similar poor work in a number of their former locations, so no surprise. It is weird that they built all that on top. I can't figure out what they could have been using it for - it doesn't make a lot of sense. Can't wait for the next couple videos of this site!
yes so crappy done. Thanks and greetings from us.
I would absolutely love some way of you to get 4k Cameras. Maybe some company out there may be able to supply you with them, That would be absolutely fantastic 🎉😊 Maybe someone out there can reach out maybe? fingers crossed 🤞
We do have that but never use 4K as it takes too long to edit and handle. 1080 works great. Thanks.
Oh yes, I understand, that makes complete sense, Thanks 😊 👍
@@WW2HistoryHunter Big Hassle..
somewhere in the east of Germany are two or three huge bunkers they feeled with water to blow up make them unusable , may be around Fulda on a big open ridge .
ok and thanks for watching.
Awesome place my friend, but unfortunately all over the world are these HUGE concrete lumps that will NEVER go away!
💙💛👍👍
Well there are the Pyramides , Chinese wall and others out there as well so why not :) Thanks.
ty both. amazing video
Appreciated John.
@@WW2HistoryHunter yw
The German military machine of ww2 was absolutely unbelievable
Very special things still out there. Thanks.
@@WW2HistoryHunter agreed my friend you should have a look at the Nazi bell. UFO apparently
Half of the forest's living creatures died or became deaf after such an explosion.
Could very well be actually. Thanks for watching.
Very intresting
Thank you :)
This place looks like a giant has just got angry and knock over the building, just amazing, as you said, just how much explosives did the Red army use to blow them up. Even destroyed, they still have a majestic wonder about them. Thank you and EE for finding this place and sharing with us. Stay safe and well my friends
Yes must have been quite a last that there. Not much left but glad we could share what is still there. part 2 is even more interesting. Thanks my friend :)
that bunker must have been hit more than once to much damage for one bomb walls and roof to thick if they used TNT to destroy it you would have needed 5 or six tones to do that kind of damage
It seems like it was blasted properly yes. Loved to see it and thanks my friend :)
Good.
Thanks so much :)
👩🏻💻The Ultra program in England knew where this place was, too.
🙋♀️😘🥰🇺🇲🇬🇧
Thanks for watching.
The question is are there still Germans waiting to rescue them or they will haunt the place until they will discovered bro
Well who knows. Thanks for watching.
Very interesting place very cool 😎 👍
Thanks for visiting and we loved this place :)
Wow what a place, it looked like something out of Fortnite 😎 But I did wonder who blew it up? Was it the retreating German army? Whoever did it knew EXACTLY where to lay the charges to make this a useless ruin. Awesome exploere there, thank you to and EE for showing us around.
Some was done by the Germans and some by the Red Army we read. Thanks and more to come :)
Be safe out there fellas!
We will and thanks my friend :)
Russians may have used it for a trading ground urban warfare
Could be yes and thanks for watching.
I learned cardo is critical to our health
There you go and thanks for watching.
Hi

Well maybe in the future. Thanks.
P'S I resent email exactly like I did in October lol

so cool
Thank you.
👁
Thanks.
❤
Appreciated Casey and we hope all is well. We send a greeting from us and be safe out there :)
How do you know if it was the Red Army that built those walls and not some squatter just trying to make a home
Well we have some resources that helps out to understand details of the locations. Thanks.
👍👍👍🇸🇪
:):):):):
😁😁😁😁😁😁
Thank you so much Jim :)
First 😂😊
Thanks for that :)
😛😛😛😛😛😛❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Charles :)
Maybe the Russians were playing with paint guns
Well i really could not tell. Thanks for being here :)
A shame what the soviets did... what a waste.
Thanks for watching.
that graffitti is disgusting.
Totally agree and thanks for watching.
amazing!!!
Thank you!!
Its hard to understand the soviet Russian mind set and the things they did, but you only have to look at what is happening in Ukraine that nothing has changed in seventy odd years. Intelligence is not there strong point.
Thanks for watching.
What a shame that some people have no respect for history. Why don't they go spray paint their own house?
Totally true and i wonder what their parents would say if we painted their garage in grim colors..Thanks for watching.
Another wonderful video you put out yet again. Always something to learn and that is what pulls me in
You do a fantastic job and end product is quality
Keep up good work
Thanks again!
Would love to explore with you guys.
Thanks for watching.
eagle eyes is growing up hehehe. I love how much enthusiasm and passion he has, just like his father ;) I know I have said it before but thank you so much for all you do. Both of you
You are so kind and we thank you for being here :)
Looks like they certainly tried their best to put that place out of commission. Thanks for taking us there and showing us what is left.
Yes it is totally demolished and so huge even though. Appreciated my friend and greetings from us
Blow it up Ivan, oh wait a minute we can use that. Great find, sure was interesting to see. Thank you and EE so much for our Sunday history lesson. Can't wait for part 2 of this location. Hope all is well and stay safe out there my friends.
Yes what a strange thing they did there and i wonder why. Loved to see that and thanks Allen for your incredible support :)
Woo hoo another great Sunday you and Tina video's
Hope you enjoyed it and thanks.
WOW......I still can not believe how big that bunker is; and from you said, yes, would have to be there to really consume it all. BUT, from the video, I think this must be the biggest bunker we have been to???? Yes,no? Also, the size of the rebar is so small, its not wonder it blew up the way it did(with several tons of tnt most likely). It is too bad that it was blown up; to be able to see what the inside look, oh man oh man!!!! The Russians didn't help any with their "band aid" either lol. Looking forward to seeing the next clip on this adventure. Thanks for taking us. Stay safe, well and smile........until then, my friend..............................................................
They are HUGE and in part 2 you will see a even bigger one and e can go partly inside. Thanks Colleen :)
OH MY GRAVY!!! CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE@@WW2HistoryHunter
I always love your videos!
Glad you like them!
great video can you visit the hitler bunker that has a swimmingpool completely across the roof as I saw it once on you tube but its not there any more --it is still standing not damaged at all I think it is in France not to sure about that at all I live in nz and would love to visit these places thank you wendy
ok we dont know about that but who knows in the future. Thanks for being here :)
Great exploration of blown up bunkers and flack gun placements.
Yes loved this place and thanks William :)
Just wow, can you begin to imagine what that U-boat communication bunker would have looked like in its original state. Gigantic indeed. A shame it was vandalized, and the graffiti monsters did their handy work. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that was put into building this monster. The Germans knew their stuff and were so advanced. Very interesting. Thanks, EE & HH. ❤
yes not many years ago it looked pristine and clean and now , just tragic. Thanks Laura for being here with us :)
Finally getting time to sit down and write about the last three videos posted. Been quite hectic these last several days and, in the evenings, when I've finally been able to sit down to write before I can get to it one of my two cats jumps into my lap and curls up quickly followed by the other one. This evening they're finally letting me write.
Man, that is truly a massive structure. The video gives you a really good idea as to how big it is but sure it doesn't even compare to seeing it in person to get a real perspective! Can't even imagine all the time and resources that the Nazi government put into building it. Then you have to realize all the effort the Soviets put into destroying the site. It certainly must have taken a lot of explosives to destroy it that much. Then the Soviets turn around and try to build on it! Think they would've left it alone to reuse it. The lousy job they did building on it gave me a good laugh.
Thanks for taking us along on the trip!
Good to hear that you take it easy and relax a bit as well as working. Very important that is. Tons of stuff they built out there and we loved to see all of that. Thanks for your great support my friend :)
Ha!😂 Hi guys, yet another great video. Yeah, the graffiti is annoying!!!😢 but it's funny because it helps me to work out the right colour settings/ adjustments for er Yeah 😅
There you go and thanks for watching.
Hi. Is this compound the Koralle complex ? Thanx
Locations are never given. Thanks for watching.
WOW they sure wanted that location to be put out of business. The devestation is beyond the average put them out of communication. Thank you again you 2, be safe, stay healthy and be careful
Yes total shutdown it seems :) Thanks so much Ted.
Either the edges of the structure gave out, or they blew it up from the inside out
Could very well be. Thanks for watching.
Wowza what a place!!
I think there is still a flak tower standing in Berlin..it was also used as a civillian bomb shelter
Thanks for watching.
Looks like the still intact Flak bunkers in other parts of Germany. Amazing structures.
ok and thanks for watching.
Great bunker with so much concrete and reinforcement yet blown up into pieces, enormous destruction. The thickness of the concrete reminds me of our fort Kijkduin here in the Netherlands, city of Den Helder. The fort was covered with sand and a concrete layer with reinforcement. More thickness than I could spread my arms. But great video again and big thumbs up for you two
Yes it really is HUGE and there will be more for you to see my friend and thank for your great support :)
Thanks!
Would love to see photos of this place when occupied by the Germans. Tall radio towers, men and vehicles all over. Are you sure the Germans didn't destroy it knowing the Russians were near ? That took a lot of well placed explosives. Anyway, nice video guys. Stay safe.
Yes imagine how busy that must have been. Great explore and part 2 coming soon. Thanks for your great support and we send a greeting from us.
As always everthing the russians do is quality😂😂😂
