Stunning drone footage of the guns and area. The guns look like they are being preserved to some degree, unusual to find the panels with all the gauges and dials intact. Good to know you are looking after yourselves on those precarious slopes. Thanks for taking us along on another fantastic journey.
My gosh, the Germans build lots of amazing positions, but concrete mountains used to place artillery , unreal! I am so surprised that the dial indicators were still in place on the guns that you visited. I am glad no one has destroyed them. Looked like the direct fire sight was removed from that large gun placement. Pictures of them installing the guns and building the facilities must be interesting if they exist. What an amazing project! The scenery is just beautiful! Scary hike to the top of the observation bunker! Too bad you can't get inside! Great video and tour of this place, another THT hit! Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe and stay well!
I agree Donald. That mountain of concrete is very impressive to see. We hope to share more from here later. Thanks for your incredible support and we send our greetings to you. Be safe out there and keep smiling :)
Wow spectacular location 3 gun placements with guns still intact amazing. The fire control bunker on top of the mountain looks absolutely stunning, too bad couldn't go inside. Thank you so much, Eagle Eye's and history hunter, for the history lessons and drone shots amazing.
Great video, and it truly brings to light all the hard work you do in accessing these historic sites that are in such remote areas. Love your work and I can truly appreciate it's importance. Happy Holidays to you, Eagle Eyes, and Bunker Buster Girl!
What an incredible position! Those guns were some impressive firepower. It's a shame the firing control bunker was closed, it would have been interesting to see. Another great explore, HH and EE!❤
Great site HH. A serious amount of concrete was used for all of it. At 22:00 on the left cliff edge notice the jib crane mount to lift the gun up onto the platform then the placement crane takes over. Just the shear amount to get the cranes in place alone is fantastic. At 10:00, the fuses that are still there and intact is just great. Knowing younger people now-a-days, it is a thrill to see them still there. Was the site controlled by Heer or Kreig marine? Noticed the door at 4:50 remined me of a companion way hatch. EE, glad you had a great time. HH another great video effort, beautiful drone addition. Stay safe and well, regards to the family.
What an impressive location. You did an excellent job showing the placements, too bad they are closed off. I'm sure they would be impressive inside also, especially the fire control bunker. Thank you and EE for the tour, really enjoyed this. You guys are the best.
Probably one of the most stunning Observation Bunkers ever made. The whole set up is very reminiscent of a battleship or cruiser, with the "bridge" overlooking the gun emplacements like that. The drone footage really gives you a sense of the immensity of the construction. And kudos to you both for climbing up to the top! That spectacular 360 degree view from up there was amazing, and certainly shows why they went to so much effort to build that there. Love that fact that the guns are still there, and weren't just scrapped, like most everything else, after the war. They really give you the sense of how imposing that whole fortress was, over the landscape. Thank you both for sharing this incredibly unique fortress with us. Stay safe!
Eagle Eyes- keep TOUCHING HISTORY!!! “Yet, there are soulless men whose hands and brains tear down what time will never give again” -unknown HistoryHunter- thank you for sharing everything that you have shared! I am glad to see that there seems to be a certain level of respect for these historical spots where you are and there is not much graffiti nor destruction.
What a fantastic fortress location! Thank you EE for finding this incredible set of guns and including it in your touching history tour. The location and views took my breath away ❤
Seems the German's had more than enough weapons to make any landings a real nasty surprize. Thank you again HH and EE for this adventure... Be safe, careful and be healthy...
This is completely insane lol. I'm so glad this has been preserved, and it's just fantastic. I really wish they'd kept the fire and control bunker open as I'm sure it must be incredibly interesting inside. Thanks again HH and EE!
Amazing technology and engineering building these monster guns and the hard work that was involved in building these fortresses ! The view is spectacular , blows my mind. Thank you for taking us along , stay safe !
Wow! That site is awesome! Good find EE! And compliments to HH - your editing is getting better all the time. I wondered about something though. When you were looking down in one scene I noticed a couple of small houses below. They seem about the right size for a barracks - were these converted after the war maybe?
The gauges and electrical connections you showed look almost brand new. The way Eagle Eyes struggled to get into that gun, it was a good thing he didn’t have a snack while in there. He may not have gotten out lol. It’s just amazing all the guns are still there. Each one seems to be well placed. It was interesting to see the notches cut out where the shells come out so they could get their hands under them. Then seeing the electrical boxes with the wires and lids still there in the ammunition storage. What a great location and very interesting.
The whole time I'm watching this video, I'm thinking , what an amazing tunnel system must be under these positions to support them .. personal and ammunition, etc etc ...but hey they are closed for a good reason .. was yet another informative and an amazing presentation ..loved it ! Thank you HH & EE.
Not only are the guns, and the emplacements themselves pretty amazing. But the effort and manpower it must have taken to haul all the raw materials right up to the top, then build the things! Wow, young EE really showed us all about "Touching History" in this film. Well done to team HH for getting all the way up and across this site. Thanks as ever for taking us along too.
yes i am totally amazed to think about all the work it must have taken to create those positions and not to mention what is inside the mountain around there. Indeed EE did have the honor to touch a lot of history on this tour and it is thank to great people like yourself supporting our work my friend. Thanks for doing that and for being here :) Greetings from us.
Nice drone footage , i did it on foot with my trusty camera and when i climbed to get a decent picture of the fire control bunker , i must admit my fear of hights kicked in ! . Great video and brought back wonderful memories of exploring this site myself .
Fantastic footage. The scenery was beautiful. I can’t believe you guys climbed up that high wow. Thanks history hunter and eagle eyes. 👍👍👍💜💜💜 your music and drone footage is fabulous
This place is insane. I expected James Bond and a villian to come into shot at any time. As you said i the video, just how did they get all that concrete up to the top, and I was finding it difficult to spot the difference between the concrete and the rocks, such an amazing job. So nice to see that the graffitti bandits have not been there yet. EE was having a great time, thank you both for sharing. Stay safe and well my friends
Its amazing that these WW2 places in Germany are still around and not vandalized, I think its very important that they are Preserved and looked after. O Yes the drone footed was brilliant
Hi HH & EE, It's just like the castles, from a high position you can see the enemy coming. 7:00 Very special that the artillery is in such good condition. Is this a museum location?
Each time i think i have seen the best of your explorations you surpass yourselves again!! This was of the scale breath taking gun positions in such a dramatic location.Well done to EE for getting into that gun position,i think i would have got stuck! Also a big thank you to the volunteers preserving this incredible site, they could have open days and charge admission to view the fire control bunker.👍👍
LOL, when I first saw the fire control bunker from the front the first thing I thought was it did look like an Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars. What a great coastal artillery site and so wonderful that the guns were still there relatively intact. Too bad that one bunker was secured as was the fire control bunker. Would've liked to see the inside of them. Thanks for showing us the site.
The guns are magnificent and aptly topped by the control bunker. The control bunker does look like something out of Star Wars. The Germans certainly had an eye for strong sites and huge guns. HH and EE please stay safe and don’t get too happy climbing around sites like these.
I wish I could open the bunkers so people could take tours through the bunkers and see the history in the bunkers. Does not matter what country history should never be lost. With out we can not know the mistakes that were made in the past. My Dad made sure I learned some of the history from the revolutionary war and the civil was. I've been to Gettysburg Pennsylvania to see the battlefield and learn of the history here so close to my home. And then I learned that the Gettysburg battle is part of my family's past. I've been to Gettysburg twice and I learned from both visits and walking in the footsteps of my ancestors was a moving experience. Thank you for bringing history to us.
This has to be one of the greatest fighting positions remarkable in being impenetrable like the film ‘Where Eagles Dare’. This is where you need to be an eagle to attack this fortress. All those trees in front would most likely have been not there shows the level of work that went into every bunker and fighting positions along the way, it must have been so scary with American or British dropping large payloads of bombs on your head here nearly 80 years now. The fear in the young men must have affected them deeply. We will never know as the victors write history never allowing the loser to have their say! That’s were these positions are the history of those who built them that are no longer around. Thank you for such an amazing road trip.
Shame the C&C tower was all locked up, but those views wow! And to see the guns still in place with there camo frames in place is just crazy. Looking forward to the next edition :) Stay safe
Thanks EE, I didn't realize they had to pull the rope to fire the gun. Guess I'm too used to everything done by pushing a button. That was a very interesting complex. Touch some more history for us.
Gracias, gracias y gracias! HH y EE por mostrarnos un enorme pedazo de historia de la ww2. No podría ver ésto, de no ser por ustedes. (It's a great vídeo, made with passion and respect for the history) thank you again. and I will waiting for another great vídeos! Greetings from Chile!
Beautiful to look at I love the fact they are still intact and you are a able too go and show us these amazing time pieces and the last one you was on I thought it was a star destroyer from star wars lol amazing
I would have loved to been able to go inside. This was truly an amazing position. That was a lot of fire power! I cant imagine how the got the materials way up there for the construction. Wow! They were massive! And how did they get those big guns up there? The scenery was beautiful way up there. Like standing on top of the world. Thank you HH and EE for such a wonderful adventure. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
OH MY GRAVY!!! Stunning views and amazing guns!!! Watching it, I was trying to imagine how they brought in all the material, guns, etc to build all those features. Loved how someone is preserving them too. Too bad you couldn't have gotten into the control area bunker; now that would have been something to see. I noticed at the base of that there was a long metal pipe; any idea what it was? I was thinking something for drainage maybe????? Also noticed a building below one of the guns; possible a replica of what a barracks would have looked like then???? Just a thought lol. I scan and look everywhere in your videos. Thanks to EE for his explanation and tour guide on one of the guns; well done young man. Love how you are actually or you did actually "touch" history. Thanks for taking us to this location. AMAZING views; loved it all. Stay well, safe and smile. Until then, my friend...............................................
@WW2HistoryHunter I so envy you! It would be amazing to be able to camp near these places that you explore. Once, my son and I spent the night on a Ww2 aircraft carrier in Charleston, South Carolina. I couldn't sleep, and I explored that ship until about 3 in the morning, and then I slept on the deck as it was a cool summer night, lol. The history of the place was amazing.
I do know how they make poured concrete agricultural silos! They have a hookup which is not much more than a pulley a rope and buckets! They were able to raise the pulley above them as they went up and then of course they had to work around the outside of the perimeter,, so I would imagine if they would attach a metal beam to the top of the mountain they could have a bucket system to get concrete up there?! Something a little bit better than a bucket I'm sure.
Stunning drone footage of the guns and area. The guns look like they are being preserved to some degree, unusual to find the panels with all the gauges and dials intact. Good to know you are looking after yourselves on those precarious slopes. Thanks for taking us along on another fantastic journey.
Yes a fantastic place this is and very glad we could share that :)
I have been obsessed with the German ww2 military equipment since I was a young man. Thanks guys
Glad you take interest in history my friend :)
ww2 military equipment was much the same amongst the combatants your obsessed with like many guys nazis be honest 🤣
Where is it
What an intense location and to see the big Guns still in place was amazing. Thank you HH and EE for sharing and as always " Good Hunting ".
yes pretty amazing if you ask me :) Thanks my friend.
Such a feat of engineering building the fortifications in those locations! The drone footage really was stunning! Great job guys!
That is very kind of you my friend and we thank you for that. Be safe and greetings from us.
My gosh, the Germans build lots of amazing positions, but concrete mountains used to place artillery , unreal! Such a interesting place and thanks Cynthia :)
love that this vid came out 57 seconds ago perfectly fit for me
Appreciated my friend and greetings from us.

Marine operated this facility and Heer defended it...
Great video! I have missed several video’s of yours because I had a family crisis but I am going to get caught up today. 👍
we appreciate you being here and hope you are doing fine. Thanks and keep smiling out there my friend :)
What an impressive location. You did an excellent job showing the placements, too bad they are closed off. I'm sure they would be impressive inside also, especially the fire control bunker. Thank you and EE for the tour, really enjoyed this. You guys are the best.

Yes i agree , there are none like it out there and i enjoyed that place very much my friend. Incredible explore and thanks for your great support :)
Magnetic island Aus has some good ones . The whole east coast of Aus had them to and you can still see a lot of them today.
Very cool location! Great drone footage & musical score. Thumbs up to the two of you for the incredible tour!
Thanks for watching
Eagle Eyes- keep TOUCHING HISTORY!!!

Seems the German's had more than enough weapons to make any landings a real nasty surprize. Thank you again HH and EE for this adventure... Be safe, careful and be healthy...
Thanks for watching.
Nasty surprise they were ineffective a waste
That’s why they were just skipped for the most part. Ended up being a massive waste of resources.
This is completely insane lol. I'm so glad this has been preserved, and it's just fantastic. I really wish they'd kept the fire and control bunker open as I'm sure it must be incredibly interesting inside.
Thanks again HH and EE!
My thoughts exactly and we thank you for being here with us :)
just wow ,that is a great location, loving that the guns are still there and basically intact inside , great video 👍👍👍👍

That was amazing. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Having been in the FDC (Fire Direction Control,) for the US Army Field Artillery, that FDC bunker is quite impressive!
It sure is and we loved to share that with you. Thanks :)

Its amazing that these WW2 places in Germany are still around and not vandalized, I think its very important that they are Preserved and looked after. O Yes the drone footed was brilliant
Hi HH & EE,
It's just like the castles, from a high position you can see the enemy coming.
7:00 Very special that the artillery is in such good condition.
Is this a museum location?
i agree such a great spot and there are a museum around there i think. Thanks Oma :)
Each time i think i have seen the best of your explorations you surpass yourselves again!! Thanks EE, I didn't realize they had to pull the rope to fire the gun. Guess I'm too used to everything done by pushing a button. That was a very interesting complex. Touch some more history for us.
Very nice explore and we thank you for being here :)
The rope was connected to a button usually but to avoid recoil rope gave safe distance
Top job guys love this channel

I would have loved to been able to go inside. This was truly an amazing position. That was a lot of fire power! I cant imagine how the got the materials way up there for the construction. Wow! They were massive! And how did they get those big guns up there? The scenery was beautiful way up there. Like standing on top of the world. Thank you HH and EE for such a wonderful adventure. We will share more later from here and who knows what we will share then :) Thanks Julie :)
LOL... Looked like a Star Destroyer to me as soon as you reached the top. Very cool. I'd like to touch that. :)

Glad to see it still there. Thanks for watching.
Looking forward to seeing more history. ❤✌️👍😎
Working on it and thanks Robert :)

Locations are not given. Thanks for watching.

Yes how they built that is also a little mystery for me. More to come and thanks for watching.
