- Part 2: • Don Frye on Ref Saying...
--------
In this clip, UFC Hall of Famer Don Frye talked about his upbringing as a child of an Air Force serviceman which had him move around a lot until he settled in Arizona. While in high school, Don wrestled for the school team and eventually earned a scholarship to Arizona State University. However, he details how his stint at ASU was short lived.
While Don talked about his wrestling past, Vlad interjected by revealing that he wrestled back in high school as well and it came in handy during a violent altercation that could've resulted in Vlad losing his life. - Розваги
He's like a real life red dead redemption character
REALLY😒😒😒💣💣
Sounds like Dutch or one of them red dead redemption characters for real
I hate u I hate u I don't even know u & I hate your guts I hope all the bad things in life happen to u & nobody else but u
@@johnmoyarbmg5845 wow I’ve never seen someone make a YT comment radiate with such anger and depression, hope u get help my friend. Have a wonderful day
Hahahahaha I’m rolling
Don Frye saying “yes sir” to Vlad is funny as hell, you can tell he was raised to greet everyone
Yup!
His dad was in the military, it's called good parenting lmao
@Ryan John mmm I would say it has more to do with him being raised a military kid than it does being a wrestler. I’ve met plenty of wrestlers that were very brash, cocky and disrespectful personality wise.
@Ryan John Yeah I mean wrestling is the same as any highly competitive sport that requires great mental and physical toughness to do it in that aspect. There’s always going to be those guys that get an over inflated ego and attitude from doing it. It is what it is. But one thing is for certain, that type of attitude towards peers and those with authority over you won’t fly in the military world so that culture mindset tends to get passed down to the children of the military personnel.
i mean TBH it is called manners. It used to be normal for parents to teach their children to say sir and maam to strangers and elders.
Vlad got a real legend in the building. Don Frye is a OG
@ you sir are named after a true living legend
A real OG and tuff as NAILS
Hell yeah
@@Peppersfirst I swear I just heard Hugo Weavings voice in my head when I read your name🤣🤣

He wasn't lucky. He was tough as nails
Still is
Dude is crazy tough he almost got his ankle snapped by Ken shamrock but still wouldn't tap
@@cloutghost9900 his knee did pop
Tough and lucky. It takes both.
Cant forget his fight against Tank Abbot and how he turned it around at the last moment with a submission hold after receiving a volley of blows.
Vlaaaaaaaaad you're a legend for this one! Don Frye doesn't get the respect he deserves!
Yeah man, agreed. Mad respect to Don Frye.
@Ryan John yeah but he was drunk. Sht wasn't a fair fight...
@Ryan John is it on youtube?
100!!! Legend in combat sports
@@anonymousunknown7845 probably, it was dog the bounty hunter's son Leiland's boxing coach
This is AMAZING don frye is the most manly man out there. Stoked for this one
First time I saw Don fight, I was actually scared. Don Frye is like the essence of manhood and violence. A living legend.
Facts
Manhood and violence? Those two things are stupid.
@@tonyfuri9693 nice pfp. Did you know religion is the cause of most hate and violence? Lots of people died because of religion.
Don Frye is an MMA Pioneer, True Legend.
OMG Vlad got Don Frye!!!! This man is an absolute warrior. This dude was beating the hell out of guys in front of 80,000 people in the Tokyo Dome wearing his American flag outfit. Vlad has really got one of the goats sitting with him.
The only thing Vlad ever wrestled was a check from Rick Ross
whattt too many videos ive heard him drop that wrestling background he apparently has take one look at the dude and you can tell hes never done any type of competitive sport lol
Vlad made the JV team his senior year! Vlad never had the makings of a varsity athlete..
That’s funny
take this W :D
yooooo... I'm cryyyying
One of the most gracious men i ever met. A true legend in my eyes!!!
That Takayama fight was UNREAL! Each of them with a half plum clinch with one hand and BLASTING each other in the FACE with the other. Better than a movie.
I would pay just to hear him say
"OOOHHH YEAH BROTHER"
Lmao. 4 sho
LMFAO 🤣 FORREALLLL
🤣🤣🤣🤣
What? Are you thinking that you are taking about The Macho Man Randy Savage!!! Talk about the MADNESS!!! OOOH YEAH!!!!!
@@VictorLopez-ff1mf I never heard some1 not named randy savage sound this much like randy savage
Without trying to sound like randy savage
This man made me fear mustaches as a kid.
Legend has it that Don Frye has a mug of nails instead of coffee in the morning
This man sounds like he gargles gravel and fights like it too.
🤣🤣🤣
Definitely a badass.
Is there anyone more Oldschool American than this cat? Legend!
Don Frye & Dan Severn 🔥
Seems like a good dude✊💯 btw him saying "yes sir" folks is called manners💯
you know his pops was not having "hey" at his home
This has to be the most humble guy vlad has ever interviewed. Even being that he is tougher than almost anyone vlad has ever interviewed. From years of experience, I've known many loud mouths and some quiet/humble guys as well. It's always the humble guy who stands up when it gets rough.
Vlad you went crazy with this one, an mma legend right here
This guy has a tremendous amount of respectability.
Legend has it that Death once had a close call with Don Frye and Death luckily made it out in one piece.
Dons working for the fire department
And his mustache has a full-time construction job!!!!!
I thought you was talkin Dr death from early wwe.. Kinda same characters
If you Google 'manliest fight ever', this man's will come up.
You’re right
Bigfoot Silva vs Hunt 1
and Henderson vs Shogun 1
were just as bad assed fights.
@@FuShengAlex That Don Frye one was extra brutal. You probably saw it but if not it's worth it.
Don't forget
Coleman vs Frye
Bas Rutten vs Frank Shamrock.
@@NickCTaylor oh yeah....that reminds me a lot of the beginning of Guida v Sanchez...lol. Frye and Takayama were just battering each other in the clinch.
Bigfoot v Hunt 1 is my personal favourite MMA fight of all time. They went all 5 rounds and were bloodied and battered.
There were so many momentum switches I remember watching it live.....the longer the fight went the more crazier it became.
That voice 😂😂😂 that’s what you call a boss voice!
I never would think that in my life I'll see Don Frye on Vald. 2020 just keep on getting stranger. I love Don Frye. One of the badass MMA fighter back in the day.
This man sounds like he’s permanently reaching down to pick something up
🤣 🤣 🤣
😂🤣😂
😂🤣
😆
Holy fuck that was a good one
Don Frye hot hands, This dude can thump! Should be a classic interview!
Dons the definition of tough ...he went years after a back surgery with the rod in his back being unknowingly broken witch they didn’t fix till years later : different breed !!!!
Someone buy this man a beer
Now this is a man's man!! You have to take a shot of whiskey each time Vlad uploads Don "the predator" Frye video clip
(Don Frye) "Toughest SOB I have ever fought"!- Mark Coleman
Always thought Don Frye was pound for pound one of the baddest men on the planet. His early work in the UFC was brutal
A real legend. My favorite fighter of all time.
He has no filter lol. His UA-cam clips are hilarious. Long time fan
That's a legit tough guy right there.
Legit brain damage too
He could communicate with whales with the deepness of his voice

Don taught Burt Reynolds and Sam Elliott how to be men
What a fantastic person :) His legacy will be never forgotten.
The way this tripple UFC OG talk is a good example of fighting smart. Dude is well articulated for sure. Much respect to this legend.
Good Lord! I was not prepared for his voice. Seriously I didn’t know there were men who still sounded like that. 😳

Salute to this legend definitely do more of these from pioneers of MMA
Hell ya Don Frye is a Legend super excited for this interview good job glad
The toughest Mixed Martial Artist to ever live.
Toughest is an opinion. I think of Chuck liddell as my favorite dude but damn fights do so much damage to you over years.

Na its ok he retired it. he only keeps it around for the mustache rides these days...
Living LEGEND! Frye is one of the toughest SOB's to ever compete in MMA. Fact. Throwback, they don't make them like that Man anymore.
An OG legend and he almost knocked the fuck out of some las weekend lmao
Living legend!! He’s everything i wished he would be! 🙌🏼 God bless him, a true pioneer of the sport!!!
Loved him in Godzilla: Final Wars. His acting was horrendous, but I dug seeing him in it.
I enjoyed this Don Frye interview. I hope you interview more MMA fighters and boxers.
I met him about 5 years ago. I patted his back and his muscles felt like solid wood.
All the years I’ve been watching Vlad this got my attention faster than any other interview
Absolutely humblest legend, the one who can fight thousand wars still won't budge and will stand on feet. Real man
Real man? That's not something he would say because it's disrespectful.
This dudes a true alpha male
Vlad should do more MMA fighters, hopefully he can get Dan Severn next!
He’s coming soon
He listens to you bro...ask him to interview ken shamrock next
I didn’t think he sounded like that lol
What yoy thought he sounded like one of the rappers of lean and xans
Them cigars
He’s exactly what i imagined him to sound like. Big bearded badass.
He didn't. He partied harder than he fought.
Don Frye was king in the days of no gloves, no weight classes, no rules and no $. He almost makes the best modern day mma fighters look weak, which should be impossible.
Legend says that Don Frye's mustache has the power of 10 men and can leap tall buildings
😂😭😭
This guy sounds like he’s from Red Dead Redemption 2 😂
Don's humility is amazing. Says a lot about his character.
Met him a few times. Such an ol school character n glad to have him as an American. Good stuff Vlad mixing it up
Don Frye is a tough, all around good dude. Respect!
This is a Man's Man.
Vladimir tell us the story of how u wrestled all of Rick Ross guys when they jumped u.

Lol vlad be antagonizing and I can see why
Don "The Predator" Frye!- Straight pioneer of the game. It was NHB (No Holds Barred) back then. The term Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) was a long way off. Nice Pull Vlad
A real legend. Absolute warrior 👊
This dudes more gangster than anyone thats been on this
Did i hear him correctly. He was a firefighter and on his days off his mustache would go and shoe horses?!
No no... on his Mustache's days off from being a firefighter, he pulled a horseshoe out of Frank Mir's ass.

That’s so nice of Vlad to give Don Frye a history lesson on the ufc 🙄
Watching Don Frye back in the day was like getting a preview of what MMA was going to turn into. The man is a legend. Straight up tough as nails alpha male. He's a guy that would become good at anything he chose to do because he'll put in whatever work necessary. that comes from upbringing.
Don looks great! What a fighter he was...
The only thing harder than Don Frye is Don Frye's voice
LIVING LEGEND. MAD RESPECT 4 DON FRYE
Love when he’s talking about dan severn and just starting out. He kinda pauses in realization when he says “ Never got paid for it”! Lol
Idk this guy but I like how he talks like he from true grit
WAT!!! YR BABY ASS!!!! 💣💣😂😂
If you drink Diesel fuel mixed with Jack Daniel's your voice becomes like Don's.
Alpha humble Man. A dying breed.
I actually stopped watching Vlad's interviews for quite awhile, but i fucking love Don Frye. "Duck, bob, keep your hands up, and get a prenup." Words of wisdom from The Predator.
His Pride fights were fun to watch.
THEY WERE GREAT
Pride was amazing overall. They literally kicked the $hit out of each other
This man is forever cool.
One of the toughest men to ever live.
Ok this one I did NOT see coming! Gotta watch this
His Voice Kind Of Reminds Me Of Farmer Fran From Waterboy
