Peace lily is one of my fav plants to have for my tanks. Simple to care for and they grow very well, but i've never done it this way.. The roots on mine are never in substrate and never that deep in water. Something about root rot, lack of oxygen and them absorbing nutrients from the water column instead of soil when in water. I may be wrong since it has been a few years since i last did any research on this. When it worked on my first attempt, i saw no need to change or experiment. Have u had a successful growth when planted in soil? Looks cool on a shallow setup though
Sometimes they just need time to adjust from soil to water growing and they will loss some roots and leaves but then after a while grow more better suited for the water life. I have them in my 29 gallon tank and grow them around the rims of some of my summer tubs outside in the shade. @@AquascapeArtVideos
Hello I'm a new subscriber here. I would love to see a video on the type of filter and heating you use in your tank setups and how you hide them, so they are not so obvious in the appearance of the aquascape. I'm about to attempt my first aquascape and would appreciate it. Thank you ☺
Hello I have a question please does the peace lilly have to be planted in the substrate in order for it to work? Or can I just put it in one of those square boxes for hanging plants?
Hi! I was watching another peace Lily aquarium video! The creator said to condition them to only water before the tank, and only the roots should be in the water, none of the roots! But this looks amazing, and I hope you find success with the peace lily moving forward❤️
Ah yes I don’t use heating as I live in a hot tropical climate and temperature here stays at around 24-32degrees C. Definitely pls use a heater for colder climate 👍🏼
Ah the tank looked awesome! I really loved how it turned out,✨✨ I also want to try this aquascape for my Black Ghost Knife fish, I hope mine turns out great as yours!
Hey thanks so much! Please remember to wet the substrate while planting to avoid the air pockets 😂. I want to see what yours look like when you’re done 👍🏼
Yes i think that is interesting because in my first peace lily build, it grew really well in the substrate and flowered too, so although I know roots are usually exposed, I wanted to create this look. Oh well, I have to try again in the future with varying methods of planting. Thank you so much for watching this video 🙏🏼
Yes I should try that next time though when I did my first lily tank, my lilies went straight from the pot without conditioning and it was thriving. You can see it in my first video on the description 👍🏼

Yes i had a previous tank build using exactly the same method that thrived for over a year. I know this method works but something was amiss 😅

Hi 👋 I m one of your new subscribers
Can you make a video on koi fish patio pond
I live in bali to
hello aquarium dimesion pls
👌🏼💯🔥😘😊
Thank you 🙏🏼❤❤❤
You could have conditioned the peace lillies to be aquatic for around 15 days before planting them straight into the aquarium
Yes I should try that next time though when I did my first lily tank, my lilies went straight from the pot without conditioning and it was thriving. You can see it in my first video on the description 👍🏼
Why is that betta so active
Because it ain’t suffocated in a 1-5 gallon tank 😂
I love you
🙏🏼♥️
Next time try the Arrow Plant instead, much miniature plant that won't grow so tall.
Don't you breed betta fish
This is done totally wrong
