I made a Betta cube using my favourite house plant...a Peace Lily. this paludarium / aquarium / Aquaterrarium (who even knows lol) is simple to do for any level but I feel the final result is worthy of any living space and a great focal point / conversation starter. Hope you enjoy 😊

Beautiful as always. I wonder what is the average water volume loss due to hard scape. I guess another argument for getting the largest setup you have the space/budget for.
with the super glue can I still glue plants down when my tank is filled up or should I empty it and restart? please I need to know
@@joeycas6515 your best bet is to take the pieces you want to glue plants to out wipe dry, glue and place back in. No need to drain the whole tank.

@@jayparker96 wow 100 gal?! 😮 I really want a big tank! But I need to resist the urge since this apartment will only be temporary! The moving process with fish tanks is a pain 🍑..I actually don’t have a dining table haha! Just a small foldable table to put on my lap 🙃

Bettas DO love to see another Betta in a SEPARATE clear tank. It can cure their lethargy. I put up paper dividers if they get rambunctious for too long. Also, every night the dividers go up for their sleep-time. In the morning, as I remove the paper dividers, I say "Say hello to your neighbor"! They greet each other and eat their meals as they watch each other. Simply beautiful and happy. USA

Reminder for those with other pets in the home: peace lily and most other lilies are toxic to cats, so be careful where you place the plants.
yup! had that experience with my cat. Wasn't deadly but it did make her lips swell up and she had to have shots and other medication.
No cats no problems
Same my mom had a lot of plants which are toxic to dogs and cats we have a dog but luckily my dog didn't care about the plants

Bettas are so smart and inquisitive.... he checks out the entire tank then spots the lily. You can see the look on his face when he sees it and goes straight for it. Excellent camera work, @MD Fish Tanks.

Thanks a lot. It just comes down to practice and over time, you can "feel" pretty quickly what doesn't sit right with you.
What type of stone do you like to use most? Considering Ph levels, tanks have been my hobby for a long time and I want to get into more natural living tanks. But with respect petsmart doesn't have all the answers. Thank you 😊

That is one beautiful fighter fish! I've always had bettas because they're not just majestic, they're highly intelligent. You can tell how curious he got as soon as you released him in his new tank 💕

I’m a houseplant enthusiast (100+ different houseplants) I used to work at small maw and paw pet shops in the fish section. Unfortunately we couldn’t compete w the chain pet shops and had to close shop. Lately I have been reallyyyy missing that place. And then I found your channel. Ok lots are asking...the pump to empty the tank water is external and sits by my sink. It's switched on with a smart plug and just sends the water down the "drain" pipe under the sink usually for a washing machine or dish washer.
