Tragedy in Joshua Tree National Park, Vanished on Camping Trip 6/2020

Hello everyone, in today's video I will discussing the tragic case of Erika Ashley Lloyd who disappeared from Joshua Tree National Park, California on June 16, 2020. She was only 37 years old at the time. She was last seen on June 14, 2020 in her hometown of Walnut Creek, CA right before she left for her 500 mile trip south. She last spoke to her family on June 16th and her mom said it sounded like she was driving but said, she sounded ok.
Her black Honda was found by the California Highway Patrol on June 16, 2020, eerily the same day she was last heard from. The car was completely trashed, broken windows, windshield, broken radio and air bags had been deployed. The car was found near the intersection of Highway 62 and Shelton Road in Twentynine Palms. An extensive search was launched for Erika, but nothing was found. The family even hired Doug Billings who is a cave and mine expert, to help look for her. He came up with a few leads and then crazy enough in October of 2020 he found two sets of remains in and around the area she was thought to have gone missing, however, neither of these turned out to be hers. In this video I discuss all the details of what happened in this case.
