Whenever I go to Joshua Tree I always think of Selena Quintanilla (one of my favorite singers) because it’s where she shot her music video for Amor Prohibido ☺️😊
I’ve always found the Joshua Tree National Park to be an enchanted kinda place; especially at dusk; or in the moonless nights, under a magical blanket of stars.
Arches and Bryce Canyon National Parks up in Utah are definitely worth a video, Chris. Especially now that overseas travel is still restricted. You could combine it with a trip to Vegas.
I love Joshua Tree NP. It's one of my favorite. This is an awesome video as usual. Keep going on what you do best, Chris. Waiting a new video about Los Angeles and Vegas 😊👍
Thank you for your great video ❤️Joshua Tree is an excellent place to visit. It is such a peaceful experience ❤️so many great hikes . There is a great hike to heart rock no map you have to navigate to find it. If you find it you are one of the lucky ones👍🏿
Hi Chris Great video ! We have been to Palm Springs 3 times & always thought we would like to do Joshua Tree National Park, now we will add it to our list. Great info. Thanks
Joshua wud say welcome home...with arms wide spread...wow! The baby Joshua is about oldest sister's age! 😂...I love the yellow production video...especially when I need to go somewhere 🌝🌝🌝👍👍👍🏞🏕🏖🏡🏝🏜
Just got back from there, and your tip about cell phone coverage was right on, as well as your suggestion to skip Skull Rock. But you should've mentioned the hike to 49 Palms Oasis. Truly awesome!
Heart rock is to the left of arch rock good luck finding it❤️it’s a huge rock shaped like a heart everyone goes to skull rock not too many people know about it 👀
No way! Were you there on Friday, June 12th? We visited from San Diego, had a blast! Super windy, but it kept the desert temp down! Wish I could have seen you, would have loved to show some respect in person (socially distanced of course)!
Hi RyGuy.. we visited in March right before the park shutdown due to the pandemic. I was holding this video until it reopened. Glad you enjoyed your visit!
Hey buddy question before you do a video. How long do you study the location you are about to film in?. I'm an upcoming host., I need some advice. thanks and advance.
Please do not park in campsites that are already occupied. Please do not ask people to share their campsite. Please do not walk through people's campsites. White Tank Campground is absolutely ruined by all the people who stop to use the restroom. I was blocked in by a car parked in my campsite. Do not hang anything or climb on the Joshua Trees.
Do not come here you will never make it back out us locals always have to see all the missing people and then all the bodies being found in the national park
@@gravityhammer25 it’s crazy these past two weeks almost 4 bodies have been found a young lady is still missing and they closed the search theres a body found right next to the park loads of missing people and a majority of them have been found deceased it’s sad 🤦🏻♀️

I am so worried, most ppl visiting L.V. are not practicing any social distancing or wearing masks. We gotta remind them, or else Vegas will close again and other ppl (like me) wont be able to go there anymore.

Stop with the pretenses. There are only dirts, rocks, cacti, mountains and trees. Of course you could get the same thing driving through Arizona and New Mexico, but you don’t have to pay $30. The park people were waving their hands at the entrance for just to go through. Later found out that you have to pay $30 before you leave. Will file an official complaints with the dept of the interior.
Hah! Well.. as you could hear we didn't actually have the volume up.. that's just whatever was on the SiruisXM station we were tuned to, but not listening to
Such as amazing park... I thought my kids would be bored, but they loved walking the easy trails and climbing the rocks. Extremely recommended.... you wont be disappointed.
Hi Chris! I was at Joshua Tree yesterday. Great tip about downloading the map into your cellphone. Extremely helpful! There is some or no service inside the park. We had great weather yesterday. 👍
I've heard a lot of great things about Joshua Tree National Park! I've had friends go there and love how photogenic it is. Thank you for the explanation about what a Joshua Tree is. I will add this to my growing list of national parks to visit! Thanks for the tour!

Oooh.. moonless night. That has to be dark!
Part of my karmic circle .
Woohoo! It’s exciting to have videos coming out like this again! I can’t wait to travel as things become safer. Thanks Chris for the great guide!
Thanks Henry!
Just visited Joshua Tree for the first time a couple weeks back, absolutely fell in love with it. The towering rock stacks are unreal. Great video!
Joshua Tree makes you feel like you are on another planet. Especially at night when you see all the stars and the Milky Way.
I was just there I didn’t see the Milky Way 🥲 still beautiful
Grew up in Yucca Valley, just next to it. Back then it was still just a National Monument, no fees, not many crowds, better times.
Very informative!! I’ll be there this weekend and this video is extremely helpful. Thank you!
Enjoy Joshua Tree Kitty!
Thanks for another great video Chris. Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks MP!
Thanks for this video !! Ahhh I really want to visit here in the beginning of January
Thanks Deborah!
At the Joshua Tree Inn, Gram Parsons died there in 1973, he is a music legend. I can see now what he found so beautiful about Joshua Tree.
Maybe visit this week!!!💯👍
Enjoy!
Great info! I’m camping in Joshua Tree this weekend for the second time, and it’s great to have this extra knowledge.
Awesome! Enjoy Joshua Tree Nicole!
I live here, and I am glad I found you.

thank you for the information great video!
I thought the name of the tree came from the name of the U2 album, haha!
this was great!!
Thanks Powaup!
One thing to know, ALL Joshua trees lean slightly to the south. If you get lost out there and many people do, knowing this could save your life.
Thanks for that tip Pat!
The people who haven’t seen these trees in the park still haven’t found what they’re looking for!
Wow I need to visit this place as soon as this stupid pandemic is over.
Just wear a mask and visit now! I went yesterday.
Thank you

Hey there! Great video! It is extremely informative and helpful. Which part of the park were you sitting on boulders at 5:50?? Thanks.
That was near "Arch Rock"
Thanks for this. Definitely not staying more than 1 night lmao
Not to mention the observatory at 29 palms!
how does one download the maps? on iphone maps?
If in Joshua tree sportsmans has a campground and is just down the street from the Joshua tree entrance road for the park

What do I pack and wear!? Help
You had it almost right. Mormons thought they looked like Joshua raising his arms to bring down the walls of Jerico.
Can you drive your side by side in the park
Not sure. But I don't see why you couldn’t
Hey buddy question before you do a video. How long do you study the location you are about to film in?. I'm an upcoming host., I need some advice. thanks and advance.
How about restrooms? Are there inside the park and near the trails??
Yes. Restrooms are inside the park and near some trails. But they are pit toilets only. No running water inside the park.
Lost my best friend there. Somebody screwed up on the rules and safety practices and he fell about 50 feet and hit his head. 😂
Oh no!
I take it there are no restrooms?
They have pit toilets in the park. The only flushing toilets they have are at the visiter centers and at the west park entrance.
@@michellebreceda i always just dig a cat hole wherever!
Where do you take a Duke at ?
There are toilets at the campgrounds in the park
Chris have you ever encountered a snake or scorpion?
Plenty of snakes around California
A ton of Joshua trees? Are they diminishing?
Yes sadness .
First time here.
Welcome :)
I will be visiting next week and dropping the motherload of shrooms🍄
Did you just call Boulderers amateurs? Don't let the climbers find this...😬

Restrooms?
Yes.. at the camp sites and some major trail heads... no running water though. pit toilets only.
Good try, but there's some wildly inaccurate information in this video, as well as some solid tips.
It's not the Colorado desert, it's the sonoran desert
Prove it!
So, why pay 30 Dollars if there are no amenities? Because ... it's California. I was there in 1984 - free.

The film FLAshpoint, Kris Kristofferson, Treat Williams, there an old man in desert living in a motorhome, , looks like with mental sanity...
It's obviously a tree. Why not call it just "Joshua"?

Dang. You snubbed Yucca Valley for places to stay... Lol
its Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World!!! 😂😂😂
Sort of irresponsible to not mention to have plenty of drinking water in your car and on your person. That should had been your number one mention.
Is this the place where Armie hammer was ? And where 6 people went missing after cannibal accusations

The tallest Joshua tree is 100ft
Arch rock requires some rock scrabbling not bouldering.
